We stayed at the Hotel Alexander II for four nights in mid-August. Location-wise, the hotel is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, around 10/15 minutes walk away from the Main Square. The Hotel has excellent tram connections less than 5 minutes walk away for those venturing further away from the city centre. The main train station and a... More

So grateful to the staff here. My mam was stranded alone in Poland as her passport was stolen. She was very scared and we were worried back home. The staff here were so lovely and kind to her and even communicated with me via email to let me know she was safe and to pass documents to her. I know... More

Great hotel if you are on business trip. Close to train station, shopping mall and city centre. Just do not forget ear plugs, trains can be really noisy at night and day. Wi-fi is quite poor on top floor, Reception staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. I would recommend for short stay (max 2-3... More

Accompanied 50 students on a trip to Kraków, staying here. Rooms absolutely excellent. We were the only school which is always good. Food good (obviously teenagers don't appreciate how good!) served in a subterranean dining room which is spotless but decorated more as a kitchen diner than a restaurant. If you are traveling as a couple or family, don't be... More

First impressions not very good. Down a dark dingy street did not look very welcoming and had to press bell to gain entry. Our room was on top floor. Only windows were in roof. It was clean and fairly stylish and had a large bed. The only drawback was the adjacent railway track which meant you could not have windows... More

Came for a 2 night break at end of June, room good, good shower, breakfast good enough, down a quiet curl de sac train line at the back but I slept like a log, that could have been the strong polish lager and vodka though, all attractions walking distance, Jewish quarter 5 minutes in taxi . Great place to stay... More

Nice hotel just next to the train station! The breakfast was really nice and tasteful! With the hotel it's possible to book excursion ( auschwizt or the salt mines) but if u go in the info point in the main square u can find em cheaper!!

Staff at reception was typically polish, not so customer friendly. You get the feeling of bothering them at work. The cleaning staff and the girls at breakfast was much friendlier :) Clean and good size rooms. Good bed. Some noise and vibration from trains passing by just 20 metres from building. Street parking (be sure to have lots of coins,... More
