We stayed recently for 5 nights to visit family, we were originally only due to stay for 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we added extra nights on. The hotel offers a very beautiful location on the lake and I would say a lake view room upgrade is a must. The bar and restaurant in the hotel is great value and offers a good choice at sensible prices, the hotel was very busy at the time we stayed with a conference but at breakfast the buffet and evenings in the bar did not cause any problems. Room upkeep and cleanliness were good And the bed very comfortable. We only briefly used the pool and sauna in the spa but all was in excellent condition and clean. I will be back to stay again when visiting family next year in what I believe is the best hotel in Augustow.

Location of the hotel is very good: 15 min walk to both sites where are main attractions of the town. Rooms a little bit shabby, but I had a junior suite so it was big with two balconies and quite comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointment: not healthy and not tasty. There was not even real bread available. Not possible to eat breakfast outside. Personal quite formal. Rooms were not clearned and towels not changed during entire stay. Parking in the hotel is for additional fee only but there are a lot of places to park free close to the hotel. In summary: average hotel for big price. Not worth.

After reading the comments it looks like we were staying at another hotel. Definitely not worth the price. Still in Augustow, with a small town paying one night for 120 Eur you expect a good hotel. Really nothing spectacular, the booked room overlooking the lake. You will not see the lake because the coast is covered with trees. We got the room right above the restaurant so were hearing people having dinner .Only one English channel on TV. The yard is overgrown with unsupervised plants, the room is very dark, the lighting is poor, and the sink is a short mess. Balcony needs repair. It is separated by a glass wall from neighbors, so children and drunk parents can also hear well. Although it is stated that there are 3 restaurants. One of them did not work and probably has never been working. In the tratorium, the tables outside are dirty, the environment messy. Food is expensive, but not at all high quality. A miniature piece of fish is wrapped in a dough-sized layer of two palms. The burger is served without fries, without salads, and the waitress didn't offer them for an extra fee. When ordering a beer, the waiter again does not ask what kind of beer i want , although there are 6 types of beer that they carry according to themselves. The coast, by the way, is not suitable for swimming, it is a port for boats and speedboats, there is no beach. You have to go for a swim you have to go to local beach. Hotel is far from downtown and restaurants. There are no shops or other restaurants around the area, so if the weather gets worse I don't know what you will do. The spa center is awful. There is no swimming pool, there is only an old built Jacuzzi and sauna. Paid parking, 35 zlotys per day, even for guests. Word of mouth is definitely not recommended unless the price is up to 50 Eur. There is no balance between price and quality here. True and only plus, a very good breakfast.

The hotel is absolutely fabulous! We got the room on top floor with the lake view which was amazing. The sound proof level is great - you cannot hear your neighbours nor the restaurant down stairs. The breakfast was great too. The only downside is that the staff at the restaurant doesn’t speak english. But other than that everything was flawless. Strongly recommend for relaxing weekend!
