Booked this well in advance as we needed something cheap and cheerful for five of us for two nights. Receptionist was friendly, spoke great English (useful as we didn’t speak any Polish) and sorted our room keys quickly. Even though we were told check-in was from 2.00pm, we arrived two hours earlier in the hope that at least one room would be ready so we could dump our bags but all rooms were available. Rooms were clean, tidy and each had two single beds and a compact shower room. Perfect for what we needed. Had breakfast on the first morning which cost 20 zlotys and it was nothing special. Machine dispensed juices and coffee, some cold meats and cheeses, some cottage cheese type stuff and some very tired looking scrambled eggs. Breakfast was the only downside to what was a really good stay for the money and I’d go back.…
Hotel is clean ,provided with shower gel and shampoo. Was chosen because of good price and guarded parking space. The only thing a little far from downtown, you have to walk about 15 minutes to take tram 52 to downtown. It will take you about 40 minutes in total to get to central square. Tickets you can buy in tram but only with coins (!) Or in special blue ticket boxes on some station. Last word - order breakfast here!!! Awesome! Coffee machine, meat, yogurt, cheese, juices and much more. Tastes just delicious. Cost for breakfast only 20 zlotyh
Warm, clean, 20-25 minutes from city centre (by tram), free wi-fi in rooms, good breakfast menu, polite staff on reception, unpolite staff in dinning room, leviatan store is very near... All in all-positive experince.
Positives: It was exactly what we needed. Clean and functional. Receptionist was very nice. We arrived late at night so there wasn't any parking available in private parking section but they had 2 parking spots in front of the hotel and they were under video surveillance. We took the tramp no. 52 to get to the downtown (you can buy tickets in the tramp) - it takes 25 mins to get there. The price was also great so I would return anytime. Negatives: Nothing to complain about really, just one thing was kinda weird and that was toilet. The angle in which toilet is on the floor doesn't allow you to sit on it normally, you have to shift your legs kinda sideways. Little bit weird :)
All the best! It is great hotel with nice, clean rooms :) for me, most important in the hotel is that room is clean and warm if the winter is outside :) in our case, we stayed a few days and outside was very very cold, I liked when we went in the center and came back, in room was so warm and nice, like we were at house. Food is excellent! Center is a few kilometres far, but it is not problem because there is the bus.
The lowest price in Cracow and deffinitely NOT the lowest quality. The room was clean and comfy. The receptionist very polite and kind, always smiling. We did have our Yorkie with us, and although for the dog supposed to be additional payment, we didn't have to pay. We really appreciated it! In the hotel, there's little 'restaurant', which is open long hours, and in just a few steps, there is quite a big shop. The hotel is not in the center of the city, it's placed in the middle of residential area and a police station, which makes it safe ;]
Stayed here for 2 nights which were very long! Appeared to be plastic sheets on the bed (didn't check so could be wrong) the location is quite a way from town, a 5-10min walk to the tram stop then a 30min ride into town. No wifi, no air-con & no fridge, asked for some ice (as needed to keep some medication cold) told they had none but then they had some 10mins later for a bucket of wine stating they had just made it! I even asked if there was a shop I could buy some & was told all shops closed (what in all of Polsnd!?!) Noise seemed to travel very easily. The shower was broken & leaked & our double room was a twin...
Spend a couple of night there, it's not in the center of Krakow, but there is enough public transport to go cc. The restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly. They speak English and are happy to help you out and tell you stories about the city
We spent two nights here and could not have been more pleasantly suprised! The price was so low we were a bit thoughtfull what was to come.. But, clean rooms, very helpfull staff, East to get to though it is quite far away. You get there with tram 52 which brings you straight quite close to the Hotel. My full recommendations :)
I know is not close from city center but with 14 or 52 tram you can be there in 20-25 min. I could say that I don't like my entrance door to move when any other door on the floor opens or get closed but I can say easily that I liked to have lunch or dinner over there instead of city center. Pillows can be better always, but that's a problem in many places. I liked the staff and their food served so I can recommend this hotel overall.
