Galician Inn consists of climate guest rooms that are located in an unusual place - the Galician Town in Nowy Sacz. The buildings here are faithfully reproduced from the provincial Galician development deriving from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, therefore the moments spent here will become a real time journey to the Austro-Hungarian province of past years. We offer 17 rooms, all decorated in the standard 3-star hotel. So if you plan to leave for the Sadecki District - Galician Inn is the perfect place to relax, and with a great location in the capital of the region it makes it a great base to explore the area.

A stylish place with a unique climate. The only drawback are the weddings organized in a nearby restaurant - the beats of music were audible in our room. Good food, nice Ladies at the reception, tasty breakfast.

Stopped in on Saturday to discover it was free that day. Just as well. As interesting as the buildings each are, often with signs and a guide waiting to welcome us with details, there were too few buildings to make it a really living center of a thriving townlet. But each building was special and interesting. And something is better than nothing. On the other hand, the open-air village next door was wonderfully done.

This was our first and top choice, when we decided to travel to Nowy Sącz. All photos we seen were showing a place built ecpecially for us: good standart accommodation in a open air museum. What more cn you expect. The reality wasn't so great. We got there quite late, during Christmas time it was already dark. Couldn't find the way in, as the main gate is only for foot visitors. The vehicle access gate wasn't marked with anything. It took us a while to get security guy to open that gate. Reception is in biggest building in the open air museum, but cleverly located at the back of that building... Finnally got keys to our room, only to find its standard was more of hostels or tourist accommodation, when we were expecting more, seen all those great photos. There's a restaurant in separate building, in a shape of old inn. But when we wanted to have our evening meal - it turned out it was closed for wedding reception, so we had to go to Nowy Sącz centre to find some other place to dine - and it wasn't easy on Boxing Day. But next day morning we had our breakfast in that inn, and it was really delicious. Don't get me wrong - this place isn't bad, and I do not exclude that we will visit that place again. It was just much below our high expectations.

This place is OK for 1-2 overnights. It's outside town; situated by the Ethnografic Park and Skansen of Nowy Sacz in a reconstructed XIXth century lovely village. Quite deserted in the late season. Rooms are a bit "spartiate", but really quiet. Ladies staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast provided. Good restaurant as well. Free parking inside the place. Nightwatch 7/7

I loved my stay at this unusual hotel. It is located within the grounds of a reconstructed Galician village that is part of the Nowy Sacz ethnographic park. The park itself is well worth a visit, offering a glimpse into the bygone life of the region, sort of a Galician version of Sturbridge Village. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. In addition, parking is easy, and food at the village café is good. Overall a great stay!
