Detailed Reviews

Hotel is far far far away from the city centre in the quarter callen Nowa Huta (known as Bronx of Krakow). It is around 30 mins far from the center by tram (no.14 and 52 from Rondo Hipokratesa - 5 mins by walk from the hotel; 3,80 PLN) or by taxi (30 PLN). BUT this is the only thing which I found annoying during my stay.
Reception and lobby is small but it is not important. Staff was very kind, ready to answer any of my questions anytime. English was not a problem.
Rooms were spacious and clean and beds were reeeeaaallly comfortable. I had a nice sleep there. Maybe also because it is not close to the main road so the area is quiet. They are saying it is 2* hotel but they provide you with clean towels daily (even if not necessary) and shower gel (which I do not found even in a 3* hotels sometimes). As a welcome we found apples and bottles of mineral water in the room. There is WIFI available in the hotel and TV in the room but you need to ask for hairdryer at the reception.
Breakfast were simply perfect. Enough of choices. I especially loved Greek salad! You will not get bored of breakfast even when eating those third morning.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and I must stay, I'm impressed. My room was very clean (my first reaction when I stepped into the room was "this looks like I'm the first one using this room") and the bathroom was spacious and spotless as well. You are provided with towels, shower gels, toilet seat covers and other convenient items of that sort. Although it was only October when I visited Krakow, it was very cold outside, but the room heating worked perfectly. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and had many items to chose from. What I liked in particular was the coffee machine which made surprisingly good cappuccinos (considering that, in my opinion, cappuccinos from coffee machines usually aren't that good). Also, I loved the fact that, when you first get into your room, you have an apple and a bottle of water waiting for you on the table. I thought that made a really sweet touch.

This is a nice hotel in a quiet area of the city and next to the police station. The food in their cafeteria is decent. There are many stores for buying food nearby. The only drawback is it takes about 25 minutes by streetcar to reach the downtown of Krakow. The people working in this hotel are nice and always helpful.

Hotel is outside of town with poor public transport links. The rooms are small, the carpet is stained and beds are uncomfortable.
The toilet was dirty, with holes in the door allowing limited privacy.
The hotel room door is thin, you can hear the staff moving around all times of the day.
Breakfast is very poor, paper cups and plates. On some days no toaster and the coffee machine didn’t always work.
Staff are unhelpful.
For the price you can get a far better hotel in the centre of krakow.

I have twice stayed in the grand Hotel Felix and it is a two star hotel and good value for money.. Food is adequate with a good buffet breakfast both times but the evening meal was better on the first stay. 2 mins walk away is a supermarket open from 6 am until 9 pm for extra needs. Bedrooms are fine and are better than in the nearby Hotel Felix which is also owned by the same chain. The first church in the Nowy Hut area is close by and is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and various countries donated towards the building of this church. The hotel is quite some distance from the city centre but close to the centry of Nowy Huta which is now in corporated into Cracow. It takes about 25 mins by tram to reach the centre of Cracow. Wi fi available in the hotel. Hotel website is available in English.

All the best! It is great hotel with nice, clean rooms :) for me, most important in the hotel is that room is clean and warm if the winter is outside :) in our case, we stayed a few days and outside was very very cold, I liked when we went in the center and came back, in room was so warm and nice, like we were at house. Food is excellent! Center is a few kilometres far, but it is not problem because there is the bus.

Stayed here for 2 nights which were very long! Appeared to be plastic sheets on the bed (didn't check so could be wrong) the location is quite a way from town, a 5-10min walk to the tram stop then a 30min ride into town. No wifi, no air-con & no fridge, asked for some ice (as needed to keep some medication cold) told they had none but then they had some 10mins later for a bucket of wine stating they had just made it! I even asked if there was a shop I could buy some & was told all shops closed (what in all of Polsnd!?!) Noise seemed to travel very easily. The shower was broken & leaked & our double room was a twin...

Liked: low price for good quality, friendly and flexible service, cleanliness, nice bathroom (not to small), pleasant details (mineral water and cups in the room, shoe/suit cleaning tools in the cupboard, bath gels etc.). Disliked: dedicated but no-fence car park, no fan in the room (hot summer).

Positives: It was exactly what we needed. Clean and functional. Receptionist was very nice. We arrived late at night so there wasn't any parking available in private parking section but they had 2 parking spots in front of the hotel and they were under video surveillance. We took the tramp no. 52 to get to the downtown (you can buy tickets in the tramp) - it takes 25 mins to get there. The price was also great so I would return anytime.
Negatives: Nothing to complain about really, just one thing was kinda weird and that was toilet. The angle in which toilet is on the floor doesn't allow you to sit on it normally, you have to shift your legs kinda sideways. Little bit weird :)

But, clean rooms, very helpfull staff, East to get to though it is quite far away. You get there with tram 52 which brings you straight quite close to the Hotel.
