Very low quality breakfast specially for the price. Sudden change of location on a day of arrival. False information about the room and terrible beds. No cleaning service and they expected us to clean the room instead. Very unfriendly service. Very bad experience overall. I would give it 0 stars if I could .
On my arrival there was no one on reception, i phoned but they hung up and had to speak on whatsapp. During my first night I had a seizure, when I finally came round, confused, they handed me some money and told me to leave immediately. I HAD TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY AT 11PM!
They don't have toilets or showers in the room. The facilities aren't great, but it's good just for a couple of nights. Also is a bit cold inside. In terms of location is actually good, around 12min to the main square.
I booked a bed in an 8 person room via their website. But they gave me a bed in a 12 person room. I could choose it myself and pay less. I had to talk to them on the phone but could not agree on anything. They didn't listen. They just said they can cancel my booking and refund the price, in the middle of the night. I could myself book a better place if I knew they would behave like this.
Me and my wife been there for 2 nights stay in our visit in Krakow. Clean and tidy room, good location, nice atmosphere. The receptionist Lucy is so kind and friendly. Overall good experience. Will love to stay again there in future. Highly recommended.
Good location in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, very close to the center. Very friendly staff, helpful and nice. We were leaving very early the last morning and they offered lunchboxes instead of breakfast - fantastic service. And nice lunchboxes indeed. Dorms were simple and clean and so was the shared toilet/bathroom. Very good value for not much money
The only reason people should stay here is if theu're in Krakow for a few days and want somewhere cheap. The dorms are quiet and not very social. However I doubt if they clean the sheets all that often because after one night I got small rash on my hand. The covers don't completely cover the bed so if you move in your sleep you will wake up with covers everywhere. So in summary only stay here if you need somewhere cheap and for a couple of days and will spend most of your time out and about.
Great location and decent value for money. Legit 8 min walk to old town and near numerous attractions. Very quiet and safe but during the day there is construction going on next door. Have tram and bus stops very close to the hostel. Very clean and helpful staff. Breakfast not worth the 20zlotys though. And if you've booked into a dorm there is a deposit that needs to be made for the locker. And bring a towel and soap or you will have to pay, but I think the hostel mentions this in their policy section. Overall, great value for money.
Overall a nice hostel in a good location in Krakow. Once you traverse the many steps you will find the lobby and reception area of the hostel. The lobby area is a decent size and is co-located with reception. The reception is friendly and the staff is very helpful in providing information about the area and what to do and see. For purchase, you will find various beverages, candy, and all your travel essentials such as toothpaste, travel adapters and the like. The lobby is also the location to three of the toilets on that side of the hostel. Going towards the dorm rooms you will find an additional toilet and shower as well as the kitchen. The kitchen is small but functional. The dorm rooms are large and have a good amount of space for luggage and odds and ends without encroaching too much on the space of others. The lockers are a good size that could fit a carryon and a backpack with some maneuvering. The beds are decently comfortable, have a light and power outlet as well as a privacy curtain. The curtain is a bit short and doesn’t provide full coverage. Continue down the hall you will find additional showers with sinks that were generally kept pretty clean. On the other side of the lobby you will find an additional seating area that boasts a coffee bar, although it was not open for the duration of this visit. Additional dorm rooms as well as showers and toilets can also be found in this area. The stay here was relatively comfortable and worry free. Everything was clean, the staff very helpful, and good Wi-Fi. Will definitely consider staying here again the next time in the area.…
My battery was low so instead of booking via Booking.com I figured I’ll just pay at the hostel (should be better for the hostel, no commission etc). To my surprise I had to pay MORE + pay for the towel... it’s crazy that you don’t even get the tea/coffee for free and pay the price similar to the one I paid in Singapore (for much better standard, breakfast and free towels of course). The bathrooms were dirty, dorm was noisy, common area pretty much non-existent. I’ve been to many hostels worldwide and this one is one of the worst(definitely has the worst value for money ratio and vibe)
