The hotel kn general is- as headline says average. Not good, not bad - most is ok, but some things are not good enough. For instance, going to the shower with water hose to short to wash without bending down is simply not good enough and on top no where to handle the shower head, so had to wash with one hand and hold the water hose with the other - simply unacceptable!! Breakfast was there, but definitely nothing special. General cleaning was fine and rooms ok. So all in all - can be found better elsewhere.

The Tarnovia Hotel was a fine hotel, but the STAFF and FOOD are OUTSTANDING!!!! We were there for a wedding, but enjoyed Tarnow as well. We also visited nearby towns, including Zalipie, a wonderful village entirely painted with folk art flowers!

First of all, full marks go to the staff here who unlike many of their compatriots are very good at saying yes. Yes to an early check in, yes to a late check out, yes to a coffee late in the evening and again early in the morning. You think this is usual? Not in a mid-range hotel in Poland it’s not... That aside this is a pretty basic place, although they seem to do well out of weddings but were again kind enough to put me out of earshot on the ‘wrong’ side of the hotel. There’s a pretty terrace but inside everything is extremely dated although it’s all clean and everything worked and the room was spacious but then, why not, it’s a sleepy town with no pressure on space...

Very nice hotel with pleasant interior. Food is amazing and at good prices. There is also parking which is an advantage over other hotels around. Staff is very kind and helpful, they make fab coffee! I can't complain about anything there! Although if they lower the rates or maybe upgrade the rooms a bit I bet they will have more guests.

I stayed at the Tarnovia for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay there. For a large hotel, there was a friendly feeling to it. Reception was always helpful. The room was of a fair size and the bed was comfortable. There was tv, ac and wifi in the room. There were bars and a restaurant in the hotel but I did not use them as Tarnow centre was less than 10 minutes walk away. Therefore, the location was good. Also nearby, about 5 minutes walk, were the train and bus stations. At a good price, I can definitely recommend this hotel.

+ superb breakfast - lot of to choose from + located at a safe location + free wi-fi (not very fast) + rather clean room + rather spacious room - paid car park (but you can park at nearby car slots on the street)

We love this hotel all the staff inc cleaning staff couldn’t be more accommodating,( especially Anna on reception)nothing is too much trouble, breakfast is fantastic all you could want& more, rooms are immaculate I wouldn’t consider another hotel whilst being in Tarnów location is perfect

Disappointed with service provided. It’s cheaper to book via booking.com than direct. Prices at the time of booking were different on the check out. Reception only had one person to serve- everyone were waiting. Do not recommend

Overall a very nice hotel with extremely courteous and professional staff. 1/2 the rooms in the hotel do NOT have Air Conditioning so be prepared. Rooms are small and somewhat aged. Mattresses are soft. Food service was excellent and efficient for our 170 person group each morning. Great location near shopping and main street. Only about a 2 kilometer walk to city square from the hotel.
