Big improvements, so so happy because it was my favourite place. Last year I was very disappointed about almost everything. This year to my surprise lots of changes for the better. Breakfast was served nicely, everything very clean and tidy ( last year disaster) . Rooms upgraded to better standard, roof terrace with amazing view on the lake. Wonderful place
We’ve been there a few times and spent great time with family. As in the title, I recommend the hotel for the families, especially with young children 1-6 years. There are a lot of amenities for kids, big playing room, inflatable, jungle gym, Big swimming pool area with water slide. Its a pity that pool for infants and sauna have been out-of-order for a few days. Food is delicious and there is great choice for breakfast and dinner, as well. But sometimes it is too cold in main restaurant during breakfast. For adults there are lots of things to do, eg: bowling, billiard, tennis, mini golf, and sauna (was out-of-order that time), jacuzzi, steam bath, jogging (in very nice forest at the lake). As for the pool area, relax music should have been played always in swimming pool and at saunas as well. Despite of above mentioned minor things to improve, I really recommend this hotel.…
Former old Orbis and old Mercure hotel, now writing own history. Exterior of the building needs improvement and renovation, anyway interiors are nice, partly renovated, AC added to the rooms freshly, dining good variety and choice as per buffet dinner in the season. Some rooms can be located with limited light access, because of slope location of the complex. For elder people, some farer located rooms can be uncomfortable as per longer walk to all facilities and restaurant.
I visited this Hotel second time after 5 years and in my opinion it changed very well, it became a family children & sport hotel with a lot of things to do in-house and it is situated in a beautiful place near the lake and very close to the forest. As far as I see they are renovating all of the the old parts and it looks like it will be a huge complex in the years to come if they finish it.
Used to be fantastic hotel with a character. So many bad changes in resent years This hotel been transferred for kids campus. I been visiting this hotel almost every year but I am afraid this was our last visit. You can’t enjoying swimming because the kids running, jumping to the swimming pool. Jacuzzi is full of kids with a swimming mattresses unheard-of 😏. Breakfast was served so badly, filthy dishes , food all over the counter. Definitely NOT 4 stars hotel anymore. Very confusing where is the entrance to the hotel. When we eventually find it it looks like you passing the camping place. The balcony full of washing hung over 😱Smoking area is just opposite the bedroom widows , people sitting the unit 5 am.you can’t open the window because the smell going directly inside . Very very disappointed. Will never recommend it to single people or couples with out children. This is more campus place not hotel. I am so sorry for bad feedback but I feel like I have to do this to make the people aware.…
This almost 20 years old hotel is undergoing renovations now but this is not impacting the guests as the most important work, namely the rooms, is already completed. The Krutynia restaurant is nicely spaced out into two areas – so two independent groups can dine in peace. This makes sense as the other group during my stay was a large pack of children, noisy as you can imagine….The food was plentiful and very tasty, selection varied daily. View from the restaurant windows was delicious too – into lake Czos with sailing yachts catching the breeze. I liked the pool area – very spacious, with two large separate pools, and an external worm-water pool. The staff was nice and polite, and everything worked there well. My room was very clean, the bathroom sparkling. Bravo! The area of Mragowo itself has plenty to offer – nice walkways, lakes, and other towns nearby (Ryn, Reszel, Święta Lipka, Mikołajki) with lots of atractions to see. Just go there! The only thing that I did not like was the parking price - see the picture. But, luckily, there was plenty of free parikng available on the streets nearby.…
Stayed there for few nights during busy period. Hotel was unable to handle that volume of guests and service was very poor (1h waiting time for meal in restaurant and part of the order was forgotten) and shared facilities very crowded (swimming pool, playground, etc). Will avoid in the future.
We came here for a wedding, there were 5 vegan guests, us included, and although this was communicated to the hotel many times, there wasn't a single vegan item in the catering or made for order. Items with animal products were labelled as vegan and we were given raw tofu for breakfast. It takes a minimal amount of effort to find out about dietary preferences or requirements, and equally minimal amount of effort to read some new recipes. We were staying for three days, a hotel that places itself on such a high pedestal should give the minimum amount of consideration for its guests to have something to eat over a three day stay. It was a pity, because otherwise it was a very nice stay and the grounds and hotel are beautiful.
Stayed for 3 nights during the winter holidays and naturally the hotel was rather packed because of this. Plenty of activities to do around the hotel, most of them meant for the children to enjoy and let the parents rest. The swimming pools with the slide, the cinema, the table football and table tennis, a bowling alley with two lanes, billiard tables, play room etc. Everything was included in the daily rate except the bowling which was chargeable. Was on a half board basis and the food for both breakfast and dinner was good. Plenty of options, both for meat lovers and also for vegetarians. Big plus was the egg station during breakfast. There is a seperate children's menu each day for dinner and breakfast which was a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stay if being a family with children. Consider other options if you want a romantic couple's getaway.…
Staff is friendly but English is not language they understood. Spa price list only in polish. Parking for guests costs 35zl per day which is not reasonable at all. This is main reason we are not coming back ever. You are not in city center to charge so much
