The hotel itself is very nicely situated, close to shops, restaurants and the airport is only a 10 min drive away. Throughout our stay the staff were amazing. I was particularly impressed with Mateusz, Magda and the reception staff who handled every request with incredible attention to detail and dedication. The hotel is very reasonably priced and represents VfM. I found the rooms to be clean, tidy and spacious. There was a wide variety of choice available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of which were hot, plentiful and tasty. Some of the facilities such as the gym could be better, however every effort was made to accommodate our needs. I will definitely be staying again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stayed there in 2016 while on a tour of Poland. Was a great stop. Excellent rooms, great staff. Great food and friendly bar. Close to everything. Would go back in a heartbeat. Would go back in a heartbeat.
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights back in Feb 2020 with my partner. The hotel is right in the city centre, and is a stones through away from the main square and walking street. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive and helped out with any questions that we had, and helped us book a taxi to collect us and drop us off at the airport which is only about 15 mins drive away. The hotel entrance is welcoming and warming and you are taken back by the small touches. The room itself was very private and a good size, with very comfortable beds and quality bedding. My partner was working from home at the time, and the room came with full internet, a desk and a PC chair which was really useful and the internet connection was great. A Japanese toilet system as well and a clear see through shower. The hotel also offered a spa and swimming pool / Gym which was free to use during our stay and really nice in the winter. The pool was warm and the sauna and steam room were always heated and regularly cleaned.…
The hotel is only 1 km from the railway station, and 2 minutes from the old market square. I was lucky to get a room with a balcony (There are very few rooms like this) I had a standard room so it was not too big, but big enough. In the evening the meals at the patio are tasty and well presented. The live piano music is a plus also. The WiFi was very bad, a weak connection in the room and sometimes not even that. Downstairs, the WiFi was good, but for a 4 star hotel, the connection in the room should be good as well. Individually adjustable airconditioning, which is great. Only it shouldn't be turned off by the hotel during the night. Everything is clean and okay, but in a few years the hotel will need to refurbish the whole thing if it wants to stay "grand". If you don't want the breakfast buffet, the smaller restaurant offers you different breakfast options and a great lunch menu.…
I am visiting this hotel for second time in the last few years. Everything there is perfectly arranged from the welcoming on the reception to the farewell on the car parking. Beautiful rooms and good breakfast! And the prices of the accommodation are unbelievably low. The hotel is perfectly located on the old city center. It is nice to walk around!
Ultra elegant hotel with a galleried atrium that immediately creates an atmosphere of elegance and luxury. “The Grand” is strikingly attractive and superbly located. We had some initial checking in teething problems with twin-bed rather than double bedroom allocation as requested. However we were spontaneously offered a double room with its own sauna. But repeated attempts- including two visits by hotel staff – failed to get it to work. Disappointing in a hotel of this 4 star caliber. Rooms are extremely chic, comfortable and tastefully furnished; marbled bathroom well supplied with towels and cosmetics. The overall atmosphere one of gracious elegance. The luxurious ground floor lounges and the avant garde horseshoe bar are two big attractions. The hotel itself is a delightful oasis of comfort perfectly located between the Rynek Main Square and Rzeszow’s pedestrianized shopping streets. The hotel’s café opening onto the pedestrianized Tadeusza Kosciuszki is a delightful place to spend time having a coffee and watching the world go by. The breakfast room overlooks the main glass domed vaulted atrium-co; it provides a really great selection of hot and cold buffet choices, including some delightful Polish specialties. The rate for double room with breakfast for two of €78 was good value for money in such an attractive, historic Polish City. Would certainly recommend the hotel and will return the next time we are in the city.…
Excellent hotel, centrally located, close to central Old Town Square. Boutique hotel, each room is unique and decorated differently. Glass-made bath room. Friendly and helpful reception service, Kinga Koryl very professional and helpful . The breakfast buffet is limited on weekends because no eggs are ordered from the kitchen, during the week breakfast is fresh and delicious.
Our third visit to the Grand Hotel. Two years ago we booked a Standard Room and loved it. Last year we booked a Delux room and really enjoyed that larger room also. This year we booked a Studio for the extra room and a sauna, we were travelling for a wedding and wanted to treat ourselves. On arrival we were given room 522 - we went to the room to find it the same spec as the Standard we had booked two years ago. I phoned the receptionist to ask whether this really was a Studio? I was told "Yes, this is a Studio room". After checking the hotel's webpage I was certain that we'd been given the wrong room, so again I phoned and this time asked to speak to the manager. I was prevented from speaking with a manager, and eventually the receptionist sent a porter with a selection of other room keys. The first we were shown to (412) was a big bedroom with separate living area, and (you guessed it!) a sauna. So this was a Studio! Though we'd spent time we could have spent with family at the wedding arguing over the room! So it gets a rating of one Bec cause of either arrogance (accepting a Studio booking but allocating a Standard room) or dishonesty (telling me that room 522 was a studio when obviously it wasn't!). Treat your guests with respect - however nice the hotel. And this is a real shame because it's a nice hotel, but a special wedding trip was spoiled, and we are unlikely to return when we next visit Rzeszow to visit with family. …
Stayed here recently while on a business trip, stayed in room on the third floor at the front of the hotel, nice proportioned room with plenty space, really near the market square. Small but adequate fitness area, nice pool. Music on offer most evenings although bar closed early. Staff were very pleasant and attentive Would definitely stay here again
I moved from a nice little hotel to this one to be in the City Center but i have downgraded myself in respect to Staff and breakfast. Staff walk around with very long faces and not very friendly at all Breakfast is Limited and space for seating Limited. And when it comes to Tea and Coffee in the room they are very mean only 2 teabags or 2 coffee if its 1 night ok if more they want you to pay for them. Looks like it poss has a Minibar or fridge which is locked. Total lack of info on anything in the Rooms also Plus points Bed Comfortable Nice Big TV Heated toilet seat Your staff are letting you down.
