Stayed here for a city break for a good central base and it didn’t let us down. The room was recently refurbished and was perfect. There were about 23 rooms in a very atmospheric building. The beds were comfortable and rooms were cosy and airy. Breakfast was down in basement and was self service with a great choice and also hearty. The bar area was decorated with cycling memorabilia with great photos and signed shirts and the owner still runs a racing cycling club. Range of drinks and beers was good too. Finally, staff were very helpful and polite

We chose this hotel for its location and it really met our expectations. It was near the castle, Vistula river and Kazimierz. The room was clean with no luxury, breakfast was excellent, we really had a good time. I would definitely return if I go to Krakow again.

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. We found Residence Tournet to be ideally located: only 10 minutes walk from Wawel Castle and another 5 to the historic city square, right around the corner from the Jewish quarter, lots of cafes and a beer garden nearby, as well as an outdoor food vendors with great Polish food. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They gave us great directions for where to go, where to eat, books to read! The breakfast was great, too! Meats and cheeses, homemade sweets, scrambled eggs, crepes, yogurt, and good coffee. The owner even took us to the airport at 3:45AM when it was time for us to go. That's what I call service! If I ever have the opportunity to go to Poland again, I will definitely stay here!

Good, quiet hotel located in the middle of the Jewish quarter, with more bars and restaurants around than you'll have time to try. We walked to the main square in 10-15 minutes. A perfect location to start from in the mornings, whether you're going across the river to the ghetto and Schindler's factory, or to the old town. The room we got behind the backyard was small and the bathroom even smaller, but both absolutely adequate for a four day stay. Very helpful and smiling staff, who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in your room, perhaps this hotel isn't for you, but as a base to explore Krakow and its surroundings, it is excellent value for money.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Tournet Guesthouse. The only thing good about this property was the breakfast. Location is in the jewish quarter which is a good half hours walk to the Main Square. Too far out. The beds were terrible and I couldn't get a good nights sleep because of this. There was a strong smell of air freshener in the room, probably to disguise other smells. We opened windows but couldn't seem to get rid of it. I recommend spending a little bit more for a hotel closer to the centre. Don't book here.
