We have stayed in a number of different hotels in Krakow and this one was the best by far. Very friendly staff. Spacious and beautiful rooms. Excellent location. The hotel is located right in the middle of the Krakow Old Town. So everything is easily reachable by foot.
Just back from a long weekend at Santi hotel with jet 2 city breaks . The location of this hotel in the old town in Krakow is excellent and the reception staff polite , friendly and welcoming especially Michael . Room was huge and full of traditional features which were charming . I loved this place and would definitely go back to the Santi . Until next time
Very impressed with this hotel, we were on the first floor at the front of the hotel and whilst you can hear the trams we did not have any problem sleeping. We were there with friends so had two rooms, both were very large with full seating areas (full 3 piece suit in ours) and large beds. the bathroom was fine but very warm. Staff were very good, when we were there the bar was not open but you can sit in a nice lounge and the reception staff will get you drinks, limited menu but a very nice room after a day sight seeing. Main square in literally a 4 min walk from the hotel with many good restaurants
Very convenient location. In the very heart of the old town. The building is very interesting architecturally. Very spacious rooms, nicely furnished. Drinking water is provided in the rooms. The bathroom and toilet are comfortable.
We stayed for two nights, and booked as this hotel was the closest to the centre at the best price. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in slightly early as one of the rooms was ready. We were also offered a welcome drink in arrival. The rooms were very large and clean, with good services (tea, coffee, mini bar etc) but I wouldn’t describe things as being luxurious. There was a far amount of noise from the trams running outside as we were in the room in the second floor and facing the road outside. As a base to explore the centre I would recommend this definitely and would stop again when we return to krakow.
Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Ideally situated to explore Krakow. The hotel arranged our transfers and a couple of trips with the minimum of fuss. Lots to see around the hotel and locations such as the Schindler factory are only a short walk away. If we came back to Krakow I would stay here again.
Pros. Santi hotel is in a perfect location for walking distance to the square, restaurants, shops, Jewish Quarter and attractions. The staff were friendly and breakfast had plenty of cold meats, cheeses, kippers, eggs and salads to choose from. They had about 3 hot breakfast choices. On our early start day out, we got a lovely snack box which was more than enough to see us through the long day which was much appreciated. Cons. I really didn’t want to write a negative comment, but our room (104) at the front of the hotel was really noisy with the trams passing all night. I’m sensitive to noise so I always travel with good ear plugs but even those did not make much difference and I had very little and disturbed sleep which resulted in me being very tired and exhausted all the time I was there which partly ruined the trip for me. I did tell one of the receptionists and she did look to see if the was a room at the back of the hotel, but unfortunately there wasn’t, she did say there was a room on the 3rd floor, but that too was on the front of the hotel. I couldn’t see that would have made much difference and I didn’t want the hassle of repacking and unpacking for just another two nights. I’d read other reviews about noise from the front rooms but they didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. It was a very big deal to me and when rooms are described for selection, it should be mentioned that there can be noise from front rooms so we have a chance to book or not book. Having had such a miserable time at the hotel it has soured my views. The only way I would recommend this hotel is that you request a quiet room, if not, then you just have to take a chance.…
Fabulous hotel, location perfect for Krakow old town and trams right outside for those that want to explore Standard rooms fantastic, large as well with room for a settee etc. Breakfast very good , lots of choice but don't expect a full English but lots of continental and some hot dishes Staff and service excellent, they could not do more for you. Being in the centre close to trams and churches you may be disturbed early from 6am depending on how you sleep and if windows open etc but we found it ok. We soon drifted off again after the first church bells plus you really need to be up and about to cram in all the sights you can do here Our 3rd visit and love Krakow. Loads of places to eat, moan square great but expect to pay more (50%) just for location. Plenty of very good restaurants off the main Streets , ask your transfers driver or hotel staff for recommendations. We used 4 different places from recommendations and all fab. We paid from £25 to £40 pp for 2 course dinners with 2 bottles of wine (decent) plus shared desserts. …
Location of this hotel is the best. 2 minute walk to main square and less than 10 mins to Jewish quarter. Reception staff really friendly. We were in room 102 - facing the road. Yes you hear the cars/trams but it’s nothing too bad (may be different in the summer if you need the window open). Room was warm. Lovely shower in the bathroom. Fridge wasn’t a fridge as didn’t keep drinks cold. Breakfast was ok. Mainly cold meats, cheese, fruit more than enough for us. Disappointed the bar wasn’t open due to COVID but wasn’t end of the world. Would definitely stay here again
We stayed in the Santi hotel for the duration of our stay in Krakow. The location is very easy to get to from the airport, at around 25 minutes in a taxi. It is in the old town, in a very clean and quaint part of the city. The hotel staff were very welcoming, our room was ready early which was a bonus. The room we had was very spacious and pleasantly decorated, with a small lounge area in the room and a large shower room. It was very clean and well presented, with complimentary bottles of water. We were at the front of the hotel and the tram line does run directly outside, but you get used to them during the stay. I did not find them to be a problem. The breakfast was a great selection of sweet and savoury foods, and the staff were always polite and eager to greet us when we came in. It was a truly lovely stay and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Krakow.…
