    Quirky
This budget hotel is down the end of a cul-de-sac amongst some semi derelict buildings. But don’t let this put you off. The buildings itself has been lovingly renovated whilst still keeping the charm of originally being tenement apartments. They have kept the old tiles and beautiful ornate plasterwork. Also the original doorways where possible and the beautiful old ceramic heaters. Be aware that there is no lift in this building. We fortunately had a “ground floor” room. I say ground floor but there is a flight of stairs from the entrance to reception. Our “rooms” were at the back of the hotel and generally quite apart fro the rail line that runs directly behind, this didn’t cause us concern as we live under a flight path so are used to noise early morning. Our rooms consisted of three different areas. I loved that it was slightly quirky as old cupboards and wood work had been left in place. Unfortunately the layout of the rooms were totally in-practical. An entrance area consisted of a small kitchenette with a two ring electric cooker top. The small shower room and toilet were modern clean and fit for purpose. The “lounge” room was totally pointless. The tv was placed in an area with only one uncomfortable chair to sit to watch it. There was a sofa bed at the other end of the room (not comfortable) and then a mixture of badly placed white melamine furniture (personal opinion, would have liked to see something in keeping with the building, but it was functional so served its purpose). The lamented flooring was chipped and coming up in places, not safe to walk on without shoes. The “bedroom” was so tiny that there was only space for a small double bed pushed against the wall and a bedside table. It was also impossible to see the tv from the bed. I feel in this day and age you shouldn’t have to climb over your partner to get in bed when staying in an hotel. Suggest management swap the function of the two rooms, then maybe it would work. Breakfast was continental style, but you can also order a cooked breakfast, bacon, eggs etc. The staff were all very helpful and the place clean. The location is easy for walking into the old town and to the Jewish Quarter. We would love to give this quaint hotel 4 stars but the room really let it down. Would we stay again? Yes, if the room was sorted out.

    Long weekend away
For the value for money this hotel is amazing! Rooms are lovely and the bed is very comfy. Lovely and clean, hotel staff speak amazing English and are very happy to help. The breakfast is very polish but offer bacon and eggs and omelettes to be made fresh for you on the day! Only a 15 min walk to the main square and is close to everything, great location if you’re looking for a short break! All in al an amazing trip

    Great location
Just checked out after spending 3 nights at the Leone Aparthotel which we enjoyed. The hotel is in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the Jewish quarter so you’re close to the sites. The hotel is an old fashioned building situated down a small road. The rooms where nice and comfortable. The rooms don’t have maids changing beds, towels and bins but the hotel tell you this at check out and you can request for these to be changed at reception. Don’t be put off by other reviews, they would have been told. We didn’t find this to be a problem at all and if we wanted things changed we would have simply asked. I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly book this hotel again when revisiting Krakow in the future. Thank you Leone Aparthotel.

Absolutely shocking place to stay . Its situated down a road where most of the other buildings are boarded up. There is a 20 min walk to breakfast, No cleaning is done or clean towels unless you ask. Trains keep you awake in the early hours . I would give it 0 stars if I could. It is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Don't put any valuables in your safe because ours wasn't even bolted to the wall.

Booked to stay here for 3nights with easyJet. On arrival the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, checked us in quickly. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your suitcase up stairs if your room is high yet than ground floor. The room was decent, fairly clean, and had all facilities needed. View was of the car park. The receptionist was on the desk 24hour and was always available to help when needed. On our last day we kept our room in till 12:45 which was 30PLN (check out is 10am). Overall you get what you pay for. I was quite worried when reading the reviews prior to arriving. It is a bit run down however, the we booked this apartment with the intention of using the bed and shower as we spent majority of our trip out exploring krakow. The location is in walking distance from everything such as 15min the old town square, 15mins to Kazimierz, 20mins to shopping centre. It is worth what you pay and I would stay here again with the intention of using it for a bed and shower. The area felt safe.

Excellent location only 10 minutes walk to Old town and 12 minute walk away from Jewish quarter! Staff are lovely if you need help like towels changed or booking trips you just have to ask them and they are more than happy to send a cleaner in or to book a trip! (They won’t presume you need help you have to ask if you want sheets changed or new towels!) I’m seeing a lot of 1 star reviews but you get what you pay for it’s a very cheap place to stay in a fantastic location that has loads of restaurants, pubs and cafes around. It’s not high end and there are some things that are not ideal like there being no lift, a train right beside the hotel and there were some things slightly broken like the shower head in our room but if you are looking for a cheap budget place to stay in a central location it is ideal! I’ve spent a lot more money for a lot worse places in my time, I think many of the one star reviews are being dramatic. Like if you are planning to spend your day out exploring Krakow and you just need a bed at night I would recommend here!

Terrible hotel. Broken shower and safe reported first day no one bothered. Safe beeped for 4 days. Sockets not secured and there were only 2. Room stuffy and suffocating no fans no air con. Wi fi slow and jumpy. Have to walk 15 mins to get breakfast . Staff couldn't care less. Have to ask to have room cleaned but don't tell you when you book in. Would never stay here again no positives

Don’t be fooled by website picture..the rooms are nothing like them. It’s an Old building so don’t expect luxury but it’s in great need of updating. Some bedrooms have no windows and are more of a large alcove space used for sleeping in. Bathroom needed repair ..tap and shower broken. Sockets not fixed to wall. Street is not unsafe by any means and graffiti is typical of a lot of cities. Location is excellent. Easy to access trams for longer journeys and only 15 minutes walk to old town . Reception staff pleasant. Wouldn’t stay here again but Krakow was a delight

Wen we arrived there was no one on reception desk apart from a work man who was painting some walls, he did ring the person who was on duty, but we had to wait 15 minutes till he showed up. When he showed up he did not give us any info on hotel, and could see that I was struggling with carrying my case up 2 flights of stairs and never offered to help. The room was very small, and we never saw a cleaner in the 5 days we were there. We would not stay there again. Only good side is the hotel is close to old town and Jewish town. Sorry for poor review.
