First time in krakow. I wanted a good location but not in the centre. About 15 minutes walk from the apartments to the main square. Bus stops and tramway nearby. We arrived late at night, the reception/ main door to the building closed, I rang the number given to ring if it was closed. Nice friendly lady answered, she WhatsApped me all the details/codes to enter and into our room, straight away. Room was nice and clean, lounge area clean and spacious, tea/ coffee making facilities, kettle in the cupboard below next to the fridge, which I never saw until last day of leaving, ( my fault for not looking properly) Beds comfortable, could of done with an extra pillow. Located in a quiet area, there are no issues with noise at night. A couple of coffee shops/ restaurants nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

really nice hotel, lovely staff and really clean rooms. we had accidentally broken the curtain and the woman at reception was really helpful and lovely about it and ended up upgrading us to a twin hotel, brand new with a bigger room and much better location… and even paid for our taxi to the new hotel. couldn’t be more thankful for the help and service, would definitely come back.

Visited for a week with my partner and had a lovely stay. We arrived at about 10am and check in wasn't until 4 so we had planned to leave our bags in reception and come back later. However the lady on reception arranged for us to check in early which was very helpful and appreciated. Room was spotless and very spacious. Bathroom looked brand new and was very modern. Hotel is in a great location, tram and bus stops just at the end of the road and about 10 minute walk to town. Also a convenience shop just a few doors down. We didn't really see any hotel staff, the main reception was always very quiet. We only really had one negative which is why I haven't given 5 stars. On the 5th night of our stay our password to the room was changed so we couldn't get in. I went to reception and was told someone had changed it as they hadn't realised our stay was as long as it was. She had to come and manually unlock the door and change the password back. This was at around 6/7pm and she said they leave at 8pm so had this have happened a little bit later we would have likely been locked out of our room all night. Apart from that it was an excellent stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

I stayed at the Aparthotel Rakowika from 14th January til the 17th of January 2023. Had the most perfect stay..myself and two friends had a comfortable Room, two single beds in one part and a single bedroom just off the bathroom area..the room was warm, beds was comfortable and clean..The room had a fridge , kettle and a coffee machine, plus a TV.. The hotel reception staff was helpful.. check-in ran smoothly and if you needed anything they was prepared to help..we required a taxi twice during our stay and the reception staff sorted that for us.. When we booked the hotel we didn't book the breakfast option, but we did eat at the hotel..the breakfast was continental, from warm cooked food,to sliced meats and cheese's..the breakfast was 35 zloty which equates to £7 in English pounds. That was as much as you wanted...we filled our bellies on the Sunday, due to the two trips we had booked - Auwtwitz and the salt mines..WHICH IS A MUST!!!! All in all I would give our stay 10 out of 10 and will definitely return!!! Thank you again RAKOWIKA!!!

Great place to stay . Warm comfy room with a second seperate bed in an alcoved area. Ideal space clean and fresh. Nespresso machine was a bonus and staff happily gave top up capsules whenever asked. In fact the staff were all 5 star helpful and more than happy to help whenever asked.10 min walk into the historic square. Local shop 1 min as was a cafe bar. Trams are great way to get about. Very helpful tourist info kiosk on way to Square. Breakfast was superb, fresh and varied, eggs meats yoghurts cereals polish options fresh bread fruit etc. Fantastic choice Can not recommend this fabulous little place enough.

Great stay 15 minutes walk from the city centre, great location near tram stops clean and comfortable rooms good breakfast continental items with sausage and eggs pancakes etc. Reception helpfull we were able to leave bags till check in key code for building entry and room entry. Good shower although we couldn't master how to get the shower head to hold on the rail, towels, body wash and toilet paper provided. The room wasn't cleaned but again we kept our tidy and made own beds you can request a clean instructions are provided in welcome sheet Good WiFi quiet rooms. We asked Reception to arrange a taxi early morning to the airport you can arrange tours through reception also. Overall a great stay would definitely recommend and stay again. Room was warm and beds were comfortable I would just like 1 more pillow.

Arrival A key thing with this hotel is you need to message them in advance if you are arriving any later than 5ish as there is no reception. They give you the code to get in the hotel and the room. We had no issues with this and it worked well. We received the information the day we were arriving. Room We had an apartment so had a sitting room and bedroom. The room was clean and spacious. Could have done with a few more coat hangers and some draws for clothes. The room had a fridge and an electric hob. There were no pans or cutlery though. Not a problem for us as it wasn't something we used but worth knowing for those who might want to. Bed was comfy and was made up with 2 single duvets. Could have done with more than one pillow but I'm sure if we'd have asked, they would have given us another. There was AC in the room so it was nice and warm. Few English TV channels. You could turn off the Polish dubbing in the settings. Bathroom was nice and new. The only thing that let the bathroom down was that the shower head wouldn't stay up on the runner but it was still usable. The bedroom was cozy with just 2 bedside tables. It was quite enclosed but we liked this. Breakfast We found the food nice every day but the last one was a bit of a let down. There was bread, eggs, sausage, bacon, continental style food, pancakes and other cakes and sweets. Drink wise there was a hot drinks machine and a few jugs of apple juice, water and orange. The last day we were there, the food choice was very limited for some reason but this was an anomaly in the 5 days we ate. Location The hotel was about a 20 min walk from the main square. There was a tram stop outside the hotel so if you were adventurous enough, this would probably get you to the centre. There were a few restaurants and shops near the hotel but most closed about 10ish. The shop was open a bit later. About 10 mins from the hotel is a large shopping centre which was really good. This also had food places. There is a nice park near the hotel too. If you walked past the shopping centre and went down the stairs, there was a little underpass with bakeries and shops. This took you through to the way to the main square. Overall I'd definitely return to this hotel. It was perfect for our stay and made our trip enjoyable!

Room was not that clean very dusty and bathroom sink area still marked from previous guests. The carpet needed a clean lots of fluff cobwebs in room. Very small single duvets spread over beds pushed together. The coffee machine didn’t work, no dressing gowns as in description. Had to request clean towels and loo rolls. Breakfast tepid bland but lots of choice. Asked reception to book taxi to airport The driver didn’t have any logo on car and could not accept card payment which is norm in krakow. He suggested taking us to a cash point. We thought an illegal car so refused to get in. Caught a taxi on street cost 130 plz. Same as on arrival we were told set fare. So beware of these remember If you are in an illegal taxi your not insured i& an accident occurs.

Honestly thought this hotel was spot on. Great location. Room was huge. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Only a couple of things - room doesn’t get cleaned while there which was ok with me but would of been nice if they checked the bins. Other thing - reception isn’t a 24/7 as stated on website. Would be beneficial if they WhatsApp’d you on the day of arrival with access details etc although I had no problems accessing the hotel. Other than that I will deffo come back.

Myself and 2 other young women travelled to these apartments on a Saturday night from the UK. Upon arrival we were under the impression the reception was open 24/7 as this is what our booking provider told us. AND what is stated on the apartments booking site. However when we arrived the apartments looked very closed, if it wasn’t for another group arriving at the same we wouldn’t have had access to even the reception. There were 2 numbers on the front door- instructions on what to do with these numbers were in polish- so we attempted to contact the receptionist/s with the number which was provided on the main reception counter. Long story short we didn’t get access to our room until 1am after arriving at 11pm. Poor customer service, and no apologies given for the distress caused to us. Wouldn’t recommend
