Detailed Reviews
Good hotel, reasonably priced. We stayed one night while traveling by bus to Paris. I liked dining room : snow white table cloth and nicely served breakfast. It is really comfortable to start your day with a breakfast like that. Clean room.

Excellent choice in the border City of Cieszyn, quiet area, well suited for relax. Rooma are within Mercure standard, spacious enough. Nice sauna and jakuzzi corner in the basement. Proper kitchen. Kind staff.

A discreet place to stay during way to Poland/Czech Republic located close to border brigde in Cieszyn. Very plaeasant girls on the reception and guy in the bar. Spacious rooms with every comfort I need, very good mattress.
Breakfast room is large and taste of meals was very good, coffee was very good.
Parking space is free of charge and secured with small fee (15 PLN/night) as well.

Stayed overnight at this hotel. Large, spacious and well-kept room without any frills. The bed is too soft (hammock model). Nice staff at the reception. OK breakfast, but lacked real butter, boiled eggs and bacon, otherwise very good toppings. Only one coffee machine running which took an incredibly long time. Messy in the breakfast room. On the whole, maybe a four, but the bed and parts of the breakfast drag the rating down to a three. Otherwise, it's OK to stay over here.

The hotel is better than the offerings of other hotels in the area, a good choice of drinks in the bar(although not the cheapest around still cheaper than home) great food and staff who nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable and a good size. A 20 minute walk and you can be in the town which is lovely in the summer months. all together a great hotel in a very nice place that's why I keep coming back. :-)

I stayed at this hotel several years ago on a trip to the town and was most impressed. This time I booked in with my wife and two adult children who wanted to visit Cieszyn, the home town of their late paternal grandfather. By western standards the room rates were most inexpensive. My impressions of the town had been positive from the started with prior comunications I had already had with the Town Hall, Registry of Deaths and other people who had been most helpful.
We found the hotel clean and very comfortable. The rooms had been updated, spacious and first class with all the usual modern comforts. All the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The lady on reception said she remembered me from my previous trip and gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant was clean and the breakfast varied and plentiful.
The hotel is on the town outskirts close to the motorway and it takes only a few minutes to drive to the town centre.
To sum up - the hotel is great value for money and a little gem!

I travel between Podebrady, Czech and Tarnov, Poland several times a year. This hotel is halfway between these two cities and makes for a very relaxing night. Friendly staff, clean room at a very reasonable price. One of the Best Mercures I have stayed at, and I have stayed in a few. I look forward to this stop over whenever in the region.
