Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and tidy and I loved the fact that you can open the windows! Restaurant has a good selection of food and was well prepared and presented. Highly recommended.
Hotel is very nice and deserves a better care in some aspects. Building outside is beautiful, historical and well renovated. Internally is OK, with good-size rooms (small bathrooms), SPA is pretty even if not very large. Service is OK however approach can be more pro-active; breakfast is sufficient but not many int'l dishes are available. Dining at restaurant is a good option, just make sure to check the timetable as kitchen closes early than expected. Overall is a good solution, just a higher level of attention and service is required.
The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous grounds. There’s even a golf course nearby. The hotel accommodated our group with a delicious late meal upon arrival. The breakfast was very disappointing. The service was sparse and there was no food. Deb
I like Heritage Hotels for their interiors, but this one dissapoints in that regard. Outside it's absolutely beautiful (though the backyard is not really interesting), inside... Well, it's just the hotel, no real "vibe" of the place. Three floors, but the elevator reaches only second floor, may be a huge problem for older people or those with small kids. No AC, which is completely understandable, as it is the historical place, portable AC machine provided, though it did not work properly. Huuuuuge bathroom. I was incredibly disappointed by the breakfast. There was a big German group leaving the hotel before us and there was almost nothing left. I'd say this is normal, but the staff wasn't doing much to replace the food, I had to ask them to bring the plates and cutlery. No coffee available in the dining area, you had to literally "hunt" the waiter to get some. Stale bread... :/…
I was impressed from the first date by this heritage hotel. Marvelous design, a place that brings tranquility out of your mind! Love to be here, very well organized and in a very good spot. Surely recommended.
It is a beautiful place in a small city. Nothing to do around except Silesia Ring to go on track. Palace is a very beautiful from outside. Inside could be a bit better. Rooms are cozy and ok - expected a little more. Cuisine is extraordinary so do not forget to eat a dinner a la carte there.
Place at first glance drowns traveler attention since renewed palace looks really good. Unfortunately back yard does not looks impressive anymore. Hotels interiors are nice but without care for details. However I'm own to give full honours to investment company who brings this historical heritage back to great shape from ruin. Stay at hotel on 23 August and been disapointed with diner quality. I have order 3 course diner ( soup, main and dessert ). My expectations was huge since restaurant have positive recommendation from Gault&Millau ( kitchen chef cap). Unfortunately all courses was not good by my taste. Hotel rooms are large enough (even standard one). Hotel is surrounded by few hospitals including mentally ill one.
We arrived late and booked a double room. Considering the reputation and standard it is what was expected. However, we had two beds pushed together as a double. This was misleading. It was not a double at all, but we were tired. We stayed in room 110 it's above the entrance doors to the right as you approach the doors. In the morning people were smoking and talking almost immediately below your window. We don not smoke therefore it was a little uncomfortable. These are the little, but significant things hotels forget. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was reasonable. Although our experience was not as We had expected, or hoped for.
Lubliniec is a renovated thirteenth century castle offering 45 rooms. It’s one of Poland’s Heritage Hotels featuring a boutique SPA and one of the best restaurants in the Silesia area. The location 30 km from Częstochowa is a good starting point to visit the Church of Our Lady (UNESCO listed) but there are other opportunities available like horseback riding, tennis course, mushroom picking etc. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but the thick walls provide a pleasant temperature. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bathrooms.
From first turning into the driveway, this hotel is a special place. It's an impressive Heritage Hotel and has been carefully restored and renovated to deliver 21st Century comfort. Reception is friendly, efficient and very helpful with information. Rooms are spacious with modern en suite bathrooms. The restaurant food is excellent and service very good. Staff all speak English and likely other languages as well. There was no fridge or coffee making facility in our room but coffee/tea and treats are a available either in the lounge or can be enjoyed in the garden. It is quiet so sleep quality is excellent. Breakfast buffet is generous with good choice as well as select your hot option. The Scrambled eggs are very good. Thoroughly enjoyed being "royalty" for the night.
