The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the airport and set next to a train line in a residential area. Krakow town is a 10 minute drive which does not cost much if you use an Uber. If you flag one down however they charge a lot more. The hotel is very clean and likewise the rooms were also very clean. Ours had a mini bar and safe. It had a hairdryer which is not so good if you have long think hair but would work well on thin hair. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion was supplied and smelt lovely. The room itself was very small with a double bed and the only mirror was in the corner which when the hairdryer is plugged in will not reach the mirror. There was a mirror in the bathroom. I would recommend you bring a mirror with you if you need one to style hair. The air conditioner didn’t work and the room got hot we didn’t open the outside door as the sound of the trains were very noisy with the open door. I didn’t hear anything when shut. A nice continental breakfast was served in the morning from 7am. I particularly liked the bread. All in all a pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Very well presented, clean and modern hotel. The staff were all very accommodating, polite and friendly. We had breakfast each morning and 2 evening meals - very good food (especially the evening meals) and reasonably priced. Rooms were kept clean, the bed was comfy and shower was great! The mini bar had a good selection of items.
The hotel is situated outside of krakow old town but only a 5 minute walk to the tram and a 15 minute ride into the town - really easy to travel into the old town and trams run constantly.
Would 100% recommend staying here and would stop here again when we return to Krakow. Thank you all at Garden Square Hotel. 😊

Staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We sat in the bar area every night and was made to feel welcomed. We would recommend coming here on both short and long stays. Ubers also pick you up directly from outside the hotel! Old town is just 15-20 min car journey from here.

We were allocated this hotel via Krakow short city break we bought online. Having checked out the reviews, we accepted the choice and what a good decision that was.
If you are looking for somewhere close to the city with outstanding views, this isn't for you. However, this hotel is within 5 minutes walk of the very efficient rail and tram public transport systems that gets you into the city with 15-20 minutes. Although close to the local stations, we were not disturbed by any noise.
The hotel itself is a modern looking building at the end of a long cul-de sac and is adjacent to the railway lines. There is a local delicatessen about 5 minutes walk away.
We stayed on a B&B basis, but used the restaurant every evening for dinner. The service was excellent and the food matched that....and more. Lovely ambiance about the restaurant and staff were happy to explain meals on the menu that we weren't familiar with.
The breakfast was something else - one of the best buffet breakfasts we have ever enjoyed. Vast array of hot and cold dishes, ranging from Eastern European style cold meats and cheeses with salads, cereals and fruits, variety of breads, pastries to sausages eggs, French toast and pancakes. The team of staff worked endless to keep the supplies plentiful and looking splendid.
Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, armchairs and a wall mounted TV. The bathroom was excellent with quality soaps, lotions and double size walk in shower. The only observation I might make about the accommodation was the absence of any bedside drawers, there being just a table top.
We would certainly stay there again.

We stayed for 4 days and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I've never stayed in a hotel this good, everything was clean, new and fresh. My favourite part of the room was the 'closed balcony' extention with chairs, but for some reason the coldness from the outside always creeped in and there was nothing we could do about it. It didn't bother us much though. We had some problems with setting the temperature; we couldn't figure out how to turn it on, but succeeded in the end 😆 The bathroom was also beautiful, there' s a big walk-in shower with tiles on the floor that resemble pavement so you basically cannot slip even if you tried. The toilet also has a great flush, if anyone's interested in that 🫢 Also the bathroom has a 'mood lighting' option, so showers are 10/10. Regarding breakfast, it was amazing, there's so much to choose from and there's even gluten-free options. The hotel even has a sauna, a gym/fitness room and a playroom for children (we didn't visit any of those). The staff is very friendly and every day they would tidy our room a bit (make the bed and clean the bathroom; I didn't notice they vacuumed, but it was maybe because we had our suitcases all over the floor 😆 they did fold the clothes that were on the bed and it was a really nice surprise for us). The hotel is next to a train and tram station, so if you want to go to the center and don't have a car, you can take a tram number 8 and in around 15 minutes you're in the center! I would definitely stay in that hotel again if I ever come back to Kraków 🥰

What a fantastic hotel! Staff were more than helpful and incredibly professional, the hotel was very stylish and immaculate, the room was the most luxurious room I have stayed in and offered room service as well as a very reasonably priced mini bar. The hotel bar provides a very relaxed and trendy vibe and although I didn't use it as I personally don't drink the atmosphere was fantastic. The breakfast on offer was tremendous! I will be missing that breakfast until I stay again! Reception staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to book us a trip to visit the former Auschwitz concentration camp. The housekeeping team do an amazing job and I regret I couldn't leave them a bigger tip as I had exhausted all of my polish currency. I shall be recommending the garden square hotel to all my friends hoping to visit Krakow in the near future. Again thankyou to all staff at the Garden Square hotel you are all amazing!

Excellent location of the hotel. Despite the fact that there is a train station nearby, no noise bothers you. The hotel has very good sound insulation; when fully occupied, you couldn’t hear your neighbors. The mattresses are comfortable. Water in the room is replenished daily. Hassle free check in and out. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to anyone who visits Krakow. Very near to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy and the Sanctuary of St. John Paul II. I recently visited here with my step dad, and both of us were so impressed!! We booked separate rooms, of which were next to each which was great. Staff are so friendly, and attentive, nothing is too much. The rooms are absolutely spotless, and they have plenty of facilities within them. We stayed for 2 nights, and had breakfast included, and all I have to say is wow! It’s the best continental breakfast I have had, I’ve never seen so much selection, and they also offer gluten free bread, and dairy free milk, which I thought was brilliant. The lady on reception who checked us in, and out was absolutely lovely, and so pleasant. The location was perfect for us, it is a little bit out the way of the Krakow city centre, however this is easily reachable by taxi or tram.
