We had to arrange to go to a nearby hostel to collect our keys as the flower rooms has no reception or anyone there to man it. We collected our code from the Yellow hostel as asked, and was given a map to find flower rooms. It's down a side street and was easy to miss (which we did). Got in fine, our room was an apartment on the top floor. There was no one else around. Our apartment had a very comfy double bed that was made up and a single unmade bed. We had a floor fan, which was a godsend in the warm 27 degree heat.. We had filter coffee, tea, sugar and two plates, cups, cutlery etc. The shower was very nice but the sink in the bathroom seemed to be broken, the plug wouldn't come out once pushed in. The phone didn't work to report it so we left a note. There was plenty of spacein the apartment. We would definitely stay again. …
They tell you it’s in the center and when you do the check in , they tell you it’s on another place! The studio is dirty, small, the bed is awful. When I asked to change, they gave me a trim In the yellow hostel but they made me pay for both rooms without saying it! It’s a shame!!!
Stayed here for a city break. Great communication beforehand by email, taxi waiting at airport as requested despite plane being 1.5 hrs late. Arranged trips beforehand they hotel all went to plan. Fabulous location very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean. Can be noisy but that’s to be expected in the middle of the city. Would stay again
My friend and I stayed here for 1 night in twin en suite with shared kitchenette. Perfect location, around corner from main area, Market Square. Clean. Not modern could possibly do with an update. Sent keys with driver who collected is at airport. Difficult to contact staff for check in and payment (possibly because of Easter weekend) Overall very good value for money.
My friends and I stayed there for a weekend. They were waiting us with towels on the beds and mineralwater on the table for everyone. (Towels are basic but the mineralwater is a unic and nice thing for me in a hostel) The staff was kind and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and there are a lot of dvds seasons of Friends, Futurama and things like them. It's distance from the mainsquare is so short, I couldn't even finish my cigarette till i got there! I can only recomend it! :)
We were in room 1, and we stayed here for a week. The room, was small and would probably have been the perfect size had we not been staying for such a long period. (+)'s - The room was clean, very fresh sheets and towels provided. It was an excellent location, close to everything you need and want to see. (-)'s - There is no air con, and we went when temperatures were reaching 25-35 degrees. We really could have done with a fan or something. Occassionally it was very loud, many due to the fact there was a bar's balcony below our window. Often a bad smell emerging from one of the other bathrooms, we could never really track where or why it was happening but wasnt great. Worth pointing out for those with alot of luggage, it is up two flights of stairs and there is not a lift! I had a lovely stay, and although little things I would change I would definately go back. It was safe, clean and staff were very friendly!…
I was very impressed with the room I had and in fact I would happily bring my wife to stay in the same room this summer. The location is excellent, on one of my favourite streets in Krakow, and, surprisingly, I got a great night's sleep. My only complaint is the long walk up the stairs......but then again.....I am not exactly....or at all.....fit.
I stayed in studio, which was actually small one-room apartment with own kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. When I arrived, I got keys, map of the city Krakow and in the room there were clean linen and towels waiting for me. Furthermore, in the kitchenette you can find basically everything you need - caffe, sugar, water. The bathroom was very clean, too. The hostel is quiet so you can get a good sleep and enjoy private sphere. At last, the staff is very friendly and helpful. After few days they sent me an e-mail, asking if I need clean towels or linen.
We had a room for two, which was actually for 4 - plenty of space with a table and chairs. Beds were not that comfy, but still it was good enough. We spend there one night only. There is a private bathroom outside the room which is convenient (private) and inconvenient (outside | You need to walk there with all Your staff). There is a kitchen where You can make a coffee or tea.
This is a great hostel to stay over for a quick weekend away! Cheap and right in the middle of town. Over the road you have a mini supermarket with everything you need. The room included a kitchen with everything equipped, the bathroom had a weird smell but had a very good warm shower that was needed on those cold days! The girl on reception was very helpful and shown us some tours to do and recommended places to eat on the night :) bed could of had better pillow but apart from that it was a great mini studio for what we payed for !!
