The hotel restaurant Mozaika serves delicious dishes, and the staff is very nice - in particular the ladies from the reception were very helpful to us , thank you !
We payed extra for room and our double bed came with 2 single covers which was number 1
Number 2 ordering food I asked if I could change the mash potatoes with chips or potatoes and they refused when I was gonna order lamb chops and the meal cost 160zl for 1 meal and they couldn’t even make that small change
I wouldn’t be going there again,
Good points the reception staff and the waitress was very nice people
Main problems with the hotel:
- Very thin walls. You can basically hear everything: hairdryer next door / people walking on the corridor. We had a group of kids/young teenagers staying at the same and it was just a nightmare. Having spoken to the reception about this, seems like this hotel is popular among schools/ organised tours due to the price so please expect similar issues during your stay
- Horrible breakfast (or none). - We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights and they only had few people staying in the hotel over the first 2 days therefore there was no hot food at breakfast and NO TOAST( !!). They have a very old coffee machine (horrible coffee) and food is below acceptable. Breakfast was similar to what you would expect to get when staying in the cheap hostel in London
- Extremely uncomfortable beds - Worse than travel lodge
- Bad service - I suppose what made this experience so bad for us was very bad service at reception. They acknowledged problems we encountered but nothing was done about it:
-No hot breakfast/toast - sorry hotel is quiet no-one in the kitchen
- Our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days - sorry we didn't know we will clean it tomorrow
- We had a power cut one day for around 20 minutes - Sorry we will let you know when power is back on (!!??)
I know some people enjoyed staying at this hotel, but if you decide to book it be aware that your stay might happen over the ' quiet' period and in that case don't expect to get breakfast, have your room cleaned etc.
On our last day, we came down to the reception to hand our key back and all we got was ' ok, bye' (!!?).
To summarize: This hotel is definitely not what is seems on their website and if you have a choice you can easily get a better hotel closer to the city centre.
The hotel website is also very misleading!!! The rooms showed in the website are only on the first floor. The rest of the floors look different to the pictures on the website, so please beware.
In conclusion, I highly doubt that this hotel is a four-star one. At most, maybe a 2 star. Maybe if every other hotel is booked then go to this one. Otherwise, please go somewhere else!
Great staff, with the will to give the guest a top class experience! Helpful and very polite!
Great, cozy rooms, clean, modern and fresh!
Had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, and they were fabulous!
We will DEFINITELY stay here at our next visit in Krakow!
"Rooms at back of hotel very quiet. Rooms large and spacious. Rooms at front face busy main road could be noisy in rush hour."Read full review
