Staff not taking care about COVID restrictions. All guest are walking without masks. Play room for kids is very small, games for xbox are ~10 years old. In general I strongly dont recommend this object in high season as you will wait for everything ages (elevator, meals, playing room, swimming pool, etc).
Quiet hotel, with high standard. Dog friendly with separate entry. Amazing green neighborhood for morning/evening walks with pet. Stuff really friendly, room was clean, with big (1-person-size) bath included and proper size balcony. Beds comfortable. Food (only breakfast for us) were tasty and varied enough for our short stay. Restaurant seemed to be big enough. Hotel area huge with wonderful view for the neighborhood. Pool also clean, quite big, clean towels. Big playroom for kids. I recommend! cons: pool with just one jacuzzi, heavily occupied, also swimming area full with kids, so do not expect peaceful relaxation if you're not parent on that trip. Still better to meet noisy kids in pool than running and screaming around hotel. Two gym-size saunas (4 person max). I enjoyed it anyway, but it's hotel-way SPA, not real one, keep that in mind. Limited parking spots - parking required creativity.…
Spacious and very clean room with a view on mountains and nice balcony. Superb bath with jacuzzi. Really large and comfortable bed. Big enough living room. Very nice towels and bathrobes of a good size. Tasty and varied breakfasts and dinner buffet. Very nice swimming pool. Helpful and smiling staff and waitresses. Things to correct: Not working lamp at a balcony, Two lifts is not enough for such a big object. Breakfasts served till 10 a.m. only, it's too early in my opinion.
We are on our holiday but we can’t rest… A lot of kids, which bring cart on the pool arę very noisy! 2 elevators in hotel is definitely too little.. we have to go stairs.. Today we were in mountians and back to the hotel very tired, but we can’t go to the room because our cards don’t work! 3 times we go to reception because service make a mistake to program cards!!! We don’t recommended.
Overall a very mixed stay. Great location, clean hotel, loads of activities on site and near by as well as great access to the mountains, stunning countryside views. Rooms spacious and comfortable and the food was reasonable (eclectic mix at dinner buffet), al la carte much better . Staff were mixed from the smiling and super helpful to the rude and lazy. Needs a revamp of staff training as the few poor performers let down the experiance. Stayed with grand parents and a three year old, would reccommend for a short stay
Very good hotel with few things that can be improved. Lets start with possitives: *great location, surrounded by forest on a hill without hustle of the city *surrondings of the hotel have lots yo offer for guests, even those with children *good size rooms, especially the siute with spa, not to mention the view * good swimming pool and spa * lots of parking space * good breakfast with outdoor options Not so great: *the hotel is 'tired', lacking the standard of premium 5⭐ hotels * renovation is needed in certain areas, room furniture ect *from memory the lobby bar did close very early which is sad especially if you want to have a late night drink,
Lets start with the positives. The hotel and the rooms all offer beautiful views over Czantoria and the mountains and overlooking the neighbouring Lesny Park. The location is good as it is slightly out of town but this means you are away from the action and facilities such as restaurants. The road leading up to the hotel can also be quite crowded because it passes the popular Lesny Park. The hotel grounds were nice with open green space to explore and the exterior was unique. After booking we read that the hotel was under going a major renovation in March which did freshen up the interior. Alas the attention to detail was lacking and much of the good aspects of the hotel ended here. Access is quite poor. During our stay the drop off area in front of reception was constantly parked in by the same cars. There was nowhere to drop off your luggage and the no parking signs were obviously ignored. The one car park well down the hill was always very full and we were lucky to get a car space and it is quite a steep climb from the carpark to the hotel especially with your luggage. Room 201 was one of the suites and was located near the lifts. It was a large spacious room with some updated décor but other things like scratched doorhandles and a cracked bathroom basin had not been renovated which detracted from the quality of the room. There was a nice balcony but you have to avoid the neighbouring smokers. The bed was soft and small and the pillows flat and lumpy and we had to request extra pillows to support our neck. They brought them but questioned why we needed them. Good independent air con and lots of powerpoints and USB ports for charging. The real negatives were the terrible soundproofing inside and out. We could clearly hear noise from neighbouring rooms, the hallway and even bands playing down in the town centre. Housekeeping was one of the worst we have encountered. Their work seemed limited to making the bed and refreshing some amenities. They did not vacuum, clean the bathroom or properly hang up towels after use. Wall mounted soap dispensers were almost empty when we arrived and were not refilled during our entire stay. The bathroom was decent although the spa bath had traces of dirt on arrival. The wifi signal was very poor and kept dropping out. When we asked staff whether the internet was working they simply said to keep trying and offered no other explanation or apology. The breakfast buffet was extensive but alot of the food was not covered which can be a problem with large crowds with poor hygiene. The restaurant didn’t come across clean with stained table clothes and dirty plates. Apart from the lady who checked us in most staff seemed disinterested and did not excel in customer service. We rarely criticise a hotel this much but the effort made and the supposedly five star product offering were that poor that it warranted it. To top it off we received an email from the hotel a few days later with a demand for payment for minibar consumption that we had not used. They did not respond to our reply that we did not use the minibar. A simple thank you or acknowledgement would go a long way.…
Perfect place for stay with children, who, along with their parents, are treated like real guests and not like small disturbing company for adults. Great attitude of all hotel people for guests. All possible small "problems" that happens everywhere and everytime in the world are solved immediately, without any hesitation, with care and undrestanding for guests needs. And that's the attitude all of us love as we all need to be treated with care and have excellent stay. Our son said this was the best hotel he stayed in. I agree with him, as it was fine time and seeing his excitation during the one week time I was happy too. The hotel underlines its being the hotel perfect for children and this is not only the boasting but reality. I don't know what more to add to: great, excellent, high level service, great people? Just be there to feel it yourselves. If I was forced to find something to "grumble" I would find one thing: the lift doors sometimes close too fast and a bit not too carefully, as if sensors were "not seeing" the smaller users like children and they could be hit with the closing lift doors. That's not so dramatic as it seemed to be when You read it but You just have to take care of that and tell children to be careful with that when they go up & down, down & up and so on. I point at it so as to pay attention to that and to point it to hotel manager to make it safer. One more remark for those who like to have their cars just almost in front doors: the hotel parking is not on one level and is not a wide, flat area in front of the hotel. Because of the natural reasons (building location that, from the other side gives You excellent view from some rooms and from hotel restaurant) You park either on the few parking places by the front door or by the internal road leading up to hotel. But the road is just approx. 100 metres long so You are still close to hotel. The flat parking area is 100 metres down the hotel (still in internal area of the hotel) and You have just 100 m to hotel. Not too far I think - that's really not a problem. There is no situation and time when You don't have place to park. Summing up: Thumbs up and just go there to spend good time!…
We spent some days in hotel Belweder in Ustron ate the end of year 2018. After reading some opinions, I was a bit afraid to go there. I have to say, anyway, that those people were doing a black PR or never have been in this hotel. It's great located, rooms (at least premium) are clean, big well equipped. As our stay was during Christmas, we had a very special food for breakfasts and dinners, a very wide choice and everything was really tasteful. Very friendly staff, nice swimming pool, room for children, great view through windows... We definitely would like to come back there one day!
It is perfectly located hotel with wonderful view on Czantoria. Food and service is excellent. The hotel rooms a bit out dated. There is a kettle and coffee machine in each room. Nice indoor swimming pool
