I chose this place because it has parking for large cars and the name from one of Midnight Oils old songs. The rooms are the best part of this hotel - they are quite luxurious. People are friendly, although the kitchen seems to be a bit slow. It is not near the center, but still quite easy and cheap to get there by taxi. Krakow is a lovely town in the center, but quite full on, so coming back to the suburban feel and friendly service was good.
This was a wonderful hotel. We selected it because it was a 5 star hotel at a 3-4 star price with breakfast and we always bring our dog Lady with us! Location was fine, about 10 minutes from downtown. Front desk was friendly and the room was perfect. The comforter was not feather or down and the room did get a little chilly (mid Nov) but we were fine. Breakfast was fabulous and the waitress was wonderful. We stayed one night and it was a great experience. We will be back!
We stayed here for a couple of nights while exploring the area and found the hotel wonderful. It is near a highway and outside the centre of the town but this was not a problem as taxis are inexpensive and the tram was nearby. It was quiet and peaceful as it borders a park (it was miserable weather for our stay so we did not visit the gardens) and good value for money. We hired a single and a double room and both were clean and beautifully furnished. The staff were excellent....so professional. The restaurant surprised us as the food was great and local and the service very good. I had wild boar with local mushrooms! I would certainly recommend this hotel!
High quality hotel on outskirts of Krakow. Great value with some excellent rooms. Ours was a little small but well appointed and good bathroom. Breakfast included was continental and ok. Other food was good but menu not completely to my taste. Location means a 25-30 Pln taxi into Krakow centre but worth it for the quality of the hotel. Nice park and great alternative restaurant nearby. Best thing about the hotel is the service, in particular the young ladies on reception who were fantastically helpful and cheerful
This was one of my absolute favorite hotels of all time. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, charming, and quaint. It's beautiful. The staff were very cordial, almost regal, and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in their beautiful sunrooms/patio and I couldn't imagine more of a quality selection or variety to choose from! The entire place was extremely clean. Our room was enormous and our children loved it! Of course the room had a coffee/tea station, and a huge, gorgeous, modern bathroom with spa quality toiletries, towels, and robes! They even included a glass scale in the bathroom, which I appreciated! They had many international channels on their television as well. I can only gush about this hotel! The only issue my family ran across was…
My wife and I stayed at hotel Dwor Kosciusko early June 2012. We found it on the net. Neither of us had ever been to Poland before. I have to say we found the hotel to be of a very high standard, rooms are very clean and comforatable, restaurant provided excellent dinner. We chose Polish menu which was great. Also the breakfasts are unbeatable, great choice and variety. I think the thing that made a great difference from other hotels was the staff. They are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. The only down side is that to get to the old town, you either need your own transport or have to rely on taxis, this can be a bit hit and miss However, next time i am in Krakow I wouldn't hesitate to try to book this hotel again. Well done to all at…
Located 15' away from Old Town Hotel Kosciuszko it's a true boutique 5* that you will get at the price of any 3* in downtown or even less. It has stylish, very comfortable rooms plenty of good quality amenities not to mention it's breakfast which is top notch. The service is very welcoming and attentive. It's located in a secluded place yet 1' from the road that will take you straight through downtown. I do not know how is the public transportation, but if driving this is certainly an option to be considered.
Stayed with my wife at this hotel from 28th may to 1st June 2012.after reviewing on Tripadvisor. Even though the hotel is located out of town, this does not have to be a disadvantage if you are on business or merely want a restful break without the busy tourist scene. It is easily accessible by car or any other form of public transport. The hotel is small, but well equipped with very clean, comfortable rooms and lift. The breakfast is of a high quality, but forget about a typical British fry up,remember this is Poland and the hotel is not strictly geared to the British diet, not a bad fault !.Plenty of choice otherwise. The dinner menu is very good and well presented.and I would disagree with the previous reviewer concerning high price for average food. The food is good to high…
It was one of the most beautiful hotels I have been to recently. Not only the place was amazing but people who worked there were really nice. I would say service was just excellent. We travelled with whole family. I would recommend this hotel to anyone also with children. It would be a pleasure for me to stay there again.
Best option - value for money. 3 km from the city center. 5-10 minutes drive on taxi (cost 5-7 euro). Comfortable and clean room. Casino in the basement. Enjoyed it a lot. Minuses: Uncomfortable pillow (60x60) and high prices in the restaurant with a midlle cuisine quality.
