The hotel is very nice, clean and their prices are reasonable. The hotel location is great, near a train station (1. min walk), we used a train (cheap prices for the tickets) to get to Katowice. The room was clean, nice. The beds were good. The bathroom was OK, too. We stayed at 2nd floor, but you have to go 3 (there is a plus level). They don't have an elevator - this is a minus. I recommend!!

We stayed there in march 2018. Very nice choice if you need a place just for sleep and good breakfast. This hotel has great location for it's price. We used a train to get to Katowice downtown. But you need to be careful with timetables. There are not so many trains. We had a problem with our shower - lady from reception desk suggested us to use shower in other room. She said they can't fix it right now. For me it's affordable solution.

The staff was polite and the hotel restaurant was excellent. The room was okay but the beds were bad. There wasn't air conditioning in our room but we could open the window. There wasn't an elevator which was a big minus. Our car was safe at the front yard of the hotel. The breakfast was okay but there wasn't real coffee, just instant coffee, and no fresh fruit or berries.

we were looking for a good and reasonably priced hotel for a short break to Poland the hotel is very nice inside and out and very clean no lifts though so plenty of stairs to navigate after a long days walking only real criticism was the one pillow you get its really small more a cushion and the duvet is very small and thin.. not good for us tall ones :( some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but not all.. over all a good stay for a couple of nights This hotel is right opposite the train station and is one stop away from Katowice central station .. although the train times are very random but extremely cheap a cab from the hotel to the main centre takes about 10 - 15 mins and again is cheap about 22 zloty approx. £3.50 the hotel is out on its own though so nothing to do there but sleep does have a restaurant though we used it as a base and it certainly served the purpose well

The room was clean and comfortable. It was really big, especially for two people. The staff was ok, not super-nice but nothing to complain about. The only thing to pick on is the parking space - I think it's quite small for such a big hotel and when the hotel is full it might be problematic - although I might be wrong. Oh, and the surroundings. Do not count on nice views. Still, I'd recommend this hotel.

The place overall is very good. Nice rooms, clean, good room service. And the price was very affordable. The location however is extremely strange. It is pretty close to the city center, only five minutes by train/tram, ca 20 min walking. But the trams/trains only leaves once/two times an hour and the staff couldn't find any busses going to the center which makes it a bit hard to come to the hotel eventhough it is 100 min from the train station. Nothing is really close to the hotel either, about 15 min walk to the closest grocery store. Very off place to be so central geographically. Besides that, we really liked it.

It was our second stay in this hotel so it itself tells something. The hotel is located in a rather tired and rundown area but it's easily accessible by tram or train (the train station is just opposite). I used to live and work for several years in the area so I felt quite safe but please be careful if you choose to walk from tram stop at night. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional, rooms are quiet and spacious - this time we got even bigger room than before, and it has everything you need - complimentary toiletries, mineral water, fridge, hair dryer. Plenty of hot water any time of a day or night. Wi-fi is fast and working no problem. We had a breakfast once - it's a buffet style, good selection. Haven't tried a restaurant.

Nice wooden building with large and attractive rooms. Excellent value for a good hotel that oddly seems to manage only 2 stars. Wifi is very spotty and the restaurant seems more expensive than others in the area but those are minor points.

I found Marysin Dwór in internet. My first choice hotels were fully booked because of huge economic event in the city. MD is Less than 15 minutes from main railway station by taxi. Also achievable by train. Quite close to downtown. Price for two nights was definetely OK. Interesting menu in restaurant, I asked for medium steak and it was really medium. Breakfast needs some improvement. Standart Room clean, spacious, quiet. Caution: no lift. Better ask for lower floors. Professional reception desk people.

This is great place to stay! Took some getting used to, but enjoyed the rustic charm of the wood decor and large passages. If I had one complaint it would be the aged nature of the place. TV was old but wasn't too concerned with that. Enjoyed dinner and simple breakfast.
