The location is superb, you couldn't get more central if you tried. We stayed in room 45 with a small balcony with the best view of the main square. The balcony is really small but it has the best views. Only a few downsides about our stay. Firstly, the organisation of the taxi's/trips wasn't the best. We asked for the taxi to pick us up at 9:30am instead of 10am the night before we were due to leave but the receptionist never told the taxi company so it was kept at 10am (this was resolved on the morning and we got collected at 9:45am). We also booked the Auschwitz Tour and was told we would be collected at around 9am from the hotel reception. The night before we got a call from reception telling us that we would need to walk to the meeting point instead (due to the marathon closing some roads, fair enough), but we needed to be there for 11am? This delayed our day and we had to cancel plans we had in the afternoon to compensate for the delay. I wouldn't let the above put me off staying again, I would definitely stay again and recommend others to do the same.

Absolutely outstanding nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. The reception staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. Breakfast was fabulous lots of choices couldn’t fault anything especially the location. The room was spotless and the view was amazing no 33 overlooking the square! The only hotel to stay in krakow in our opinion. Thanks for a very memorable stay. ❤️

I made our reservation 6 months ahead, and the hotel immediately emailed back that I would have room 41, which is the largest balcony room, 25 square meters, at the western end of the top floor (the American 5th floor). There is a small balcony directly overlooking the Main Square, which is lit up and busy at night, from where we could hear the hejnal from the church tower. The room is large, spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. It was quiet, very clean, but a little worn. The bathroom is large, and has a tub and shower. At first, I was a bit concerned about the 6-inch foam-like mattress, but I found it quite comfortable. The largest room, 31, directly below ours, is 33 square meters, but has no balcony. The staff was all very nice. Breakfast was good and filling. We were given 2 bottles of water daily. There are signed photos of 3 previous guests in the lobby, including Sting and Hilary Swank. The hotel recommended a small currency exchange at the northwest corner of the Square, and walking all around town, we confirmed that it had the best rate, but the hours were only from 9 to 5.

This was the best hotel that I ever stayed in. The view of the square was AMAZING. The staff was so incredibly kind. I got very sick when I was in Krakow, and the hotel staff arranged for a doctor to come to our room. What amazing service! This hotel is in the middle of so many great Churches and restaurants. It’s close to the tram stop and the train station. I just can’t wait to go back there. I loved the hotel, I loved the staff, and I loved Krakow. Thank you to the hotel staff for helping us with Everything! Your Friend, Megan in Kansas

Very central, the location is perfect for exploring the city, quiet, warm, comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds a bit low for my not-very-agile husband, but comfortable. Not a flashy place, but solidly good. The staff were helpful and always present on the desk. There’s a tea/coffee making facility in the nice upstairs conservatory (although it tends to be re-set around 7am when I wanted my morning tea) and a pleasant-looking outdoor space for summer. Good value as a base for seeing Krakow.

This is a great little hotel, beautifully furnished with large rooms and high ceilings and quirky original art works. It is the only hotel actually on the square so gets 5 stars for location. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would have happily given overall 5 stars but there were a couple of problems. While the hotel boasts internet, it really didn't work in the rooms on the second floor. I asked every day to fix it but nothing was done. It was quite clear that there was not enough bandwidth or signal strength - the staff know about it but nothing is done. My second minus is a strange one and only relates to room 21 as far as I know. The huge 4 poster bed has a 100mm brown plinth around it which extends to 90cm from the bed. The number of times both of us nearly went flying left us to wonder whether one or both of us would leave without a broken limb. Its a beautiful room with a view over the square but this is a killer feature.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better for the sights of Krakow. If you are lucky the sights can be seen from your hotel window. However I'm writing the review to say there are also rooms facing the back . Far less scenic! So bear this in mind when you are booking (I didn't). Other than that, the hotel was great with a waiter served breakfast.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a concert in Kraków. We chose a room with a balcony. The views did not disappoint. The room had most amenities such as sewing kit and shoe polish. Many restaurants and cafès less than 100 yards located within the square. The receptionists were always welcoming and friendly. We will be back! Very well priced for a truly 4 star experience.

Arrived on Friday all bars and restaurants closed Saturday which was a great shame for us as we couldn’t go out for a meal drink etc. The hotel staff were amazing Alexander, Daniel & Gabriella couldn’t do enough, as the hotel was empty Alexander up graded us to the top floor with wonderful views of the square. The place was a great location couldn’t of been more central. Went to the camps which are horrific and should never be forgotten. Salt mines and the city tour again our tour guides were so friendly and helpful. Really recommend this hotel staff are wonderful really enjoyed poland lovely place..
