Great hotel., good services.Hotel staff friendly efficient and helpful. Situated within 10 minutes of the city square. A great place to base your trips. Will be using this hotel again. Thank you all for making our stay comfortable and pleasant
The hotel itself was nice, the staff on the reception couldn’t be more helpful. I put average as the room was basic and the air con didn’t work. The breakfast was poor which was a huge let down for me. They had breakfast teabags then didn’t. Then if you didn’t come down early enough there was no hot food. Basically left with jam on toast. If you did get down the food was cold that should of been warm. Very bad breakfast service. Couldn’t help us more when the country locked down and they rang up for taxi and refund process. Again hotel was basic and breakfast was poor. Ladies couldn’t help us enough on reception. I would stay again if they improved the breakie.
I will give everybody that reads this a brief overview of why I wrote this and the reasons why I feel it is terrible service. This break was bought last year as part of my 50th birthday celebrations and because leave was booked we had no intention of cancelling and we still will visit Krakow as soon as we can. We booked and paid for the hotel because we were going and then COVID struck the planet and our flight was cancelled. We checked around for other flights and had no joy so I emailed the hotel and asked if we could have a credit note as Krakow was still on my list. We had paid previously and THERE WAS A NO CANCELLATION CLAUSE however this was not our fault and we wasn’t asking for our money back we were asking for a delay due to COVID however no response from the hotel!! We had only booked the hotel for two nights costing approximately 750 zloty (£160) which we felt was an excellent deal however, as we normally do we book cars 200 zloty had been agreed and booked trips to salt mines etc. And ate in their restaurant which would have got close to doubling the money we gave them. When discussing our driver meeting us in the terminal their messaging was almost instant and always within 5 minutes however when it comes to helping us out they fall silent. I am one of these people that expect a service provider to be courteous and Hotel Atrium definitely isn’t. We will go to Krakow and we will enjoy it and most importantly we will give our trade to a competitor of Hotel Atrium. I am now going to celebrate my 50th in Budapest and Krakow is earmarked for March 2021…
My boyfriend and I booked to stay here after a late flight into Kraków. Our friend's had also arrived earlier and been given a lovely room! We arrived to a horrible room but paid the same price (82). It was very clear they chucked us in a lower price room because we checked in late. We won't be staying here again.
Clean and comfortable friendly staff. Some refurbs going on but at reasonable times. Nice big room Shower good though looking a little tired was clean enough. Booked tour and airport Taxi with reception, very reasonable and efficient. Breakfast was typical continental with a few warm items, eggs 3 ways and spicy sausage, occasionally bacon ample to start the day. located just a few minutes from trams and Old Town. Busy but hotel was quiet.
