Our travel agent suggested we stay at the Bristol while visiting SE Poland. We spent 3 nights here and we found it to be a very convenient and pleasant stay. Check in was fast and easy. Lobby is modern and a bit rustic as was our room. While walking on one level of the hotel from one end to the other, you have to go up a few stairs here and down a few stairs there. A bit confusing but after a few days you find your way around. We had 2 double beds in a spacious room with a basic desk and chair. Flat screen TV had CNN and BBC in English. Nice tea and coffee maker. Glass enclosed bathroom has curtains along the outside so the bedroom area can’t see in - of course the person in the bedroom area could easily adjust the curtains. Bathroom had a walk- in shower - it all had a rustic dark wood vibe - nicely done overall. Very different. Our room did not have a view - it seemed to oversee a small inside courtyard where buildings came together - but we had plenty of light coming through the window. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious and there was a great variety - scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, grilled veg, pancakes, blitzes, fruit, cereals, juices, and a nice cappuccino/coffee machine. This hotel is right on the main square, so you had easy access to restaurants’ outside seating that lined the square. Having said that, the hotel’s restaurant had THE BEST fresh pierogis I had in Poland. The “Russian pierogis” were made the hour before and came swimming in melted butter with a big dollop of sour cream. Absolutely delicious. We had had eaten in the inside restaurant the night before - food was good but not fantastic. Overall I found this hotel to be a bit different and eclectic and having a unique vibe that I really enjoyed. Simple unpretentious hotel that caters to a lot of different people.

Very safe, very good food and very nice location. The room was very well lay out, but they need more than just CNN and BBC on the TV. No clock in the room so bring your own. Walking around the court yard and outside dinner was very safe.

One of the best hotels I have visited, with a superb property, made even better due to the great hospitality and customer service. In particular, I’d like to commend Deputy GM Mateus Dudek and the Bristol restaurant’s fantastic servers, Patriciia, Anna, Nataliia, and most recently Camilla. It’s truly a pleasure to stay here and my team will most definitely return here on our next visit to this beautiful city.

I regularly stay at this hotel as well being a well travelled person. The difference for me is the level of service. This really stands out in the restaurant and bar areas. Knowledge of the meals and what can be done to accommodate different diet challenges was top shelf. This week I was with a vegan colleague and there were dishes prepared after we discussed this with the server. Anna who leads the restaurant area is highly engaged and ensures everything is as it should be. Total customer focus. All our team of 7 were impressed with her and given the global travel exposure we have it says a lot. For the rest of the hotel any specific needs are addressed quickly with no hesitation. I do agree the need to ask for "room cleaning and towels" daily is an area that should be improved. Cheers

I visited in early autumn but it was unseasonably chilly and rainy. Because my room faced the beautiful old town square, the weather was relevant because in warm seasons there would be a lot of noise coming from the outdoor cafes and restaurants below. Besides being in a beautiful location, the hotel is also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the train and bus stations. My room was large but cozy at the same time; the bathroom was roomy and updated. I appreciated the coffee maker which allowed me my morning jolt of caffeine. My one complaint is that I wasn't told about daily housekeeping being upon request only (due to -- what else? -- Covid). This should be made clear upon checking in. I returned to the hotel in the evening after having been out all day and was surprised to walk into an untidied room. Rather than relaxing after a busy day, I had to go out again or wait in the lobby for my room to be made up. As for their self-described "five-star luxury," this is obviously compared to other hotels in the area rather than to standards in large European cities.

Location is good but overall when it comes to the staff, some of the concepts of the hotel and the food, definitely NOT at the level of a 5 star. Rooms are apparently very different from eachother. The first room we were allocated had a very cold athmosphere and worse: - the king bed was just 2 materasses put together. In a 5 star we would expect one king size materas. - the toilet offers no privacy because in a bathroom surrounded with glass. The room we had 546 had no curtain inside so the curtains were difficult to pull since they were located on the outside. The second room was much better (551). the coffee amenity is still poor and no tea offer. Restaurant: the sushi place was closed. the Folk restaurant has a very strange lay out, very big and only 2 tables have a view on the square. We went for dinner and we were ask to seat anywhere we wanted although several guests were eating, we just walked around the restaurant looking for a table. Not so nice for other guests. Once seated we said hello to the waiter who did not think that answering was a good idea! He just gave us the menus and left. When he came back he just said in polish "No i?". This is quite an unprofessional way to address guests. We just left the place and dined at the Radość Restaurant (we do recommend). Breakfast: When arriving, no one hosts you. Again we had to find our table. At the buffet nothing is labeled, juices, cheffing dishes etc. There is no information that dishes can be made on order. We only saw at the end guests being served. The selection is standard to all hotels from 2 to low 4 stars. Juices are from concentrate and poor quality. There are no dietary healthy option. There is absolutely nothing special and better between this breakfast and the one we have in small 3 star hotels. Tables are not setup, we have to take our cuttlery, napkins etc from the small buffet. our dirty plates were on the side of our table for at least 15 minutes. No one thought it was a good service to clear them! Again, the attitude of the staff could be much better. Only one waitress was nice and smiley and helpful. The ome that appeared to be the head waitress did not have a nice attitude and felt we were bothering her. Both my wife and I come from a combined 24 years of working in 4 and 5 star hotels in London and Paris. We do not understand how a 5 star hotel can go so low in service and catering. We come often to Rzeszów and normally book at the B&B hotel. We wanted to try something new. This hotel offers an excellent service, a great breakfast with a variety of local jams and other products and very cosy warm rooms. Booking the Bristol was a mistake.

