I was there with two other friends and it was the perfect base, really close the the main square, clean, well run and with a generous breakfast included at the small restaurant next door. Probably not ideal for families or older visitors because of the stairs but perfect for younger groups looking for somewhere to rest your head after a busy day of sightseeing, eating and drinking.
I’m familiar with Krakow, and have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels across the United States, and this experience still rivals everywhere I have been before. The staff is not just accommodating, but they are so friendly as well. While in the office, my mom and I chatted with the hotel owner. It was like sitting down with a friend. The rooms were clean and because we were on the side not facing the street, I did not hear any noise from the streets, which is great because I am a light sleeper. Speaking of which, the hotel is as close to the city center as you can get. It is one block away. There is also a tram stop practically right outside the door. We had zero problems scheduling a taxi for 2 AM on the night we left. Because we were unable to use our last breakfast voucher for the wonderful Ukrainian restaurant downstairs, hotel staff brought us a packed breakfast the night before we left. It was unexpected and we really appreciated it. My family and I will be staying here again next time we visit Krakow.…
What a perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit with a visit to Krakow and to Grodzka 21 Apartments. I particularly picked this hotel as it looked so traditionally Polish and I was not disappointed. The murals in the entrance hall were amazing. If you like modern this is not for you but if you want to feel you are in Poland then this is the place for you. It is also not suitable for people who have mobility problems as there are stairs to all rooms and no lift. It is extremely well located, only 5 minutes from the main square and in the other direction only 10 minutes from the castle. We had a large room situated at the back of the building which was very quiet considering the location. It had coffee and tea making facilities which were refilled on request. It was well heated for the winter months, in fact we had to turn it down. Breakfast is served in the next door restaurant where there was a large choice of both hot and cold food. All the food was extremely fresh. They were also very accommodating when we required an earlier start one morning. The staff are very friendly and only to happy to help, even ringing an agent for us when we had a query. I would definitely stay here again!…
Loved it , me and my family stayed 26th - 29th dec , clean warm snug , friendly very helpful staff , they help with all tours etc . also although its right in the middle of all you want , its so quiet inside ( probs quieter at back , although street side i wouldnt mind ) . thankyou !!!
We stayed in the front bedroom with bathroom overlooking the street with full view of the ice-cream shop. We heard the carriages trot past and crowd noise non of which was disturbing. The Office/booking girls at the desk were wonderful. The room was very clean, comfortable and large enough for suitcases etc without feeling crowded. The location was SUPERB. We loved our stay at the Grodzka Apartment where a delicious breakfast was served in the restaurant right next door.
This hotel has amazing staff! Prior to my trip, they emailed me lots of helpful information about their hotel and tours available. I had them book a tour to Aushwitz for me. The rooms were super clean and had everything you needed. Excellent location and in walking distance to all the sites in Kraków. Another highlight about this place was the day of my tour. The tour was early in the morning prior to breakfast. The lovely receptionist made sure I had a take away breakfast made before I left for my tour. It was greatly appreciated since breakfast and lunch was not included in the tour. I would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel and perfectly located. The staff were super helpful. I would like to thank the staff for a comfortable stay. I would definitely choose this hotel. The hotel is in the centre. You can find everything within walking distance. Felt secure too. The breakfast was amazing. :)
Location superb: right between market and Wawel, one of the main thoroughfares. Trams, shops, supermarkets, bars all on doorstep. Main station with big shopping mall about 15 on foot/5 mins by tram. The room was nice and big, even for a basic double. Staff friendly and helpful. Auschwitz tour helpfully booked by them and it was a superb guided and transported tour which did not cost very much for what it delivered. Breakfast included, available at cafe next door. The thing that spoiled it a bit for me was the constant noise outside (internally there was no noise from other rooms). Grodzka is never quiet, even in the early hours of the morning, and as I was on first floor not far off street it did become annoying. There would be loud drunks etc at 02:00 or later. There was also incessant noise from carriages going past window right up to Midnight which was both tiresome noise and depressing to see animals still working at that hour. None of this is the fault of the hotel and any hotel on the street would bring similar issue. But do be aware of it and try and get a garden room or higher up room. …
Stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very centrally located. Just minutes from the main square and restaurants and food shops are literally on the door step. Really great apartment to stay in and use as a base to explore the beautiful city of Krakow. The only down side was we were situated overlooking the main street and while very exciting in the day could be still quite noisy into the early hours. But still, we really enjoyed our stay here , would recommend these apartments and would stay again when visiting Krakow.
Very nice hotel right in the heart of town. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They provided a crib for our infant, and let us check out a little late. The room itself has quality linens, blackout drapes, and nice monogrammed towels. There isn’t an elevator available for wheelchairs or strollers but we were lucky to only have to climb one flight of stairs. Despite being in the center of town our room was very quiet. It also has air conditioning which is super rare for most European hotels.
