arolinka is an old house with history and with soul – previous it was a mountain chalet – now, after completly modernization, renovation and new design arrangament, it becomes into elegant aparthotel. Though a series of changes which took place in our guest house, Karolinka still has a very family atmosfere and offers the opportunity of relax and active stay in mountains. Our rooms and apartments have bathroom ensuited, kitchenettes or access for our main kitchen (24h) and free wifi. Available for guest is also Fireplace Hall with terrace and free parking places.

Nothing to bad, all is really great (warm season) - lots greens around, close to hiking/walking trails,huge & warm breakfast, tea & coffee without limit, fine details, warm and tidy rooms, well equipped kitchen in apartment, friendly owner, PS3, boardgames, magazines to read, toys for children, hot showers, amazing views from the salon, fireplace. Poor wifi at rear building, poor & loud floor, not closing bathroom door. And everything was great. Would back definitely!

Very nice place to stay when visiting Szczyrk. New building, unfortunatelly already with some issues, such as loose steps on fancy main stairs, the bathroom door not locking or even closing, the shower door with big gaps on sides allowing water out on the floor, wifi practicaly off the range in upstairs rooms, need to go to the lounge (or common room) downstairs. Breakfast was fab, but only on the morning the owner lady was in, the previous morning, with some young lad sitting in for her - breakfast was much simplier, thou still very good. Some restricted, but still good views over the valley from common room, unfortunatelly our room no 7 faced west, so the views were really restricted to the forest line nearby. Very steep drive towards Karolinka, I would think impassable in snowy times. All issues mentioned above are just minor ones, and we really enjoyed our stay at Karolinka, thou they really need to step up their maintenance work, as without proper looking after it will quickly become a real hazard for guests.

wonderful location, great design, lovely details, perfect for a romantic hideaway. the rooms are simple with friendly atmosphere, the place is very clean and we had nice breakfast. lakes and hills are in easy reach and this little town offers tones of fun. it was a great surprise!

I can mostly agree with the positive comments on this guesthouse, but, if you expect to get a nice breakfast then better pass by some Biedronka and fill up your fridge. The morning the owner lady was not in, the staff didn't care about cleaning the tables, not filling up the buffet, not even making fresh coffee. Disgrace on the owner who seems to be so dedicated to her business!

Beautifully decorated in a modern style with panoramic views of the mountains. The owner of the guest house is incredibly friendly and helpful so we felt very welcome! Would highly recommend this guest house.

This guest house is so fantastic..Rooms are tiny, clean bathrooms, very nice service (not only the front desk - which is not there!) so different experience! Eat watching mountains through panoramic window by the fireplace inside..the atmosphere here is unique.
I don't know if in winter time a 2 wheel drive will be able to reach this building, chains are required when snows.
You feel like at home so what more to expect? Very GOOD.

We spent an awesome weekend in a suite of the Karolinka guest house. After long days of skiing it was always a pleasure coming back "home" to a friendly, clean and stylishly decorated place with a most welcoming and friendly staff. Common hangout space downstairs was relaxed and the breakfasts were delicious and never left us hungry. We can warmly recommend Karolinka and will definitely come back again. Dziękuję bardzo!

We've been around Poland quite a few times and this was the best place to chill out in whole of Poland! Nice views, relaxed atmosphere and great value for a great place! Thank you for a good time! We will defenitely come again.
