Nothing to bad, all is really great (warm season) - lots greens around, close to hiking/walking trails,huge & warm breakfast, tea & coffee without limit, fine details, warm and tidy rooms, well equipped kitchen in apartment, friendly owner, PS3, boardgames, magazines to read, toys for children, hot showers, amazing views from the salon, fireplace. Poor wifi at rear building, poor & loud floor, not closing bathroom door. And everything was great. Would back definitely!

Very nice place to stay when visiting Szczyrk. New building, unfortunatelly already with some issues, such as loose steps on fancy main stairs, the bathroom door not locking or even closing, the shower door with big gaps on sides allowing water out on the floor, wifi practicaly off the range in upstairs rooms, need to go to the lounge (or common room) downstairs. Breakfast was fab, but only on the morning the owner lady was in, the previous morning, with some young lad sitting in for her - breakfast was much simplier, thou still very good. Some restricted, but still good views over the valley from common room, unfortunatelly our room no 7 faced west, so the views were really restricted to the forest line nearby. Very steep drive towards Karolinka, I would think impassable in snowy times. All issues mentioned above are just minor ones, and we really enjoyed our stay at Karolinka, thou they really need to step up their maintenance work, as without proper looking after it will quickly become a real hazard for guests.

wonderful location, great design, lovely details, perfect for a romantic hideaway. the rooms are simple with friendly atmosphere, the place is very clean and we had nice breakfast. lakes and hills are in easy reach and this little town offers tones of fun. it was a great surprise!
