Wonderful hotel right in the old town, directly between the main square and castle. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and very affordable given the area. The owners are particularly friendly and helpful, offering advice on what to visit and endlessly generous with their property. Highly recommended, you won't find a better place to stay in Krakow!

Really great location in beautiful old town Krakow. Bright, clean apartment with everything you need. Lovely shower, modern bathroom.
Joanna was absolutely wonderful and so kind and helpful.
Cannot recommend highly enough! Particularly for lone female travellers, it felt very safe.

We loved staying in this apartment in Kraków. Our hosts Joanna and Fabien were just the best. A nice welcome and made us feel at home straight away. Nice clean spacious apartment looking over a courtyard. Big spacious bathroom, lots of storage. Great location. Easy walking distance to all the points of interest, many cafes. Thanks to Joanna and Fabian also for all the advice they have given us on where to dine and places to visit. One of the restaurants that Joanna had recommended was Pino, it was sensational, beautiful fresh food at a reasonable cost. We went there twice, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Super clean rooms, super helpful the couple running it. Krakow is an amazing city and the room was really central yet on a quiet street at the same time. The hotelier called us a cab, had really useful advice for us vegetarians and I even left my purse on the step outside and he is posting it to me in Ireland! happy dayz!

We stayed in Poselsa 20 for 2 nights in April. We couldn't ask for a better location - in the very heart of the old town, just between the Wawel Royal Castle and the Main Market Square (5 min walk to the castle, less than a minute walk to the square), in the pedestrains zone (hense no noise). The room was specious, very clean, had all facilities we needed (TV, free wireless internet). Breakfast is in the next-door hotel for a very afordable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And finally, the price - a great deal! We will be staying there again in July (perhaps this is the best recommendation).

Poselska 20 is a pension on a quite side street off the main road and a couple hundred metres away from the main square, the Heart of Krakow.

The pension is an excellent choice if you are a budget traveller looking for a central base: it is clean, has an ensuite with shower and a televion. The owner who lives there is a perfect host and always ready to help. Moreover, the place is surrounded by excellent restaurants and tourist attractions that will keep you busy for days. I reccomend this place for its category.

We would definitely stay here again, it's a great location just a few minutes walk from the main square. We stayed in room 9 which I would describe as being lovely and warm, very clean, large comfy bed, great shower, small kitchenette with a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The decor is quite contemporary and it all looked very new. Joanna was extremely helpful arranging our taxi to and from the airport, I just couldn't fault this place in any way and we would definitely stay here again.

I stumbled upon this place during my 1st trip to Krakow 4 months ago just walking through the street. I then research it and read the great reviews. I fell in love with the city of Krakow and it's people and just had to go back. The location of this guesthouse is just perfect. It's about a 12 minute walk from the train station and just a few blocks from the main square. I emailed the guesthouse directly to make my reservation and ask questions. Joanna always responded quickly. As we arrived my husband and I were greeted by Joanna who showed professionalism and made us feel at home. The rooms and bed were comfortable and clean. Joanna even made arrangements to tour Auschwitz and also set up a taxi to take us to the airport on our last day. She really made us feel at home in the magical city of Krakow. I will stay at Pokoje Poselska 20 again and recommend it to all.

While travelling to Krakow for a conference at the Jagiellonian University, I chose Pokoje Poselska for its reasonable price and location between the university and my colleagues staying in the Jewish quarter. The hotel is located in Old Town only 5min from the main square, around the corner from the tram and taxi stop, and 10min from Wawel Castle. Restaurants, shops and money exchanges are all within walking distance.

From the outside of the hotel, it doesn't look like much. Truth be told, it's more of a rental room than a hotel as there is no reception desk and shares the building with other tenants. However, the rooms have all the basic needs for a single traveler or a couple staying for a few days, to include a water heater and free wifi. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bed could use replacing since parts of it had sloped in. The bathroom comes with a hair dryer and has a stand up shower which may be a little tight for a large person. The rooms aren't sound proof and the floors creak a bit, but during my stay, I felt it was quiet enough.

The best part about this hotel is the hostess, Joanna, in my opinion. Immediately after booking, she emailed me to coordinate my arrival time. Since there is no reception desk, Joanna buzzed me into the building and personally welcomed me upon arrival to give me my keys and an orientation map. She is great with pointing out places to eat, shop for groceries, change money, or address any other questions or requests. She even emailed me to inform me of my pick up time with a local touring company. Guests should communicate with her via email, but she does live on the property if you can catch her.

Overall, I had a nice and comfortable stay, thanks to Joanna. However, with it being such a tight place, I would not recommend for families with small children.

Important to know:
-This hotel only accepts Euro or Zloty. No credit cards.
-The hotel is two flights upstairs. No elevator.

The Good:
-Location
-Free internet
-Price
-Personal Service from Joanna

The Bad:
-Room is a little tight
-No reception desk

Very nice hostel with spacious rooms in a central though relatively quiet location. The place is run by a very friendly Polish/German couple who'll also get you started on where to go and what to see. Very clean. Free WiFi. No Breakfast, but plenty of Cafes only a few steps away. I'd always come back.
