My wife and I had a belated honeymoon staying at various European cities and stayed at the galaxy whilst we were in kraków.
The hotel was as great as the two times we have stayed there before, extremely clean, friendly and professional staff, the room was great overlooking the river and being on the 5th floor we didn't hear any noise from the dance convention that was running throughout the night.
Breakfast was great, plenty of selection and catered for everybody's taste.
Thank you to all the staff and management of the hotel galaxy we will certainly return as we love your city and we love your hotel.

The hotel location is not far from the city center, close to a small and nice mall, close to the Jewish quarter.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Breakfast was rich with warm and cold dishes, fruits, etc. only the pastries were not excellent.
Bus transportation from the hotel to the airport is available at a reasonable price.
I will definitely recommend this hotel.

We were so relieved when we arrived here having stayed at a string of nightmare hotels over the past year. The staff were a delight and the room was so thoughtfully laid out. A comfortable king sized bed, an actual dressing table with a light and a mirror! Soft lighting that remains on through the night if you want it. A shower that does not drench the floor. Complementary water, paper cups for hygiene. The room and the hotel itself was incredibly clean and of a wonderful size. The only slight downfall is that location is not ideal: but we quickly learnt that Uber is a wonderful and cheap way of getting around. It is about 30 minutes walk from the old town - which is fine in decent weather. Another minor and insignificant complaint to be aware of is the fact that the tourist information woman in the hotel when we arrived was as helpful as a chocolate teapot. We named her ‘milk it’ as when we asked for information, all she tried to do was sell us ludicrously priced tours, then when we didn’t buy into it, she gave my husband incorrect tram information (that was before we knew about Uber) so we were stuck on the wrong tram station in the rain for ages until we eventually found someone who spoke English and was able to assist us.
However, we found Aneta on reception lovely and kind at all times and very helpful as well as the porter boy.
Breakfast was typical: continental and cooked. The quality and variety varied depending on what time you got there. It was convenient that it went on until 10:30 though as most hotels choose to finish at 10.
Unfortunately, being here for only 3 nights we didn’t get to use the spa. I was thinking of a massage but when I saw their prices matched those of the spas in the UK, I was put off. I was not expecting that in Poland.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay. We could have happily stayed longer in our delightful room. If we returned, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Galaxy.

It was a pleasant stay, but do not expect 4 stars. I’ve spent in this hotel 7 nights in family room. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and equipped in everything you would need for the stay. A little fridge is smelling weirdly cause it is placed in unventilated cabinet.
Breakfast buffet is quite varied. But due to the fact, that the hotel was overcrowded it was hard to get the breakfast table, the lift or parking place. In the restaurant the guests "hunted" for tables or ate in the foyer and nobody from the hotel staff cared about it. The hotel management did absolutely nothing to solve the problem. Overbooking in the parking lot, for which I paid in advance for the whole week, should also not take place. On Saturday there was no spare parking place, I got an answer form receptionist that: “parking place is not secured for the guests” (but I have paid for 7 days?). Afterwards I did receive an offer to park on the second one, but when asked how to enter it, I was replied that I should find it in google maps – that is a poorly provided service that should not happen in the four stars hotel (there were several more situations).
The hotel’s policy regarding covid seems to be inconsistent. On one side the rooms are to be cleaned only for the special whish of guests (due to the pandemic), on the other side no one cares if the guests wear the facial masks in common spaces (and most of the guests don’t do it) and the hotel organizes huge wedding parties. In result the cleaning standard is less than 3 stars. Each time one has to ask minimum one day in advance to get the room cleaned. If one does not express directly the wish to change towels or bed clothes the cleaning lady will not change them by herself. The hotel’s staff is nice but trained poorly how to behave in various situations. One has the impression they actually do not care, if there is a noise (they do not react), if something does not work properly or if you are not satisfied.

We stayed here for three nights earlier this month, the hotel is in the south of the city and of you don't mind sight seeing, it's perfect. Probably 20-30 minutes walk to the main square, but loads to do, see and eat locally. The breakfast was great, good choice, we left for Auschwitz at 6.20am and the hotel provided a free packed lunch instead of breakfast which was delicious. All of the staff were really friendly and very accommodating. We arranged for the hotel shuttle to collect us from the airport, it was 90 Zloty each way, so very easy and fairly priced. Be careful in the bathroom, if the floor gets wet from the shower it can get very slippy. If I come back to Kraków I would definitely stay again.

