The hotel is of very high quality, Staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious, area in which the hotel is located is calm, peaceful and quiet. Room is cosy and nicely arranged, bathroom is big, everything is clean and tidy.
Park Diament has been renovated in 2013 - on outside it look like not very grandiosely... It is worth to know that actually there are two hotels joined together: Diament (rated 3 Star) and Park Diament (rated 4 Star). It is a great place for those that have planned visit at Guido Coal Mine, which is located a mere 400 m away. Hotel has quite a lot of parking places - daily parking fee is 25PLN. Hotel lobby looks really good, the same applies to corridors, breakfast area and rooms (at least those in 4* part). Staff is excessively polite and quite helpful. I stayed in a business room (#123) for a couple days. Room was spacious (~30 sq. m), modern and well equipped (air-conditioner, tea / coffee set, sofa...). BEWARE that mattresses are VERY firm...it is standard in DIAMENT hotels. I really suffered during nights. What negatively attracted my attention were stains on a bedcover and on wall (see pictures)... it shouldn't have taken place... one more thing: air-conditioner was difficult to operate and not too quiet... Breakfast served from 6.30 to 10 am was not too sophisticated, however nicely served and tasted good. There was even a cook who was preparing omelets on demand. There is a free entrance to the small fitness room with a few elliptical trainers, and some dumbbells... Free WiFi was speedy (~500KB/s download). Price / value ration is only so-so, average price per night for a business room (with breakfast) was ~380PLN.…
Hotel is quiet new and very nice. The standard single room is comfortable. The bed was wider than expected. The room was clean and also the bathroom. I missed only the refrigerator - in this category it should be a standard.
I was in Zabrze for one week for business reasons. The hotel is pretty nice, rooms are fine and comfortable (really good bed, bathroom very fine and large). Breakfast was very delicious. On request the hotel delivered lunch (for 6 persons only) to the meeting in the inner city (app. 5 km). Lunch was pretty delicios, delivery in time, very good price! potential for improvement: as always Quality of Service depends on the employees, and some of them are not fit for a 4 star hotel and not really motivated: - we spent the evenings on the terrace with a drink and sometimes a small dinner. One day we waited for 45min! for service next day we ordered small lunch for 3 persons - 2 deliverd, third one forgotten - noisy: the 3 star part of the hotel hosts bus tourists. busses arrived late in the night and start early morning, busses are parking directly in front of the hotel (started engine at 5:00). As this is a "no smoking hotel" guest (and personel) is smoking in front of the hotel, directly under the rooms. they had much fun for the whole night (I never realized that so many people are smoking for so long time). Smoking area should be moved somewhere else, away from the guest rooms. The rooms are equipped with water heater - good idea!, but coffee or tea is not refilled. Once you consumed your cup of coffee (or 2 bags of tea), you will have take care on your own to get new coffee. Would be great to re-fill coffee and tea ever day (or offer this service for a reasonable price), otherwise the water heater in the rooms are more or less useless. In total, the hotel is pretty good with some potential to improve Quality of Service. When booking, ask for a room in one of the higher floors, not in fromt of the parking area (busses) and not in front of the main entracance (smokers party).…
