This was generally a pleasant hotel to spend a week teaching on a language camp. The grounds were quite wild but this wasn't necessarily unwelcome as it made the place feel like an escape from the chaos of the wider world! That the tennis/ badminton court was completely overgrown was a bit of a shame, though. The facilities for kids in the hotel weren't the best, with only one small pool table in poor condition. The restaurant was a nice room but the food was unpredictable- it was sometimes lovely and at other times very questionable indeed (carrot and orange soup?!). The staff were generally obliging but a little severe-looking at times, although some were more friendly. The rooms varied much in size and quality, and were nice enough, but unfortunately there seemed to be bed bugs, as I woke each morning with tiny bites all over my feet. I wouldn't rush back or enthusiastically recommend this hotel, but the beautiful and wild grounds made up a little for some of the shortcomings (especially the frogs!)…
I was here for a week during the winter and it was a really pleasant experience. The food was good and this place is ideal if you are looking for a place that is away from the city. The drive there, as mentioned by some could be a little rough as you will be driving into a dirt road before arriving at the property.
2017-04-22 my husband I was in the hotel Bobrowa Dolina. The room was reserved by the phone, at the time of booking administrator did not say any additional information – I emphasize it because: we went to the place ~ 200 km to relax from the noise of the city, and I am expecting 6+ month. Unfortunately, faced with a very unpleasant situation. On arrival at the hotel we noticed there festive dressed people. By the evening hotel was full of people - the wedding was going on. It is great that people are having fun, but the administrator could inform us about that. First of all, because event music was heard throughout the hotel; secondly we were accommodated near the restaurant where the party was held; and finally at the arrival administrator saw that I was expecting. Weddings was cruising speed, and me pregnant unable to sleep from VERY loud music.. So I went to the administrator. He refused to change the room. Room was changed later, when came another administrator. Although the alternate room was a little farther restaurant, the noise sounded throughout the all hotel, so until the end of the event (~ 3 AM) I had listen to loud wedding music. I am very unhappy. Bobrova Dolina administrator - a big minus for you. It is not nice you did not informed us about the possible inconvenience. It is really sad for me that being pregnant and riding long way to this hotel, not that I was relaxed, but had all night of nerves.…
Bobrowa Dolina is hidden aprox 30 mins from Bialystok. It is about 3 kilometers from the main road, and that last 3 km is a horror because of the dramatic gravel-like road. The place is very silent and calm, among the woods, with nice garden. You can really rest. The staff is very friendly and helpful, no problem with anything. The disadvantages are: no air conditioning in rooms and, for some, also the localization - the nearest stores, pharmacies or places to see are really far, which may be a problem without a car. And if you have a car, remember about the road.
I attended at the hotel for a wedding for approximately four days in the height of summer. Positives - nice gardens, cheap food and drinks, reception staff very helpful, adequate breakfast, comfy large bed, large room, quite cheap. Negatives - no air con, no net curtains so could not open windows due to wasps, average service at best in bar/restaurant, smell of cooking/onions wafting through to bathroom, no shower curtain, no working lifts. If you want to relax and do nothing in pretty grounds then this hotel is fine...just expect to sleep in a sauna, wait forever for your food and you wont get a drink in the bar after 10:00pm.