Stayed here 4 times before but I think next time we come to Rzeszow we’ll be trying somewhere different. To be fair we checked in really early for our 4 night stay. We were given room 333, definitely the worst we’ve had in this Hotel. The room was extremely cold and the A/C wouldn’t warm up over 19.5 degrees. Some lights not working, the view was awful and you had to stand in kind of a tin bath to have a shower. The Coffee machine didn’t work and there was no hair dryer! It’s supposed to be 5 star? We upgraded after one night to a Junior Suite, room 502. A decent view with a tiny balcony. There were no dressing gowns, no information to tell us we had to request room service!!! So we had no room service, no tea/coffee/water replacement, no clean towels. I always judge a Hotel by the quality of its towels. This is a 5 star Hotel supplying 2 star towels.......a bit cardboardy. A tile had fallen off the wall near the bathroom, we notified reception who said it would be fixed the following day, it wasn’t. Still there when we left. Breakfast is expensive here and through this Covid Virus it had to be served to you........no self service except for juices and Coffe/tea which you could get yourself. I don’t get it??? Breakfast Staff absolutely run off their feet......especially on Sunday morning. Only 2 of the 4 lifts working. Overall, we were disappointed compared to previous stays here. Will we come back? Not sure, probably give somewhere else a chance next time. The Hotel Rzeszow looks interesting.

We were staying in Rzeszów overnight before a flight and thought we'd treat ourselves to a suite at the Hotel Bristol. Upon check in, we were greeted and organised a transfer to the airport promptly. The room itself was stunning! Huge comfortable bed, massive bath tub and separate walk in shower. The mini bar was stocked well and the room was spacious to say the least. We used the main restaurant for both dinner and breakfast which was impeccable. Staff were friendly and attentive. Even when there was a mix up of breakfast being included, they dealt with it efficiently (it was). If we are ever in Rzeszów again we will definitely be going back.

I could review this hotel as if it was the 5 star hotel that it claims. I will not, because that would not be fair. (it would get the lowest score). The hotel is priced the same as other 3 star hotels in the area and I will write this review in the light of it being the 3 star hotel it actually is. The rooms are interesting and nicely designed. If you order a suite you will see that most pictures features a bath tub, how ever there are suites with out bath tubes. You will need to ask for it, if you want one. They also offer massage and SPA services. Positives + Several good restaurants in the hotel and surrounding area. + The location could not be better in Rzeszow + They have parking. Which is not easy to find in Rzeszow during the christmas shopping spree. This was a huge plus for us. + Coffee maker with "pods" in the room. A nice step up from just a water boiler. + Nice breakfast buffet with good variety, and the chefs asking if there where something else we wanted. Negatives - Room cleaning was really bad. Our suite had partial wood floor. It badly needed wiping. Same goes for the toilet floor. We missed one cleaning as our toddler had a nap. Once she woke up we put out the please clean sign and the cleaning was a 5 min job with minimal cleaning. - The room had some need for minor maintenance. Broken light, leaky water/coffee maker All in all a nice 3 star hotel with very nice interior but could use a cleaning team with floor mop.

Nice hotel and generally comfortable and clean, however we felt the staff were not all that friendly to the exception of one 2 waiters. It is not a 5 star service where you would expect staff using their initiative to ensure guests are always looked after, be attentive to guests needs... it was overall ok, but staff could have been more welcoming. The bar/pub food was poor, however the main restaurant’ food was absolutely fantastic! Our compliments to the chef. We made sure we were back in time the second evening to sample another dish from the menu. Superb meal!
