We stayed for 2 nights and have no thoughts with this place! Great location and lovely room would definitely stay again! Clean, quiet, good location and great value for money! We come as a couple was perfect!
Enjoyed our stay this week, nice apartment with everything you need. Don’t bother booking breakfast,we couldn’t find the cafe it’s served at! On arriving too, during snow at 12.15pm we were told over the intercom we couldn’t drop off our bags and wouldn’t be allowed in at all until 2pm,which wasn’t good, could have at least let us drop off heavy bags, there’s plenty of room. Once in it was fine. Clean and tidy, could’ve done with more heat but can’t increase it yourself! I noticed air con which is good for summer visits,I’m not sure if you pay extra,I should imagine you will as they were so anal about the heat! Duffys bar 50m away,Perry’s steakhouse 75m the other way, both well worth a visit. Tram 10 away. Be careful at night for taxi back from old town, they’ll rip you off,get a price first, anymore than 20zl walk away.Would’ve given 5 stars except for never seeing the staff face to face and the heating and lack of welcome. Would return…
This is an unstaffed establishment, you use the intercom to speak to someone at the Spatz Hotel nearby, they buzz you in then you speak on the phone and get the key safe code to your room. Be warned there is no lift and lots of stairs. Our room was a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. There is a small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. Extra tea and coffee can be found in a huge glass bowl on the landing. There is a key card to switch the electricity on, unfortunately the fridge goes off once the card is removed, fine in winter but must be a pain in summer. Shower room is compact but well appointed, towels and toiletries are provided. The toilet has been fitted unusually high off the floor which I found rather uncomfortable. Breakfast was served at the Spatz Hotel about 10 minutes walk away. On our final day we were able to leave our luggage there and the staff ordered a taxi to the airport for us. The walk to the main square was only about 15 minutes but it's a boring and messy walk as there are lots of building and road works. However, there are several nice restaurants and bars within a five minute walk of the hotel so we made use of these in the evenings. The hotel is in a quiet street so we had no issues with tram or traffic noise.…
Had a great stay at the Armon Residence.Very clean and central. Loved the nearby restaurants and bars ,minutes away.We were glad we stayed in the Jewish Quarter as it was very interesting and a nice atmosphere of an evening.
Great location for the Jewish quarter. It’s not too far to walk to the main square or other areas too. Nice room. Cleaning throughout our stay could have been better and it was very dusty under the sofa/chairs and in some corners where clearly it hadn’t been swept properly for a long time. Overall the apartment was clean, but could have been better, beds and bathroom were clean and that’s the main thing. We were only supplied with one toilet roll throughout our trip and there was no mention before hand that we would have to get our own, so be prepared for that. The shower was lovely! I do recommend these apartments to stay in Krakow as the location is great.
Very good location, nice area close to restaurants and guarded parking just beside the property! Aircon was appreciated as very hot weather, quiet room even though a bar as neighbour, room nice and clean.
This is more like an apartment building converted into several rooms. Pros: - Located in Jewish district close to the old Synagogue and good food. - You can walk to most of the attractions that you would want to see. - If you're renting a car, there is a paid parking lot within a block of the hotel. That was convenient for us when dealing with luggage. - Staff on the phone was friendly (no staff at the location). - Lots of food options nearby. - Easy location to get in and out of the city. - It was quiet despite there being a food truck court right below. - Great price. Cons: - You have to insert your room key-card into a reader on the wall to use the electricity. So, when you're gone, you can't run the AC. This probably wouldn't be an issue normally, but it unusually hot when we traveled there. The fridge will stay on when you leave. - Very small room - at least ours was, but again, we were just there to sleep and shower. - No breakfast on location. You have to find a restaurant. There is one located maybe 1/2 a mile away that caters to this hotel and is included in your room purchase. Make sure you ask about that if they don't mention it. - No elevator that I'm aware of and no rooms on the ground floor. - The bathroom had the orange mold in the shower and the water didn't want to drain properly all the time. - If you're short, you may need a stepstool to use the potty. This was a unique experience. For us, we just wanted a comfortable, safe and quiet place to sleep. This place provided that. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention but it wasn't awful. There weren't any sheets either that you pull over you, but I understand that that is common. If for some reason I ever had to visit Krakow again, I would stay here if there wasn't something different for a similar price.…
I recently stayed at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. There was a nice bathroom with toiletries provided. There was also a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. All the rooms had stairs going to them but there was no lift. The residence is actually an annex to another hotel near by.The reception is operated remotely by dialling a number. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we're not actually on the premises. Breakfast was also provided at the other hotel, a 5 to 10 minute walk away. The breakfasts were very good.
We loved it here we found it clean, quiet. Easy to use and near a fab local square with great restaurants and atmosphere. Myself and my daughter enjoyed our stay immensely. We visited Auschwitz on a guided tour very moving experience with an amazing guide. Salt Mines great trip (a lot of stairs but going down not up). Wonderful churches, Wawel Castle, a very moving and enjoyable few days. The Armon Residence uses Breakfast facilities at the Aparthotel Spatz five minutes walk away which provided a good choice of food. It is in the Jewish Quarter a Bohemian and quirky area with much history and sites to see and some very nice people.
Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for a short holiday, nice clean room friendly staff, downside three flights of stairs to get to our room as no lift not suitable for people with walking difficulties, no minibar , no bathrobe as stated in advert , sugar not replenished all week had to purchase our own, enjoyed our few days in krakow visiting the wife’s uncles war grave was main reason for our visit ,shame the apartment didn’t come up to expectations
