Overall I was really impressed with this hotel. Location was perfect as literally right next to the square. The rooms were clean, had a great layout and good amenities. The staff were also helpful and friendly. On arrival we was provided with a map and advice on where things were. When checking out they were patient in us being slightly late. The building it’s in is very nice. We had two rooms of four people in each and there was plenty of space with the unique two floor style. One thing we wasn’t aware of was how we had to pay a 300 Zloty deposit each for having a large group staying, but this was no bother as you get this back as we did as long as you take good care of the rooms. So not a problem but perhaps should be mentioned on here. Overall though me and my friends would like to thank you for a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Krakow.

Very convenient location of the hotel! Nearby is Krakow's market square and all the main attractions. Good value for money! We checked in using the codes that the hotel owner sent in a timely manner. There were no problems. The only inconvenience, one might say, was finding the nearest parking. Thanks to the hotel owner who sent links to several different parking lots nearby. But 20 euros per day for parking is still too much.

The hotel is in a beautiful place, very close to many restaurants and monuments. Service at a very high level. The receptionist is very polite, with an individual and professional approach to the guest. Rooms clean and well-equipped. I recommend everyone to stay in this amazing place.

The location is just excellent and quality of the rooms very satisfying. However, be very careful with the owner and ALL terms of reservation, especially with requested deposits.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights with a group of 13 persons. We had booked two rooms, for 6 and 8 persons separately. However, when arriving the owner couldn't offer us the rooms booked but gave us rooms for 8, 4 and 2 persons instead, which was not what was booked and not what we wanted.

When leaving the hotel, the owner checked the rooms with us and blamed that there was a "bend" in one of the curtains. Due to this he charged 86€ from the pre-paid deposit (what was not mentioned in reservation terms at all). When later on I asked for clarification of the damage in the curtain and a dated receipt of the costs for buying new curtain, the owner was only able to provide a picture of a "new" curtain in a room that couldn't even be identified. I did ask for a dated receipt several times to prove that there really was a need to change the curtain, but never got a reply.

The owner was very rude and disrespectful in all the communication we had with him starting with not providing us the rooms we had booked. We also lost 86€ extra money taken from the additional deposit. I am strongly advising all the visitors to carefully take pictures and videos of your rooms in the beginning and also to challnege if there was anything mentioned of requested deposit in the reservation terms.

I would highly recommend these apartments they are spotlessly clean and modern and in a great location. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and it had 2 bathrooms which was perfect for our girls trip. They are situated right beside the square so are in walking distance to plenty of restaurants shops and bars

Not suggested, was met with disrespect and rude reception. I booked with Hotels.com for 3 person and they tried to charge us extra. They even said cancel hotels.com and book with him! I ended up canceling and going to a much better hotel. If you don’t want complications I personally wouldn’t suggest this place

Dear Sir, it seems that you are travelling arround the world with another two people using a gap in one of the reservations systems and in aggressive way forcing the receptionists to accept your rules. Reservation (and the price) was made for double bed room, the extra bed (sofa bed) is always paid additionally. If in the system is not possible to make a stay for a thirt perosn it does not mean it is for free.

Lovely apartment. Functional and spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful. We were away with two teens and I felt safe leaving them in apartment.

However, there isn’t an elevator. If you struggle with stairs, I’d check beforehand.

Spacious, well decorated bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Situated only 2 minutes from the old town square, not easy to find - as the sign is very small. Not sure I would call this an aparthotel - as there is no bar or restaurant. The entrance hall is a little sparse. I did not see any staff whilst I was there - there is a telephone at reception to call for assistance. I would definitely stay at the Rembrandt again, very clean and lots of space!

Help, I am very confused about the money situation. Is it Polish Zloty it Euros ?
Answer from lutzjoe
Bellmawr, New Jersey9 contributions4 helpful votes
If you are using your credit card to pay at the hotel, you can use your local currency or Polish Złoty. All of the nearby establishments tend to have the same policy, as the area is very heavily visited by tourists. There are also many "Kantor's" or Currency Exchange shops in the area as well. From what I've seen, they all tend to offer similar rates for exchange, just don't use the ones at the airport unless you really need to. Personally, I tend to just withdraw local currency using an ATM machine. I use a bank that has a very minimal international transaction fee (1%) and find that to be the most effective means for me to have local currency to spend. Best of luck!

Hi how much is the cost of the trip to Auschwitz booked throught the hotel. Many thank. Carmel
Answer from Richard W

HI Carmel Its difficult to say as Remek would not take any money from us until the end of the holiday, To give you an idea, the bill per person (5 of us) for a 3-bedroom apartment for a week, transfers to and from the airport, transport and entrance to Aushwitz and the Salt Mines (two separate trips) worked out at around £190 each - incredible! Remek organised everything - he even bought the tickets in each venue. He was brillian. I am sure he does the same for all the guests. I suggest emailing the apartments as we did. Enjoy!

If your flight lands at 1145 you have no problem. If it lands at 2345, I suggest that you contact the hotel to see if they are able to welcome you at c. 0100 the next day.
