Clean and comfortable friendly staff. Some refurbs going on but at reasonable times. Nice big room Shower good though looking a little tired was clean enough. Booked tour and airport Taxi with reception, very reasonable and efficient. Breakfast was typical continental with a few warm items, eggs 3 ways and spicy sausage, occasionally bacon ample to start the day. located just a few minutes from trams and Old Town. Busy but hotel was quiet.

I liked everything about the Atrium . The staff were very helpful and friendly, and booked tours and taxis as required. The twin room was newly renovated, large and clean, and the beds comfortable. The location was excellent, close enough to the old town to be a short walk, but sufficiently away from it so that taxis could access it. There is a lovely little market at the end of the street too. The bar area in the hotel is lovely, and the breakfasts were good. I will stay here again when I return to Krakow.

Small, clean and comfortable hotel located in the heart of Kraków. Close to all amenities including the famous square and shopping mall. Walking distance to the main square. The continental breakfast was delicious! Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Kraków.

Just returned from a four night stay at Atrium. Well located, just a short walk to the main square. The hotel has obviously recently undergone a refurbishment of bedrooms and public areas which has been to a very high standard. The decor in the bedroom and bathroom was very modern with walk in shower etc. Perhaps as a consequence, the only thing we didn't like was the simple glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom. In our room this was partially frosted but we stayed with two other couples who were in similar rooms, one of which had clear glass through which you could view the free standing bath and toilet, and perhaps more pertinently, whoever was using 'the facilities'. Might not bother some but to us more conservative middle aged Brits who might prefer more privacy for their morning ablutions it was more of an issue!! That said, the rooms were clean and the lack of replenishment of tea, coffee etc (which was pointed out on check in) was not an issue . Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Bar and restaurant staff appeared inexperienced but were nevertheless very polite and helpful. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was superb. Likewise the breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice, hot and cold. Great value for money and would certainly stay again if it wasn't for the bathroom situation!

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. There is major renovations going on and the noise is terrible. Continuous drilling and hammering from early morning until early evening. The lift is full of chalk where the workmen carry their plasterboard etc up to the 3rd floor. We were given room 102 upon arrival and the noise level was so bad I wore my earphone around the room. The following morning we spoke to the manager who moved us to room 409 on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel. But it really was not much better you could still hear the drilling and hammering. She also gave us a voucher for the restaurant to the value of £30. The food in the restaurant was ok at best. The staff were extremely rude (except one girl with blonde hair in the evening who was very polite) There was a waiter who just simply waved us away when we asked if he needed our room number. The same waiter made us wait 25 minutes for a bottle of wine even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. I am sure this is normally a nice hotel. But they definitely should tell guest that they are undergoing major renovations when booking. I would never have booked this hotel had I been aware if this. We also book a visit to Auschwitz through the hotel about 4 weeks before our arrival. We requested the 7.30am departure and that was confirmed by email. When we arrived we were told that it would be 11am departure and took 1.5 hours to get there. You visit two camps and we felt it was very rushed. We did not get to spend as long as we would have liked at this historical place having to miss quite a few things due to time. This was our main reason for coming to Kraków in the first place. We were not told by the hotel the reason for the change just that it was ‘better’. The taxi driver was very polite and helpful but again we felt it was all very rushed. All the above did have an impact on our first experience of Kraków.
