I booked this apartment for 4 nights for a trip with my son. From the start the communication was good and prompt. We needed 2 beds and didn't want to have to convert the sofa bed, we were offered an apartment that exactly fitted our requirements. We also used the option of a transfer from Krakow airport, the driver was waiting for us when we landed, brought the car around to the pick-up area and told us a little about Krakow. Worked fine, though the driving style would be too rapid for many. The apartment was on the 3rd floor and consisted of a very large bedroom, decent shower room and a kitchen/dining/living area. Entrance from the street and to the apartment is by a keypad (the codes had been sent to us the day we arrived). All very clean, enough crockery etc. for 4 people. There was a washing machine, 4 burner hob and oven, a microwave, electric kettle and iron and ironing board. Free wifi is available and worked fine, the t.v. is in the bedroom, though we never managed to get it to work but this didn't really bother us. Only 1 bath and 1 hand towel is an oversight for 2 people. Thoughtfully, 2 bottles of water, tea bags, coffee sachets, washing-up liquid, cooking oil, hand soap and toilet rolls was provided. Easily roomy enough for two, very quiet apart from our squeaky parquet flooring in the bedroom and no noise disturbance from other apartments. There is no lift, ok for us, but if you have trouble with stairs its worth checking suitability. Finally, the area - quiet street, you hear a few emergency vehicles (ambulances I think, as there is a hospital further along the street) but close to a main thoroughfare, with buses and trams (great for getting around). Within a few minutes walk there is an authentic Milk Bar (used it for breakfast), the famous Kielbasa van, a great baked potato outlet, mini markets and a general market. Feels less touristy than many areas but enough tourists so you don't feel out of place. All this and about 15 minutes walk to the old town or Kazimierz. I will happily use again and hope to before too long.…
Fantastic nice and new renovated appartment near Krakow center. Walking distance from historical monument (500m), a Big shoppingcenter (500 m) and marked areas (100 m) Recommendable for families af five or less.
These apartments were in a brilliant location, in the middle of the Jewish quarter and the main square so within easy walking distance to both (about 10-15 minutes) and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment had a kitchen/living area, bedroom and bathroom. The windows literally blocked out all exterior noise which was definitely needed near the busy roads. The bed was amazing!!!! I could have slept in there for my whole trip, it was so comfy! The shower was a little bit temperamental, sometimes hot, sometimes not, sometimes pointing left, sometimes right! But it was useable and towels and a hairdryer are provided, although the basic toiletries aren't. Although I really liked these apartments, after returning home, I have found that the price I booked the room for was not what I paid. I was charged around £15-£20 more when I paid on arrival which I was understandably not happy about as I think that they are quite expensive apartments anyway for a stay in Krakow so I expected a bit more for my money, never mind after being charged an extra few quid...…
