I visited here on a solo trip to Krakow. The hotel is perfectly situated just a two minute walk from the main square. It’s tucked away slightly which means that there’s little noise at night. The room that I had was spotlessly clean, had a nice amount of room and was warm at night. You could open the window for air and look out at the old walls. The breakfast was really good. Lots of choice and delicious coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely return
Spent a long weekend in Krakow staying within the old town at the Hotel Polski. It's a small to medium sized hotel, perfectly located for the old town. The staff were super friendly, we booked a standard double room which was excellent value. Room had a modern bathroom and clean and modern decor in the bedroom, comfortable bed, fully stocked mini-bar etc. We also took the buffet breakfast option which offered lots of choice and was also good value. We were also able to check out a little later than the standard time which was a great help and much appreciated. Definitely recommended, a nice place to stay.
First time at this hotel, it’s perfectly placed for the square. Clean and well decorated room. Staff friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. Did find it unusual to have a double bed with two single duvets, but have heard before that some couples do this at home, me and my wife could see the benefits but jury is still out in our house lol. The only reason I gave the hotel a 4 star rating was because the evening restaurant and bar were closed during our visit, obviously due to the impact of covid, so not their fault. Will definitely return and hopefully can up my rating to five stars.
My daughter and I visited in December. It was a lovely old school hotel that made you feel like you were in the past. Visiting Auschwitz was very disturbing and devastating and being able to return to a hotel in the beautiful old town of krakow was valued. You walk out the door and are in the middle of the cobblestone streets in a historic, charming city. The staff at the hotel were so kind and helpful. The room was opulent and brought you back in time. Thanks for everything. Robyn westbrook
Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel and the fantastic staff. Having previously booked for March 2020 which was cancelled due to covid, the hotel kept our reservation till Nov 2021. The reception staff couldn’t do enough for the 6 of us in our group. They organised trips, taxi’s to and from airport and gave some great advise on how to really enjoy our stay. Breakfast was really good, shame the hotel bar was closed (again due to covid) the 3 rooms were of good size and had very comfy beds which my bad back really appreciated. A massive thank you to the staff for making this trip memorable.
Both me & my husband visited Krakow from 24th - 29th October 2021. The weather was amazing, sunshine & no rain! To top it off, we arrived at Hotel Polski to be greeted by Svitlana & Jerzy (reception & porter). Bags were taken to our room with no delay. We settled into our room, unpacked & we enquired about trips, restaurants, taxis, Svitlana & Jerzy were so helpful. The hotel is very central to all amenities, you couldn't get a better location, central but quiet also. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice, fresh fruit, pastries, cold buffet, hot buffet, cakes, fresh bread, cereal, amazing muesli made with freshly added ingredients & natural yoghurt (my favourite). Lots of choice for coffees, teas, cold juices. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but when we come back we will definitely be visiting! The hotels standard of rooms were fantastic, not to mention the standard of cleaning, crisp bedding, toiletries & lovely decor around the hotel. Hoping to bring my Mum & Dad here for a treat in February! Well done & hope to see you very soon.…
Recommended! The location is perfect (walking tours meet right outside), it’s really easy to get to everywhere and the staff were friendly. We booked our tours through the hotel too which were good as we were picked up and dropped off there. The only downside for us was breakfast - lots of salad but for the hot options there weren’t any left for us despite arriving 45 mins before the end. Only a few dried up beans, an egg and a few bits of sausage so we didn’t go to breakfast again after that. The waitress was also checking it so was fully aware. It was also my boyfriend’s 30th which I had told the hotel about so I hoped they might do something special, even just a little note with a chocolate or something but they didn’t but it didn’t impact our stay. The suite could also do with slippers and bathrobes to make it feel a bit more luxurious, maybe some fluffy towels too. I asked about a bathrobe but none available so would stay again but maybe not in the suite and without breakfast.…
Located in the old town so there is no parking nearby, but the hotel recommended a nearby parking lot at a discounted rate and paid for a cab to and from the hotel, so this wasn't a problem. The hotel location is perfect, really close to the main square but relatively quiet. There was some building work outside which was a bit noisy, but upon request we were moved immediately to another room where this wasn't a problem. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and all the staff were great. Only minor complaints were the weak Wi-Fi in some areas, and the fact the water took a little while to hear up, but other that we had a brilliant stay here.
This hotel is brilliantly located to explore this great city. A short stroll through the park from the main station and you arrive at this hotel. The hotel is only a further short walk to the main square and all the restaurants and bars to pick from. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Wow. Gorgeous room. Lots of complimentary toiletries to use, so no need to cram any into your hand luggage. Plenty of free tea and coffee too. Breakfast was included in our stay and although only a cold buffet, was filling. Choice of yoghurts and fruit. Plenty of cheeses and meats and vegetables to pick, all served with a selection of breads. Hotel felt very covid secure. Hand sanitiser for use each time you entered the hotel and dining room. Reception staff extremely friendly too. Highly recommend this hotel …
Very few words needed here. This is a beautiful, romantic, old fashioned hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and everything is spotless clean. Bottom line is this, if you want to visit Krakow, stay in a beautiful, well priced hotel in the most perfect location, and open your curtains in the morning to a breath taking view of a very small part of a stunning city...STAY HERE!
