So I visited Krakow last winter, and stayed here 5 night with my brother. We chose this place because of its location, its close proximity to the main square, this place was literally a 15 minute walk away from most anywhere we wanted to go. The complementary breakfast exceeded our expectations, we were grateful for the water coolers available in... More

Before travelling we arranged for the manager to organise a taxi to collect us from the airport which went smoothly and was very reasonably priced. The hotel was situated in a brilliant location with a 5 minute walk in to the heart of the old town. During our stay the staff continued to be exceptionally helpful and were always happy... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our stay in Poland. The rooms were big, with air con facilities. The staff were average not overly friendly but did the job. The rooms got cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every day. The breakfast was quite limited I found but I did find something to have every morning. The... More

This hotel is well placed for exploring Krakow, only a few hundred yards from the main railway station, there is a bit of noise from the railway line which runs along side, but the trains don't seem to run during the night. The breakfast buffet is very well provided , and for about 80p you can pack from the buffet... More

We stayed at the Hotel Alexander II for four nights in mid-August. Location-wise, the hotel is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, around 10/15 minutes walk away from the Main Square. The Hotel has excellent tram connections less than 5 minutes walk away for those venturing further away from the city centre. The main train station and a... More

So grateful to the staff here. My mam was stranded alone in Poland as her passport was stolen. She was very scared and we were worried back home. The staff here were so lovely and kind to her and even communicated with me via email to let me know she was safe and to pass documents to her. I know... More

Great hotel if you are on business trip. Close to train station, shopping mall and city centre. Just do not forget ear plugs, trains can be really noisy at night and day. Wi-fi is quite poor on top floor, Reception staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. I would recommend for short stay (max 2-3... More

Accompanied 50 students on a trip to Kraków, staying here. Rooms absolutely excellent. We were the only school which is always good. Food good (obviously teenagers don't appreciate how good!) served in a subterranean dining room which is spotless but decorated more as a kitchen diner than a restaurant. If you are traveling as a couple or family, don't be... More
