Excellent hotel on edge of Jewish quarter, about 10 minutes walk to the main square and the castle so very well located. We were upgraded and had a lovely spacious studio with a large bathroom. Everything was spotessly clean and the standard of the bathroom was exceptional with a huge powerful shower. Highly recommended and the finish, furnishing etc is of a high standard. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I can see the breakfast area getting congested when the hotel is full as the buffet area is quite small, but this is a minor point. The breakfast selection was very good with one exception. There was fresh fruit but it was quite poor and tired looking and was not changed or added to in the 4 days we were there.
Great rooms, great staff and a fantastic breakfast. The aparthotel is in the Jewish area and there are loads of bars and restaurants within 5 minute walking distance, also it takes about 15 minutes on foot to the main square and most other attractions. Highly recommend the Aparthotel Miodowa.
Room 301 great size room everything seemed to have been refurbished bathroom with large walk in shower. Kitchen area with fridge small kettle and a hot plate. Comfortable bed with settee and flat screen tv. Only 2 English channels both news. Breakfast was continental but adequate with a few hot items along with cheeses hams cereals etc. Staff very helpful and booked auschwitz tour at reception. Good decision as picked up and dropped off on a minibus so the group was not to large. Great position for walking to all the sites 20 mins to castle main square etc. And the local tram system runs straight past on the main road. You have to get your ticket before you get on but it’s worked on time instead of distance and is activated when you put it in the machine cost about 65 pence for 20 min ticket There is also a cheap bar next door to the hotel Would definitely return to this hotel …
Spent 3 nights In a twin room between Xmas and New Year. Decent little hotel, rooms V clean and Modern, bed was comfy and room was warm, fridge, kettle, TV. Breakfast was fine, Continental but scrambled eggs and some spicy sausage. It’s approx 15 mins walk up into the main square where you’ll pass several restaurants. Didn’t spend much time in the Jewish quarter itself but called in a couple of bars on the way back from the main square and there seemed to be lots of drinking and eating options in and around the hotel. Would deffo recommend and would stop here again myself.
Not bad for the price, a we stayed for 5 nights. Location not bad, - not far from Main Square or the Jewish Quarters, however what let them down was our issue with our room. On our second night we went into our room and were faced with what seemed like a chemical smell from our bathroom. We tried to stay there and out up with it until me and my partner began to feel unwell, so I went down to reception, began to describe my issue and halfway through my sentence the man said ‘ok here’s another key for another room’. So they are aware of the issue, but choosing not to do anything about it. We went into our new room and someone’s clothes had been left in the wardrobe and we had no towels. So, I went down do reception and asked for more towels began we didn’t have any and he insisted on coming up to the room to ensure we had no towels before giving us anymore!! That wasn’t the greatest of experiences, - WiFi wasn’t great either.…
