one of the best locations in the old town to stay in....on a charming quiet side street with several restaurants right there.....the only tram stop in the oldtown right around the corner.....charming owner right on the premises.....sometimes I could hear the faint sounds of Mass being said in the church at the end of the street or the faint sounds of distant footsteps and conversations as they approached.....it was so romantic in that sense...….2 flights of old European stairs,(think 4)…...3 keys to access the various doors.....barrel vaulted entrance.....if you are sensitive to noise, ask for an interior room as opposed to one on the street as the noise can echo off the buildings......for the money you cant beat this place

I stayed here for five nights and had a very comfortable stay. I had a room facing the courtyard which was very quiet. The room itself was spotless and well maintained. The location is excellent, just a five minute walk from the Main Square and with a small grocery store just down the street. I had no problems taking a cab from the train station here so I would recommend that over a cab from the airport if you want to save some money. Breakfast next door at the Black Duck was good although maybe a tad expensive at 30PLN. The owners were super friendly and although they aren't physically on the premises were able to help me with any questions I had via e-mail. I had originally wanted a place with reception but this worked out okay for me. I'm a fairly self-sufficent traveller,

They don't have reception, so you have to contact the lady owner to open the door (who needs to improve her English a bit). The place is in the center and the room was very clean and nice. You have towels, a kettle and a couple of cups of teas. The way to give back the key it's quite simple, you just put it in a box they have... The breakfast it's given by a coffe just nextdoor, the Black Duck, very good and a lot of variety. The girls also were very nice.

The residence is in the old city: perfect for visiting. All the monuments, museums, and a lot of restaurants, and bars are nearby, reachable by walk. The room itself was very clean and nice. Joanna and Fabian, that run the place, are very nice and provided me with a lot of useful information. Overall, very good experience!

The location is perfect for a city trip! You stay in the old city and are surrounded by sights, restaurants and brunch/breakfast/coffee bars. Kazimierz is also within walking distance. The big shopping centre is located just outside the city centre (a 15 minute walk from here) The rooms were modern and clean, the contact person professional and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Room for improvement: the wifi did not work well & we did not have a small refrigerator in the room.

No breakfast. Central location about halfway between Castle and Old Town Main Square. Had quiet room #2 facing rear courtyard with tree. About 3 stars on European 5 star rating system. Original creaking wood floors, clean room, has about 12 rooms on 3rd floor above street level. Minimal room furnishings. Could use full window drape or shade. I walked 20-30 minutes from Krakow Glowny train station on nice tree lined boulevard to the hotel. Just off of Pawa/Westerplatte streets then Dominikanska to Poselska. Very near many restaurants, cafeterias, and stores. Great relaxful genuine Thai oil massage in business next door (around $42.USD). No A/C if it gets hot in summer.

I stayed at the Pokoje Poselska 20 for six nights. It's a traditional old building, and my room was located on the second floor. It was surprisingly modern and very clean and spacious. The stairs might, however, prove difficult for those with walking difficulties. The owner Anna and her staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant, even providing me with a brolly when rain was forecast. It's just a short, pleasant walk (about 5/6 minutes) from the beautiful Rynek (Market Square). It's also very peaceful at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

Visited Krakow with my 13 year old sister and stayed here. Brilliant place to stay! When booked was in email communication with joanna about the stay, she also offered to arrange taxi transfer from the airport for us which was a great help! Prior to arrival was made clear to us that the payment is in cash only so this was not an issue. Upon arrival was met and shown around the appartment, the staff are superb and willing to help in any way possible e.g. recommending where to eat etc. Location was excellent right in the centre! The room was also very spacious and extremely clean. Nothing bad to say, would happily stay here again and recommend to others. Note that the apartments are on the second floor only accessible via stairs, and therefore may not suit all guests.

This was the kind of stay you wish for on every trip. The room and ensuite was huge, clean and comfortable and perfectly located just south of the old square. The owners, Joanna and Fabian, are a lovely young couple, who went out of their way to help us with information, restaurant revommendations etc. They organised a taxi for the airport and booked a tour to Auschwitz. And the room was reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Location is perfect! Five minutes walk from the main square, yet in a quite street. Spacious, clean room, Joanna is very friendly and helpfull ( a very good artist also). The guesthouse is located on the second floor of an old ambient building but the room was modernly decorated.
