Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Spatz Aparthotel. Unfortunately we didn’t get any special request from you and your travel Agent before your arrival. We would very appreciate if next time you send us a request about the lowest floor. Also, our bellboy is always on site, and happy to help with everything especially with the luggage. Situated on the edge of the Jewish quarter and the Old Town this is a great find. This does mean it is not the quietest location (we were in deluxe room 6 with the balcony right on the road, but we all slept well) The staff were all pleasant and helpful, especially the bar and waiting team. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower hot. Individual duvets on the double bed as well, which meant no arguments over hot and cold! We ate twice here - our son loved the Royale burger on the first night which he thought was great until he tried the steak which was declared as perfection (particularly the potatoes, which may not go down well with his Grandma!) Again, a great find and would recommend.

A great base with everything we needed for our trip. The staff were helpful & always polite. The room was cleaned daily, beds made, sheets changed on request & fresh towels everyday. The breakfast was an outstanding spread of the best selection of food. Personally I enjoyed the character and charm of the Jewish quarter. The architecture is beautiful, the restaurants are amazing value, the bars are buzzing with a great atmosphere and everyone you meet is genuinely nice. I look forward to returning to Krakow and I will definitely be staying in the Spatz again as it was a good spot to everything in the city and for pick up for day tours also. If you like hotels with more character, that feel more authentic then the spatz has everything for you with the restaurant, bar & beer garden downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed the air conditioning in the room after a long summer day exploring the city.

Having previously stayed in the Spatz Aparthotel, I had no hesitation in returning. Glad I made that choice! The rooms have had a refurb since my last visit and I really like the neat , minimalist decor. My room was also at the back and so quiet. The bathroom is pristine and the shower is is powerful ; lovely shower gel and handwash provided too. Another welcome addition to the room is a kettle with tea, coffee etc. Breakfast is excellent ; something for everyone. I also ate dinner in the restaurant and would thoroughly recommend the pierogis! The bar, together with its lovely courtyard garden ,is such a relaxing place , after a busy day's sightseeing. Staff are all so pleasant, friendly and helpful which creates a very welcoming vibe. I love Krakow, hope to return and, for me, there is only one place to stay...

OMG. Where to start? Me and my family prepaid a so called dlx room for 15 nights. The biggest mistake of my life after 30 yrs of travelling 30 + countries. This isn't an aparthotel. This is just a dated building with old useless furniture. Don't make the mistake going by the photos on TripAdvisor. Yes, they only have a small pretty restaurant and a small green site out. The food is decent but over priced. The restaurant in the front-Warslat has better food and quick service. But I'm here to tell you about the rooms. They are dated with touch up paint, the carpet on the stairs stained and ripped, my son kept falling off the broken extra bed, the wash basin is so small water falls all over, the drainage in the shower is slow, (manageable) the furniture is like it's just makeshift. The room just has annoying bright light in the middle, curtains can black out and hang on a wire. I can keep going on but don't want to. The main negative aspect of this hotel is the manager Chris. His negativity falls on all the staff. They are literally scared or freaked out of him. I requested him very politely for a room change and although I paid 15 days in advance I offered to pay extra for a room or a change in the on the 1st flr as my wife had a knee replacement. The bas*** didn't even care to speak nicely or even politely. I said I'll pay extra if the hotel chain had a 5 star somewhere in town. Nope. What type of hospitality is this? He is a total as***h*** and pretends he owns the property. The girls at the reception never acknowledged we were long stay guests with a simple hi and a days enquiry. Not once did anyone ask if we were comfortable and needed anything... We were on holiday and didn't want to keep complaining. My agent a member AITA and PATA etc couldn't get through. They never emailed him back. The only people that actually will give good memories of Krakow were David and Nicholas at the bar and Mathias that left the job upset of restaurant manager. Sweet guys. Chris should be in a dumpster. So rude and has no idea how to be kind to staff. I hope the ownership reads this and takes action. Dear Tourist, Spatz is good only as a hostel at best a run down guest house. They only want money. There are so many beautiful hotels much worthy of your money and time in Krakow. Stay away from this place. It's not worth even stepping in for a beer. The whole of Kazimirz is teeming with jam packed bars and restaurants this place is empty in peak evening hrs. The guest singer Chris was very nice but the poor gentleman always sang in an empty bar. I would bring in my wife and kid just so he would have an audience. That's kinda sad. The restaurant has such a good location but they couldn't pull people from the street. Only guy who could, left. Why? Dead vibes of a deadbeat manager.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience in Spatz Aparthotel with other travellers. As a team we tried to do our best to make your stay comfortable. We offered you another room on the first floor, unfortunately you did not accept our proposal. We would like to offer you a double lux with A BALCONY, but unfortunately this room was occupied by other guests who were currently staying at the hotel and those who had reservations for this type of room in the future. All our staff from the hotel and restaurant tried to please you and make your stay more pleasant. Thank you for your feedback and we wish you all the best and good travels in the future. Kind regards, Daria Samoilenko | Front Office Manager

We spent 7 nights in Krakow and had a fabulous time. The hotel is in a great location in the Jewish quarter, a 15 min walk to the Old Town square, 10 mins walk to Wawel Castle, 20 mins walk to Schindlers Factory. Great polish restaurant opposite the hotel entrance just down a little alleyway - recommend the home made vodka! Our room was spacious with everything you need. The breakfast was exceptional, great choice, with omelettes and scrambled egg cooked to order. Lovely little courtyard to sit and have a drink. All of the staff were friendly and really helpful. Recommend the Auschwitz tour. Would definitely stay here again.

This an absolute superb hotel, we where in room number 6. A very large corner room on the first floor overlooking the junction infront of the hotel. It had a balcony with seats and a table. We did not ask or booked this specific room bit we where stunned. The furniture is minimal and simple and the curtains could have been a bit wider to cover the whole of the window, but none of this was a bother to us. The staff was very helpful in every department and helped us to answer all the questions about trips. The breakfast buffet was also excellent with enormous choice of hot and cold items. An absolute pleasure to stay here for 3 nights!!!!
