Hidden in a closed back alley behind restaurants, bars, and offices Lies this beautiful yet small hotel/guesthouse. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the room are great (and big), the interior design is awesome - they really bring out the details of this old building and mix it with all kinds of various decorations and item of all sorts - there is a beautiful front garden, and it is placed almost in the middle of the old town. And to top this: it's cheap. One would think that this location is noisy, especially since there is no A/C, so open windows are necessary. But no. That was not the case even during the weekend (I arrived on a Friday). The only bad thing I can think of is the army of mosquitoes that are naturally there (the garden and its moisture) is a haven to them during the day. So the windows should be covered by mosquito nets. I will not hesitate to book a stay there again.

Great little place just a couple of minutes walk to the old square, loads of places to eat and drink close by, and within walking distance of loads of places to visit. My room and bed were clean and too warm for me so the lovely girl on reception brought a thermostat up and put it on my radiator so I could choose my own temp. Lovely hot shower and a kettle. What more do you need. Loved the building and the staircase is great loved the high ceilings, in fact nothing I could complain about. The member of staff I saw is a lovely young lady and so polite and helpful and I’m ashamed to say that I cannot remember her name, sorry. I would come back here again without hesitation, maybe not for some people but for me I felt comfortable and safe.

Myself and my daughter stayed in Krakow for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and to see Krakow. The Globtroter is in a fantastic position literally off the main square, 15 mins walk from the train station, castle and all other attractions. There are bars and restaurants all around. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and have loads of personality. If you are looking for a Premier Inn this is not it, if you are looking for a real taste of Polish life and character this is the one. I will be recommending this to all my friends and when I return to Krakow 100% will be staying here again. Thank you a wonderful trip.

This hostel very close to the old town square everything is within walking distance. Our room is clean however, ours was assigned on a very odd area - i think the residential part of the building. We were not at the main building at the hostel. Our room is at a corner location which is quiet except for occasional squeaky noises from the room next door. The rooms maybe outdated but the amenities are all well functioning (heater, tv, hot water) so for two nights it is acceptable for the price we paid.
