We just couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in, it is just next to the Jewish Quarter where there are lots of Jewish and Polish Restaurants and it is just three Tram Stops from The Main Square. It's not a large Hotel, but It is spotlessly clean and the Staff are amazing. We were checked in by Izabela who was very helpful and gave us lots of useful local information. If you haven't already booked your Excursions, they can be booked through Reception. Our night Porter was Marian ("Yes" he said, "I know it's a girls name in English") he was extremely well educated and has a wicked sense of humour, but don't let him play British Patriotic Songs on the Restaurant TV, they were Irish Rebel songs, but I'm sure he knew that. During our short stay Our friends celebrated their Wedding Anniversary and Marian went out of his way to buy them a box of lovely chocolates. We were also allowed to drink our own alcohol in the Dining area although I'm not sure that's the norm. All in all it cost £55.00 a night which included a very substantial Breakfast. A super Hotel with Super Staff, I would not hesitate to use it again.

We visited Krakow for 4 days at the beginning of March 2020. We had booked the trip through Love Holidays and they came up with this Hotel. I looked at the comments, location and price and decided to book it.
Well what a great choice I made. Location is excellent situated just a minute away from the nearest Tram stop which will take you towards the Main Square, Castle or down over the river to see the Schindler Museum. (or walking about 15 mins to Main Square). So that's transport taken care of, next bars and restaurants, again within a few minutes there are some great bars and wonderful restaurants that won't break the bank, even a Michelin star restaurant. We also sampled the brilliant Spice of Life Indian restaurant just across the road from the hotel. Just a few minutes away down the road are several cafes and cake shops. So that's the food taken care of.
So what is the Hotel really like inside. Well we were allocated room 24 , it was a lovely large room, King size bed with en suite facilities all looking rather new or newly decorated. Reception was excellent and all the staff spoke good English, we stayed B & B and I have to say the breakfast was really good, all the usual food of a European hotel but with extras such as Bacon, Egg and Sausage and a toaster ! The helpful staff on reception gave us some good information about which Tram to catch and even after I left my walking stick in the room by accident they have sent it back to me by post. I really recommend this hotel if you are visiting Krakow, I simply cannot fault it.

We stayed for four nights over the New Year and this hotel is right next to the Jewish quarter and only 15 minutes walk from the main square in the centre of the city. The rooms whilst they describe as double were of a really good size and certainly bigger than we expected. Housekeeping was of a very good standard. Breakfast was more than sufficient with fruit, cereal, yoghurts, bread and there was bacon and scrambled eggs each day. We had a room on the front of the street and whilst had read previous reports about noise, in our opinion the noise of the trams in particular was not an issue. Probably for us it would have been nice to have tea/coffee in the room and maybe something the hotel should think about for the future. The hotel was more than adequate for our stay and I wouldn't look any further if I returned to Krakow

We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. Lovely well-furnished room, ultra clean. The mini bar was stocked with everything you could imagine and prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was really nice with a selection of cold meats and cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, bacon and scrammbled eggs. The quality of the food provided was excellent. There are quite a few restaurants in the area and as we used the public transport we were happy that the tram stop was right outside. The staff could not have been more helpful. I booked this hotel based on quality for money and good reviews. We have had first-hand experience that the excellent reviews were well deserved. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Small hotel but don't let that put you off. The rooms and beds were generous. It was warm and clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful (all you need to do is ask). The breakfast room had enough choice for everyone (cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bread, cakes, fruit juice, tea and coffee). There was bottled water in your room and you could ask for more if you wanted it. The only thing we could have done with was a kettle to make a hot drink, but I asked at Reception one afternoon and they made me a cup of tea.

Stayed for a long weekend at the end of February
Hotel is in a good location and only a short walk to main centre
Upon arrival was greeted by a very friendly lady at reception, all information regarding trips we had booked was presented at check-in
Rooms are basic but very clean, no kettle in room which was a disappointment.
Breakfast was good with a good selection.
Check out was at 12 but there is a secure room to leave baggage if like us your pick up is later in the day.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay and would return

We stayed here for the first time for my birthday weekend,it was however our fourth visit to Krakow.
Really lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff.
Our room was big, clean and comfortable.
It’s location is good with a nice walk from the hotel to the main square,in the past we have stayed in the square but actually enjoyed the extra exercise.
Breakfast was good and plenty of it too.
Whilst we were there we did have a lovely take away but had it in our room, speaking to other guests the next morning they said the staff allowed them to eat in the breakfast room which was brilliant, they were very accommodating in this strange time where the restaurants and bars were closed.
The only thing we missed having was a kettle in our room so we could have hot drinks.
The reception staff were brilliant, booking us a taxi to the airport as we could no longer take the train.
Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travellers.
Was sad to see Krakow so quiet, hope things get back to some sort of normal soon and tourism back to this usually bustling city.

We visited Hotel Columbus in December after having our earlier trip cancelled by the airline. I informed the hotel immediately and as I had booked a non refundable room I thought that was it but the hotel very kindly honoured my booking for 12 months which I was extremely grateful for.
On our arrival we were welcomed by the reception staff, given all the information we needed and more to navigate around the Jewish quarter and in to the main square which is about a 10min walk.
The hotel itself is very clean with room service everyday, New towels and bedding.
There is a small fridge to use for free as are the safe boxes.
The hotel also supply complimentary water bottles daily.
As already stated the hotel is a prime spot to stay around the Jewish quarter but is an easy walk to the castle, Main square and various placed of interest with the tram stop right at the front door.
The breakfast was great. It is mainly continental with a vast selection of meats, cheese, salads and cereals along with fresh Jam and marmalade as well as breads and fruit. There was always a warm selection also of Eggs, Bacon and various sausages.
I would highly recommend this for first timers if not experienced travellers as it is warm, friendly, clean and comfy what more is needed?

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our Christmas city break to Krakow, we stayed for 5 nights with bed & breakfast included which had a good variety of food and fruit juices. We were really happy with the location of the hotel, nothing more than a 15 minute walk to the Main Market Square and a short walk to the historic Jewish quarter, it was a really great base for exploring the city. The staff were fantastic and our room was cleaned daily and replenished with bottled water (both still and sparkling). During our stay we were also celebrating my birthday and the staff decorated our room with balloons and provided a bottle of wine on arrival which was a really nice touch! We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a city break to Krakow.

One thing to consider is that the hotel is located on a main road for the trams which run quite late but this wasn’t a major issue for us!

We came back for a second visit. Fantastic prices. The bed was wonderful, fluffy duvet and pillows a great place to rest. The bathroom has everything you need and the room was great. We stayed at the front and loved hearing the very comforting ring of the tram bells. Hotel staff kind and courteous especially the lady clearing away and keeping an eye on our needs in the dining room. All the reception staff were very helpful. Great visit. I expect that we will come back.Thanks.
