Grotesque is about 20 metres from the main square in Rzeszow. For the location this place was about half the price of the other hotels. The waitress/ receptionist was really friendly and when my limited Polish ran out it emerged she spoke excellent English. The rooms are a decent size, well decorated and clean. We ate lunch here and the food was traditional Polish, with hearty portions at a low price.
You should be aware that this is less of a hotel and more of a restaurant with 3-4 rooms above it. There are no staff before lunchtime (there is a tourist info on the other side of the square for enquiries) and breakfast is put in your fridge the night before. In fairness it is a huge plate of meats, cheese, bread, salad and a few yoghurts, but there is something odd about eating in your room. None of this bothered us at all, just feel i should point it out in case it might make a difference to anyone else. More
