We were allocated a 3rd floor ( attic) room with only Velux windows so no view. The room walls were grubby with some dubious looking stains. The shower head was droopy so you had to wash yourself one handed whilst wrestling to shower head with the other. We never saw a maid the whole time so same towels for 5 days and our rubbish bin in the room remained with us for our entire stay, at least we could reminisce about our snacks and drinks from almost a week ago if we looked in the corner of the room.

Uh... looking on the pictures at TripAdvisor, I don't remember staying in this place! Really. But go to booking[dot]com to see the pictures as these are more true to reality. We stayed here because it was not far from the center and other interesting places. Everything was within walking distance which is what makes this a great place to start from. There is no place to eat in Leone Aparthotel. So we went to find our own place to have breakfast (lots of nice cafes & breakfast places to go to). On our first stay, we were in room 301 which is cozy. Being at the top floor, it was really hot but thankfully it has air conditioning and the fridge is in working order. We had internet working during our stay. On our second stay, we were in room 107 which looks bigger & nicer but there was NO air conditioning and the fridge was not working and was leaking. Do not walk barefoot as our feet came out dirty and there were hairs on the floor (not ours). This room has a patio which is nice but given above, I preferred room 301. Parking is hard to find. Unless you opt for the 40 złoty parking area behind the building which is held by an older man. Given there were no parking available we opted for that but go carefully as the road is very uneven! so some good, some bad. I guess your experience depends on the room you get

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights 5 days. In that time are room was not cleaned even though we had put out the please clean room sign. I had to go to reception and ask for fresh towels. There was no air conditioning on the bottom floor and while we had a very small room you can imagine how hot it was. Breakfast was in a completely different building which we aren’t told about when we arrived we had to ask. Majority of staff were lovely and it is in a good location but over all we wouldn’t stay here again.

I will start with the negatives. No lifts which I think may be quite common in Krakow, we were on the 3rd floor so quite a treck up to our rooms. If you have mobility issues I highly suggest you do your best to get a 1st floor room. Breakfast was at the Spatz hotel, 750 metres away. This didn't bother me but my 16yo daughter hated it. Just bear in mind the journey time there and back if you are on a tight schedule. Our mini fridge did not get cold. I reported it the morning after we arrived and the afternoon the next day a replacement was brought. However, this one also did not get cold. Not sure if this was just very bad luck or they just use rubbish fridges to save electric. The casings from the plug sockets come away from the wall if you use a tight fitting adapter. Easy way round this is to just hold in the casing when removing the plug. Not a big deal in all honesty. Aside from that the staff are nice and polite, rooms are clean and tidy. Nobody changed bedding, towels or made the beds in the 3 nights we were here but again, didn't bother me. Best thing about this hotel is the location. It's down a back street with boarded up windows but it is right in the middle of everything so if you can walk, a lot of things are in good walking distance. Good restaurants are within 1km, the Jewish section of town is a literal stone's throw. Even though I listed a few negatives, they are more warnings. If I were to come back I would not hesitate to use this hotel again due to where it is and the good price.

An older hotel within ten minutes walk of the main square - set in a side street away from the main thoroughfare. Large clean and tidy room with tea and coffee facilities. When we stayed the restaurant was closed so were given the option of either having a selection of set menus delivered to the hotel or the use of an hotel which was a good 8-10 minutes walk away - the weather was great to it was not a problem may not be quite so enjoyable if the weather was bad - there was no indication of this until we arrived so perhaps it's a temporary thing. If we return to Krakow I would happily use the hotel again The location is excellent for exploring yet far enough away to provide peace and quiet.

The room was a little dated but very clean, spacious and well-kept. The staff were very friendly and spoke english well, offering directions and recommendations, and booked our taxi back to the airport. The hotel was in a great location, about a ten minute walk from Krakow city square but on a quiet street, so we weren’t disturbed late at night/early morning. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering. Happy travels!

Arrived evening time and was greeted by reception, the chap didn't show any interest or enthusiasm which I have never seen before at many hotels over the years. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website etc, they are warm but very basic. Met another couple of the reception team that were very helpful. The restaurant is not open for food.

We were on the top floor (3rd) lovely spacious rooms, comfortable beds, tv, fridge and kettle. Rooms were really warm, even without the heating on had to have the windows open. Downside is there are no lifts so the trek to the third floor each day was a killer! Staff friendly and helpful, would definitely go back but ask for a lower floor. The street looks a bit derelict, but we felt safe, easy walking distance to the main square with restaurants a and bars

The Leone hotel is tired and needs updating. Was not what I expected of a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was a 10 minute walk at another hotel we was not aware of this when we booked. The bedroom we was given did not look anything like in the photographs. But on a positive note the reception staff were all lovely and very helpful. Krakow however was amazing and had a lovely time spent there.
