Me and my wife stayed in October for 4 nights
And could not fault the place. They arranged airport pickup and drop off for our flight home for €20 each way and it’s like a half hour drive so really cheap. We booked an Auschwitz tour and a trip to the salt mine through the hotel and it took was what day? and what time? And that was it, transport right outside the door. The hotel is lovely tucked away in the north side of town 15-20 walk into the main square (town centre)
Staff are very accommodating and will answer all your questions. Our room was down stairs on the ground floor (can’t remember the name). Had a bathroom on suite. The room was really good, really clean and no concerns at all (like some budget hotels) bed was comfortable too.
Stayed here for 4nights for ÂŁ90 so we was really happy with the level of comfort you get.

These apartments are excellent, and the location is fantastic also, 2 minutes walk from the main square. They have everything you would need including a washing machine. They are spotlessly clean. We booked our transfers through them, which was fantastic. The guy was waiting for us coming out of arrivals , the cost was 80pln or ÂŁ20. I would definitely recommend these apartments and if I return to KrakĂłw I will rebook them.

Wow . This is the second time we have stayed in Krakow and the second time we have used Sodispar as our agents. What can I say everything was exactly as described on their web site and the apartment (Florence ) was right in the heart of the city . The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that due to the proximity of the apartment ( right in the heart of the city ) it was a bit noisy , not at night as you may expect but first thing in the morning (6 am) due to the glass bins created by the bars below, being emptied by the bin men. The noise only went on for about 15 minutes so we could live with it . Made a cup of tea and went back to bed. We didn't have to use buses or taxis at any time and the square was literally round the corner . Everybody was just so pleasant and helpful . Do yourself a favour and book through Sodispar the next time you visit .Every email was answered and all services were delivered . First Rate

I stayed at the (Edmonton) Sodispar Apartment in Krakow, Poland, during the month of July 2012. The apartment was okay -- clean and fairly spacious. During my second night in Krakow, however, while I was across the hallway using the Internet, someone burglarized my apartment. They must have had keys to the front door of the apartment building and to my apartment because both doors were locked at the time and there was no sign of forced entry. The thief stole two of my bags, which included my passport, iPod, and about $700 cash. I was not able to meet with Jerzy, the Sodispar Apartment owner, until several weeks later because he was vacationing in Greece at the time of the burglary.

I will definitely never stay in a Sodispar Apartment again.

Dear qbelul, Please accept our deepest apologies for what had happened. Safety and security of our guests is of the uttmost importance to us. We decided to improve it to make sure all our guests have a best experience at SODISPAR Apartments. Our apartments are located in several buildings in the Old Town but only one with 24h reception. EDMONTON apartment is located in the building on Lubelska street. Our office is located in the same building and open 8am-8pm. The incident took place after 11pm and guest called our 24h emergency phone number. Staff on duty arrived to the apartment and assisted the Police during investigation until 4am. The following morning I was informed about the situation and spoke with you over the phone to provide all possible help and scheduled to meet in person immediately after my return to Krakow. We installed safe and new lock in your apartment to make sure you will feel secure during remaining 4 weeks of your stay. We helped you dealing with local Police. The officer in charge registered serial numbers of your passport and iPod. We will keep you informed of any progress in your case. Over past weeks we improved security in all our apartments. We installed 17" laptop size safes and changed locks in all our apartments. We posted security notice to remind our guests to make sure they keep apartment locked with the keys at all times. We also have installed CCTV monitoring system in the building. I hope similar situation will never happen again. Please again accept my sincerest apologies. Feel free to contact me directly if you need any additional assistance. Jerzy Jamski General manager - owner SODISPAR Apartments

First the good stuff: the staff at the Sodispar office were excellent on service, hospitality, and friendliness. It was easy to book; communications were excellent. Our train into Krakow was late. Their driver waited for us at the train station for an hour! We were greeted at the office with friendly faces, smiles, and good advice. We arrived at the main door of the building and entered a courtyard that came straight out of 1979 - cracked concrete, obscene graffiti, old greasy food smells and a staircase that hasn't been painted since WWII. We got to the front door of the apartment, escorted by our driver, to find that no one had given us the keys. That can happen - no big deal.

The keys were brought over quickly, the door opened and we entered our apartment alone. We had booked the Chicago apartment on Tomasza 33. The apartment smelled like old cooking and grease - it had not been aired in any recent time. We opened all the windows. The apartment was evidently cleaned at some point in the past but not recently - there was a light film of dust and grime on the surfaces; the floors and rugs looked dusty and thechandeliers and items that were stored on the tops of wardrobes had visible dust and cow webs. So, we said, we got what we paid for; the apartment was 2520 ĹĽĹ‚oty for 11 nights.

