The hostel is located in the very centre of the Old Town, on the market square, with a nice view of the Cloth Market, St Adalbert's church etc. So it's very good. The downside to it is the noise at night, which is bigger than during the day actually. The noise is augmented by the fact that, during heat, there's no other way to cool the room but to open the window to let the air flow freely. This has the unwelcome consequence of letting the insects in. I was, and still am, completely covered with itching bites and my scratches. I do not mean 5, but rather 25 of them. So it's annoying. I assume these were mosquitos, although I haven't seen them. I've seen some other kind of insect twice, but I'll give a benefict of a doubt and will assume it was a small beetle of something that made it through the window, because it was relatively dark and it disappeared quickly. The hostel is clean I guess, but the bed covers were old and torn in some places. I didn't receive a cover for the pillow as well. The price is very good, especially for the central location. The staff is reasonably nice (usually), speaks good English etc. There's no elevator, so be ready for that. You can buy some drink or chips at the reception, which is a good thing. Oh, there's not enough locker cages in the rooms. There should be 2 under each bed. There were not. I asked for one, and, after commenting I could get one from under another bed (then I'd have to check under someone resting there half-naked and I felt a bit uncomfortable doing that), I was given one. But the one I was given was broken, and you could get everything from outside, so it defeated the purpose... I got another one eventually, though. If you get in, you will be asked to chose a bed etc. But remember to leave something on it, apart from the bedsheets you'll be given. When I returned to the hostel, "my" bed was taken by someone, and the sheets moved on the bed up. I prefer getting a fixed number etc.…
