    Reasonably priced, well located, friendly
Here's a rarity in Poland (this is my 4th visit) - a hotel with friendly staff who want to help. We had to check out at 2.30am to get a very early flight from Katowice and the hotel had thoughtfully provided coffee and cake to keep us going. This clean, modern hotel is tucked away a short walk from the central square in the old town. Bizarrely it has a small bowling alley in its basement though as we arrived late at night we didn't get to use it. It's boxy but the rooms have aircon and are decent enough. A good choice for a short stay in Krakow.

    Clean and comfortable. Great staff.
We have just spent 3 nights as a package deal with Jet 2 chosen specifically for facilities offered - pool table, bowling alley and sports TV. They did not disappoint. Normally we would stay more central but a 20 minute walk along the riverbank was nice or it will cost around £4 each way by taxi. The hotel is spotless throughout and comparable with UK Premier Inn. Breakfasts were fresh, varied and plentiful. Staff were excellent. Thank you to Kamil who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He is very caring and professional and the hotel are lucky to have him. There were a few problems with a group of American girls on a special Jewish trip that were noisy and inconsiderate to other residents and who decided to come to life between 11pm and 4 am that did spoil our sleep!!! However that was not the fault of staff. We had to ask the girls to close doors, keep down the noise and stop singing at 3am and turn hair dryers off. I think they thought they were the only people in the hotel. They were very inconsiderate and selfish. The group leaders were nowhere to be seen. We spoke to the group leaders and Rabbi's direct before they left and passed on our views directly to them fully supported by hotel staff. The hotel do not welcome hen and stag party's who I imagine would be better behaved than those young ladies!!! The staff were very apologetic. We were just unlucky visiting at the same time as this group. I would have no hesitation staying there again or recommending to family and friends. This has to be one of the cleanest hotels we have visited in Europe. Free wifi was excellent.

    School trip
Me and my classmates stayed there for 4 days. The rooms were clean, not very big, but livable. Also the bathrooms were new and very clean, where the towels were changed every day (not considering the last night, where they didn’t change them). As an italian group we didn’t find the food horrible, but neither delicious. There is the possibility to use the wifi, it usually works well.

We were part of a 25 person group and I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this hotel. While we arrived after a full day of sightseeing and felt tired, the welcome and ease of check in was just the beginning of our exceptional experience at this hotel. We found the room comfortably furnished, extremely clean and spacious. What put a big smile on our tired faces was the staff! We were served a pre arranged group dinner that was excellent. Chef Slawek’s selection of a hearty, tasty vegetable soup followed by a pork cutlet with a traditional polish cabbage side dish rivaled any fancy restaurant. His cheerful, outgoing personality made us forget about our tiredness! And Kasia, our server was the loveliest person I encountered in Poland. Her warmth, her helpfulness and cheerful attitude made our experience very joyful and a great example of the welcoming Polish people. We kept on smiling as we left her and the chef in the hotel’s restaurant. We could not have imagined a better hotel experience on a visit to Krakow.

visited as part of a group stay in Kracow. This hotel proved to be a very clean, well maintained, modern and welcoming place to stay in beautiful Kracow. Staff were professional and helpful always with a genuine smile! Breakfast was one of the best experienced - well presented buffet style with local and international items and in plentiful supply. The hotel decor was stylish and in perfect condition throughout. Just a 20 minute pleasant stroll into the old town so quiet and peaceful surroundings. Found it faultless and made our vist even more enjoyable. Will definatly return and recommend to others.

We recently stayed with 21 students- and were very well treated! All rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms, comfy beds and excellent housekeeping. The pre ordered meals for our group, which included many different dietary requirements, were great: we all ate on time, the food was of excellent quality, with the breakfast options varied and vast. As an added bonus, the games room with pool table and bowling alley offered us a place to meet and relax. Staff were at all times very helpful and polite. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A first stay at this hotel and I found the overall experience a very positive one. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, very clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff I encountered were, without exception, extremely friendly, helpful with good customer service skills. My stay included half board and I thought the standard and quality of the meals served was very good indeed. The hotel isn’t in the most central of locations but it is by the river and only a short and very pleasant walk from the old town. The area is quiet too. The hotel also has a games room which has a 2 lane bowling alley - another plus factor (especially if you are travelling with teenagers). I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend it to fellow travellers.

We were guests at the Hotel between 19th -22nd March. We were appointed very nice rooms catering for the needs of our students. The staff were exceptional, helpful and were quick to resolve any issues we had during our stay. The Breakfasts were substantial and well organised to cater for two large school parties. the 2 Lane bowling Alley with the pool table and table football provided a great spot for students to relax and the staff to unwind. We will run the trip to Krakow again next year and we shall be back at Hotel Wilga in greater numbers. Its quiet and a fair walk from the Centre of town, but that was also an attractive feature of the hotel

The room was very small with only a full size bed and the air conditioner would only get down to around 72 degree F. The buffet breakfast that was included was OK, every time we eat the eggs were cold and the other items were just OK. The Hotel is not located in the best of areas but overall it was nice. The staff was very nice from the folks at the desk and even the housekeeping folks were nice. Would probably stay here again if I couldn't find better accommodations and if I could get a bigger room and bed.

Great gem of a hotel. Staff are amazing. So helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and spotless. Food was really tasty. Breakfast offered loads of choice, continental in its choices. There is a two lane bowling alley and pool table downstairs.

The staff at this hotel goes out of its way to look after their guests. Request to fix lamp had an immediate response. They located addresses for us, booked tours & made excellent recommendations for sightseeing. The chef was welcoming & presented a limited menu with excellent flavour & presentation. The location is slightly outside centre town but has excellent tram service to town. This hotel is on a quiet street away from the hustle & bustle of the main drag. We would absolutely stay here again.

Upon arrival I was met by a strong smell of cooked food which permeated the whole reception area. Although it was coming to 15:00 my room was not ready. When, finally, at 15:10 the receptionist informed me that it WAS ready and gave me the key, it still WAS NOT - the room was still being prepared. I had to leave the luggage with the reception and leave for work. But the biggest unpleasant surprise waited for me in the night - it took me long to fall asleep, as, a waste pipe going somewhere behind the wall in my bathroom produced such a terrible noise every time somebody upstairs used the toilet. So, I fall asleep when people upstairs stopped using their toilets for the night...just to be woken up at 5:22 am - when they started using it again. One more night for me to go .... Can't wait to leave....