We entered the living room to find that the sofabed was made up for extra guests and the very large living room rug was rolled up and left at the side of the room - looking like a giant dust bunny. There were only two of us and there was a separate bedroom. We called the office again and they sent someone over the next morning to "fold up the sofa", dispose of the linens and roll out the rug. I did not want to start housekeeping on my first day in Krakow. We know the apartment had not been cleaned in awhile because when the cleaning staff did the mid-stay cleaning a week later, the apartment fell clean, bright and sanitary. The bathroom gleamed after cleaning. Kudos to the cleaning staff.

The worst of the problems came every night from the time we tried to fall asleep for the night to the time we might have been waking for a day in Krakow. It was noisy - the shouting, singing and laughter of revellers were with us every sleeping hour. There was only one night when it was cold and rainy that the noise ceased at around 2-sh am. There are four bars, clubs, pubs on the four corners near the apartment building. People hung out in the street all night and into the early morning. Have I stressed "every night"? The apartment was on the 1st floor, the windows had to be opened for ventilation - there was no way to escape the noise. My attempts to sleep were often punctuated by groans of "Oh No!" during some of the more hilarious moments of revellry. But we were not amused. The apartment had been advertised as "Quiet" "Quiet neighborhood" but it was absolutely not quiet!

The big plus here was the location - it was excellent with access to the square, the Planty and the streetcars only a minutes walk. A lovely, old historic neighborhood with a splash of the quirky and the shabby making an awkward transition to modern life. Book with Sodispar but don't stay at "Chicago".

After much searching for apartments in Krakow I went for this one. We weren’t disappointed. What a brilliant apartment in the best possible location and perfect for my family. Five minutes from the main square and surrounded by everything you need. It is fully furnished, spacious and has everything you could want - even down to coffee pods for the machine and a corkscrew. I would highly recommend for those first time visitors. Communication was fantastic with them arranging collection and drop off from the airport for us. We also arranged our trip to Auschwitz with them which was well organised and worth doing. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely come back. Thank you.

I stayed 2 nights and liked the accommodation. The room was large and comfortable. The TV was a bit wonky but I did not go to watch TV. There were full cooking facilities as well as refrigerator space. The staff was lovely and very attentive. It was a bit more of a hike to the center than I expected, but the walk was along interesting streets so that was ok. The first day I had rain and the distance was more problematic than on the following, clear days.

We booked to stay here in June for 4 nights based upon the fabulous reviews the apartments receive and also the great price! It was advertised with AC which was great as it was a very hot spell!
We were met at the airport by a lovely guy, very friendly and chatty. He sang the praises of our loft apartment...... Sadly it was quite grubby.... Now I know it was cheap but I don't think there is any excuse for dirt! We did take photos so can prove it! There was no shower - just a 'shower tap' and no curtain, so the bathroom was like a swimming pool in no time.
The bedroom was very small (ok, fair enough), but the AC unit was in the kitchen and lounge, so basically there was no effect of the unit inside the bedroom.
The furniture in the huge lounge area was very grubby and not nice to sit on, the floor was filthy - my black feet were proof of that.
Anyway, we checked out after just one night, and for just a few quid more, booked into the Hotel Maximillion which was pure luxury compared to Sodispar.
I'm sorry to write a negative review. The staff were all very nice and helpful but for me, cleanliness is everything! Bargain basement or not!

Dear CDWilson, Thank you very much for sharing your opinion. We are concerned that we didn't fulfill your expectations. We are deeply sorry for this situation. Two A/C units in the apartment are purposly mounted in the hallway so that cold air mixes (the bedroom is too small for A/C unit). We conducted housekeeping meeting with new staff to make sure the apartments are properly cleaned. We are sorry that even though you booked our cheapest room and we offered you free upgrade to much larger one bedroom apt (with bath tub) we disapointed you. Our housekeeping team has high standards and this has been a very rare oversight on their part - we thank you for taking the time to review us on Trip Advisor, all reviews are taken seriously and are used to improve our service to guests, your feedback is very much appreciated. Faithtully, Jerzy Jamski

I booked an apartment after reading the reviews on "tripadvisor”. I rented the "Chicago" apartment on Tomasza. We were so pleased with the apartment. It was clean and spacious. It was nice to have all the extra room that a hotel room just doesn't offer. I spoke to a few other people who were staying in hotels and actually brought one couple in to show them. They were so impressed with what they saw that they said that they would book the apartment when they returned next fall. It was nice to have a kitchen for the occasions we didn't feel like eating out - mostly breakfast. We were pleased with the shower – great water pressure and hot water on demand. The washing machine and the towel warmer were the icing on the cake. We were just a couple of blocks from the main market square. It was close enough for my 83 year old mother to get to, with very little effort, but far enough away from the bustling crowds. We also took advantage of their offer to have their driver pick us up from the airport. After the long flight it was nice to have a smiling face waiting for us. At that point I don’t think either of us would have had the energy to try to navigate the bus or rail system. The bottom line is - I will book with them again when I return to Krakow.
