Positive points: - Good location, great view on the lake (room 418-419) - but careful lots of rooms have a view on the trees - Quiet Negative points: - parking lot too small (and crowded with group buses) - restaurant is simply a joke (worse than you school canteen!) - you may prefer to take something from nearby petrol station! - SPIDERS everywhere!! Don't leave your windows open! - no AC - equipment rather old (especially beds)
Hotel is located at the lake, my room had nice balcony with the view on 🌲 & lake. Lake is just few meters away, thus, one can do a refreshing morning swim. Loved it! Rooms are clean & nice. Breakfast buffet is good. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you!
Stayed on the top floor for two nights. Very dated hotel, faded and dilapidated in places but for less than £40 for room, breakfast and evening meal with a couple of beers it's OK. Not romantic but very practical and clean. Staff were trying hard and the one downside is that it is a venue for cheap coach party travel companies so it goes from empty to heaving very quickly - breakfast is like watching a horde of locusts descending. Good stopping off point for WW2 tours however.
Just a charming but average hotel. Under a hundred rooms. Only one elevator made it difficult for a tour group of 56. Food ok but limited in selection. Decent and clean room. Softer mattress. Choose for the location and price.
Great hotel by lake ,all rooms with views & balconies .Good ,clean twin rooms ,TV with lot of digital channels .You can relax and swim directly by hotel ,theres also sunbeds and jacuzzi ,SPA etc.Car parking is little bit small and overcrowded . Good breakfast with lot of cold cuts ,eggs and sausages (no beans and bacon ,its typical in Poland). Advisable hotel.
We had car trouble and quickly found this hotel on-line. It was close to where our car broke down. Very friendly front desk people and very helpful as were had several rental car people come and front desk helped translate. Room was nice, but the beds were maybe 5/10 comfortable. Clean room with a nice balcony overlooking a lake. Bathroom was clean and nice, but shower enclosure is tight for a big American. The restaurant was good for dinner but not exceptional. Breakfast was very good, too.
Hotel Mazuria was one of the six hotels we have stayed at during that auto trip to Poland and, frankly speaking, it is definitely not that one we would like to be back to. It doesn't mean that the hotel is bad or the service is poor: absolutely no. The problem is that the hotel is too regular and even the fantastic lake view from the balcony doesn't save it. Again: the room was clean, the staff was polite and ready to help but, probably, it is just not my style. Probably it looks too much like the old Soviet sanatoriums and you don't feel yourself away from the city as Mazuria is surrounded with the other hotels...
Booked a triple room, was given a double. Hotel staff could care or fix. Room was too small. Ate in restaurant for dinner, set single option menu. Food was overpriced and average. Breakfast was also very average.
The hotel itself is located in a beautiful area, alongside a couple of other resort-style properties. Rooms were very basic with few amenities. But the lake view from the balcony was the highlight. Very nice! The included breakfast was average. Service was average. But overall, we got what we paid for.
Stayed here back in August for 1 night whilst travelling across Europe. We were very excited to visit this area and had high hopes staying right next to the lake. We were disappointed when we arrived - the receptionist wasn't very friendly or helpful and the room wasn't nice at all. It was very old fashioned, not attractive and looked more like a student room than a hotel. Our room had a "balcony" which was actually just a long walkway joining all the rooms on that floor together. It wasn't a place where you would sit outside together as its shared with so many other rooms. We had hoped to be overlooking the lake, since it was right by the lakeside and we had booked a "lake view". Unfortunately we could barely see the lake at all through the very tall trees so there was nothing to look at. Didn't feel comfortable in this hotel and felt we had made a very poor decision booking here. We hoped the town would be better so went out for dinner, however it was very empty, no atmosphere about it and nothing much to do there. Restaurant prices were high also especially for Poland. Didn't have a great nights sleep as beds were uncomfortable too. The only redeeming thing about this hotel was that there was a lot of choice at breakfast and the décor in the dining room was a huge improvement on the bedrooms. Weather was also fantastic but can't thank the hotel for that! Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend the hotel or the area. Wish we had stayed in Krutyn instead.…
