We selected this hotel for our first visit to Krakow based on the great reviews and ideal location, but what makes it special are the staff, who are as courteous and professional as we have ever seen, even at much more expensive places. Thanks to them, check-in and check-out were quick and easy, the entire place was spotless, and our room was elegant and comfortable. Very thorough covid protocols are in place and followed meticulously. We'll definitely be back!
We have had one of the best 3 nights city breaks we have taken in a longer while. The Hotel is superb. Clean modern rooms. Plenty of space with all the little extras to make our stay comfortable. The staff are hugely warm, welcoming and helpful. We arrived Friday afternoon, checked in with no issues. We asked the manger about a tour to Aushwich and he arranged it with 5 minutes. The trip was humbling and sober and we could not fault our driver or tour guide who provided an excellent service. The hotel spa was a definite plus after a long day walking in the cold. The hotel is situated on a busy and bustling street, however there was no noise coming into our room. Krakow is a fantastic place to visit and this hotel was the cherry on top of the cake.
Full review with good and bad. The Good: Location, nice suites, clean, excellent service, great food in both restaurants. Overall a great hotel if it wouldn't be for the safety by the pool area I will describe below. The BAD: Slippery marble tiles by the pool. Almost killed myself. Never had such big bruises in my LIFE!! Who puts marble tiles by a pool?? After I fell on the tile stairs the cleaning person came and started to wipe off the standing water. Next day they put up a sign (Slippery when wet) Way too late for me. If this would be an older person, they would have to be taken to a hospital. Could not sleep on my back for 7 days and my hip still hurts after more than 2 weeks. I told them if this was in the USA, they would be hearing from my attorney. I demanded to speak to the manager. He was not in that day so they said he will be in tomorrow. However, no one spoke to me, no one cared. For this reason, I will never stay there again, I rented 3 suites for my whole family and left about $1000.00 in their restaurants. This is not how you treat customers unless you don't want them to ever come back 2. The spa: Massage- I paid for 3 massages for 3 of my family members. I have never paid for a message without leaving a tip. However this time they did not deserve a dime. My wife had lots of massages in her life and she said to me that this one was the worst one she ever experienced. They really have no idea how to do a message so do not give them a tip, she said to me. This was just a waste of time. They should really send their personnel to school as this was not a message. Really terrible. Too bad my wife was the last one of the three as if she would be the first one, we would have cancelled the rest immediately.…
This is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at. The queen rooms are as long as the width of my house and very comfortable. The staff can’t do enough to make your stay a great one. The Spa area is compact but pleasant. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the central station and less than 5 minutes to the Main Square at the end of the street. An ideal place to stay and I would come back in a flash.
Lovely appointed hotel with nice pool/ spa area after days on foot sightseeing. Some staff members lacked quality in their customer care which was noted most days during our four day stay Position of hotel great for train station but taxi pick up / drop outside hotel not possible due to restrictions in the old town Bedroom and more importantly bed / pillows very comfortable Great Italian restaurant attached to hotel
