This was my first trip to Poland and I found this gem online, they have 2 other hotels in Krakow as well. This is located just inside the walls and is a great location to experience the city- all walking distance! Our room , 201, was the Presidential suite to accommodate the 3 of us. Soooo charming, it felt like we were home truly. The staff was amazing and helpful with reservations both with private transportation to Auschwitz and restaurants. The Christmas market was beautiful and the whole town decorated for the season. Don't miss the mulled wine! The breakfast in the lower level was equally charming and the best food we had during our 2 week Eastern Europe trip. Further, our overnight train didn't leave until almost midnight and they allowed us to store our luggage in a room . So, a big Thank you for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this beautiful old world hotel! Margaret , Marie and Mary…
Perfect base for exploring Krakow for a long weekend. Staff very helpful and gave excellent restaurant recommendations- and sorted out reservations prior to arrival. Lovely clean and spacious room. Good variety of breakfast options. Would stay there again and recommend to others.
Stayed at this hotel as a couple for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Location - superb. A couple of minutes walk to the beautiful main square, with all it’s bars and restaurants. Hotel - traditional. The hotel is very cosy we thought, with a lovely little bar ( although it wasn’t staffed very well when we were there, so we only had one drink all trip). The room was fabulous, very homely and warm. We didn’t see another guest the whole time we were here, which was slightly odd as it’s a medium sized hotel. Staff were faultless, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast - plenty of it! Although it wasn’t a buffet, we had to fill in a card on our first day to specify what we’d like. This might be due to Covid however. Overall, this hotel was perfect for what we wanted and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay here again if we were ever in Krakow again.…
This hotel is well situated in the Old Town - close to bars & restaurants, but on a quiet side street. Our room was great, the hotel was clean and well maintained & the staff friendly and helpful. Our room had steps up to the bed - which we thought was great, but worth asking not to have if you use a walking stick.
We have stayed at and eaten at this hotel on numerous occasions when too many guests are with us at our small apartment over the road... ...always we have a good time and this was no exception. The hotel is modestly but very comfortably appointed, well run and exceptionally welcoming. Our room was spacious and beautiful and very private despite having large feature windows. In the evening and in spite of the closure of the restaurant owing to the pandemonium, the chef came in specially to do canapés for us before our dinner at home. Everything was excellent and a big thank you goes to everyone!
This hotel came recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! Small and quaint, clean and comfortable and the staff were so helpful! The hotel itself is tucked away and quiet yet only a 5 minute walk to the main square. The staff happily booked our airport transfers and a trip to Auschwitz arranged by email before our arrival. Lovely breakfast they even made us a nice pack up to take to the airport on the last morning as we were too early for breakfast. The rooms are fairly small but have everything you need and are comfortable with traditional furnishings. Great value for money! We will definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed here for four nights and fully enjoyed our stay. The room was small but more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows fabulous. The buffet breakfast was varied and catered for every taste. The staff, particularly on reception, were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is very well situated for the old town, Wawel castle, the Jewish quarter and the shopping gallery attached to the bus and train station.
From the moment we arrived we were beautifully looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this superb hotel is situated in a great location. Our room was brilliant value for money, great bathroom with nice shampoos etc. Comfy bed and lovely linen. We didn't venture onto the roof terrace but we did go down to the bar which was very cozy and had an utterly delicious dinner. Breakfast was really good. I booked airport taxi, Salt Mine Tour ana dAuschwitz tour through the reception and it all went perfectly. Highly recommended.
I would love to give 5 star but I will list the good and the bad in our opinion, Good; well situated, if you get the right room, clean, nice mini bar, staff friendly, nice breakfast The bad; with room 303 every morning at 5,30 the empty bottles are collected making a noise like a recycling plant, 6,45 there is a bell that is rung from the old convent, the bed was way to soft just like sleeping on a lolo and bring your one pillow, and not much to worry about but no view from the odd shaped window
We stayed 2 nights at this lovely clean and charming hotel. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and all we needed for a short break. Hotel was conveniently situated for walking to all parts of town and although close to everything, is situated in a quiet road. Unfortunately didn’t try breakfast as we were booked on a tour which started much earlier than expected.
