I recommend it! Great atmosphere. Felt like at home. Great service. Location is very convenient. 20 min by tram to a city center. Great place if you are looking for a relaxation or meditation. 10/10 points
Great hotel for both a business trip or for leisure time. Situated in a quiet area but only 20min by tram( great connection) from the old town. The best quality for the price in Kraków. I would come back again.
this place was perfect for what we needed. the hotel is secure with secure parking also. reception manned 24/7 by the most friendly team of people your likely to meet. the room was a good size for a twin. the beds were a tad uncomfortable being 6ft3 and the mattress could.do with being updated but everything else I cannot complain about. would deffo use again with out a doubt
A very pleasant hotel. With Christian ambience, it is on the site of a monastery and owned by the monks. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. They booked taxi to airport for us and advised on the history of the hotel. We had an apartment which is a good size, beds are not the most comfortable but can get by. Great family area upstairs if travelling with children, only thought is very close proximity to marble style stairs. Breakfast is average, be early we were later a couple of (8.30) and most of the food and already been consumed and was not replenished. All in all a great hotel for the money.
A very peaceful and friendly option in Kraków. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very kind, polite and always willing to serve with a smile. Rooms are en suite, and several apartments are also available. I organized a series of meetings for various-sized groups (even as large as 50 people) including two banquets (wonderfully prepared) and it was easy and uncomplicated to work with the Manager Aleksander Pawłowski and the Staff. The Staff is truly exemplary. Any request was granted to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and successful. There was one large meal and one small meal each day - a nice variety. A huge breakfast buffet greeted us each morning. The facility is kept very nicely, very clean, well-maintained, even a nice green area outside for a quick stroll. Tram and bus connection to the center of Kraków and the station is very easy. WIFI connection was very good and reliable throughout the entire complex. Honestly, I can highly recommend the Domus Mater. My compliments to the exceptional Staff who made our stay so enjoyable, easy and relaxing. THANK YOU!…
Hotel was very peaceful place to spend time and to sleep. Rooms were clean and the staff was very kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone; good value for money because charge for room was very cheap.
Because of an unfortunate medical event with one of my fellow travellers, I had to prolong my stay in Krakow. In just a couple of hours I did the reservation and got my hotel room. The hotel was clean, and the room was of good size. What fascinated me with the hotel was the Christian interior; pictures of different popes, Jesus on the cross and Maria Icons. It was quite extraordinary!
The interior of the Hotel reflects a very sympathetic Christian spirit. It fits well to the similar spirit, experienced in Kraków and all over in Poland. The small exhibition in the 1st floor lobby is highly recommended (especially for those, who speak Polish), the one on the 2nd floor is also nice. Attached to the building there is a nice church (accessible from outside). Meanwhile, the exterior of the Hotel does not reflect the internal richness, at all. It's like a simple blockhouse. As for the mundane matters: It was easy and quick to reach the city centre by tram (do not try by car - the jam is all the day guaranteed...). An excellent and rich breakfast, with great selection was offered. Good quality, spacious and free parking place in the court. Nice garden. Our room faced the garden, so it was excellently quiet. A bit bigger room would have been more pleasant, but for a three nights stay it was enough.…
this hotel was fabulous !!! very clean, room was luxury we were not expecting for the price!! The hotel staff were very pleasant and very helpful to us..the hotel itself was beautiful and very peaceful. We would recommend anyone to stay here, for the value for money , we were pleasantly surprised, we will be coming back here again, whenever we decide to visit Poland again!!! :)
It's worth it!! A lot!! Very good breakfast, very quite place and the service was excellent. Close to the old town, about 10 minutes by tram. The only minus of this hotel is the room that is a little bit small, but for me was ok. The price/service report is excellent.