After booking a romantic weekend city break for Christmas I couldn’t wait to arrive in Kraków.. upon arrival to galaxy hotel the receptionist told us there had been a mistake with our reservation and they didn’t have the same price or package we had brought, after travelling all day she agreed to let us leave it as it is as a deposit but our spa package and massage had to be sorted later.. finally got to the room was ok but basic.. went to get some dinner arrived back to the hotel and went to look at the spa, the steam room was not working correctly, hot tub had no water in it and the pool was unbearably cold. Then after what seemed like a rubbish start to our trip things just got worse the noise in our room was terrible loud music and shouting till early hours of the next morning, was so bad I had to go to down to reception and complain at 4am, they agreed to move us to a new room, but this time we have to separate single beds not ideal for a couples weekend, the bathroom has no privacy and also a light that keeps you up plus still noise from the road. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely will not be returning, our trip is now ruined as we was only here for two full days due to lack of sleep the trips and sights we wanted to see will now be missed! Very disappointed!!

Well priced and deserved of it four stars. Reception area open, bright and clean and hosts a restaurant, shop, reception and bar.
Reception staff, where polite and efficient. We didn’t use the restaurant or shop but the girl on the bar was not rude but could have been more helpful, at times she appeared bored.
The room we booked was a business suite, which was a good size, it included, a queen size bed, a mini bar, toiletries, a room safe, toiletries, lovely dressing gowns and slippers.
It is within easy access to Schindler’s factory, the old town and Jewish sector.
It was worth every penny.

We stayed there for two nights and it so happened that a music festival or event was also being held there over the weekend, so it was very busy even during breakfast. The room we stayed in was small and the bathroom was always soaked mainly because only a small glass shower divider was installed in the shower area. So be careful when taking a shower so that you won't slip upon exiting. We also found the beds and furnishings in the basic room to be, well, basic. There is a mall almost beside the hotel, but aside from that, there is no nearby restaurants or bars. Tourist spots were also quite a distance away.

Of course the location of the hotel is not a secret. It is located in the Jewish Quarter - Kazimierz, so the attractions of this district are located very close. There are also restaurants and pubs located near the hotel. Additionally, under the hotel there is a WOWKrakow service stop! Hop On Hop Off service, thanks to which you can visit the city, take advantage of additional attractions and take part in a gondola cruise on the Vistula in the summer. Best regards.

Myself, husband & daughter stayed at Hotel Galaxy from Friday to Monday. The hotel is in a great location next to the River Vistula. Around a 25 min walk to The Old Town Main Square & a 20 min walk to Oscar Schindler's Factory which are both worth a visit when in Krakow.
We stayed in a Suite as there was 3 of us. The room had one main bathroom with a separate toilet & sink which was handy. Room was spotlessly clean, warm & spacious. The fridge was well stocked & there was plenty of hanging space for our clothes.
We were picked up at 6.15am on Saturday to go to Auschwitz & the Salt Mines & the hotel kindly made up 3 breakfast bags for us to take with us. These included warm rolls, cereal bars, fruit, fruit juice & water & were very tasty.
We would recommend staying at Hotel Galaxy.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2020 for a short break to celebrate my wifes 50th birthday. The hotel was fantastic in every way from the well appointed lobby/bar area and the very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean with maid service every day and also benefit from a free safe and free wifi. The hotel also has pool and gym which we did not use due to not having enough time to visit them. My daughter contacted the hotel prior to our visit and organised a birthday package from them which included flowers, assortment of fruit and cakes and a birthday card ready in the room on our arrival which were fantastic and a lovely surprise for my wife. The free breakfast was great but due to covid was served by the staff but they were very efficient and quick. There is a shopping mall within a 10 minute walk with plenty of eateries upstairs and the main square is a good 30 min walk which we both enjoyed. I would just like to say a big Thank you to all staff for making out stay a comfortable and memorable one and hope to see you again in the near future John and N icky .

Because g choice at breakfast, we enjoyed it. Mostly continental with a few hot items. Teas, coffees etc, different juices, cereals, meats, cheese etc.
