GM has a great location, we just visited with friends and 5 kids for a winter half-term. They didnt bother to accommodate 3 rooms next to each other, despite making request upon booking through their web (I also called the hotel in order to highligt it), so that was a 1st big disadvantage (had to stay with my boy on sep floor); girl at check in point wasnt even pretending to care and feel sorry. Iwo-apparently a manager never bothered to greet any customers, staff members on lower positions were more welcoming and caring than him. Some of front desk staff doesnt bother to see you at all. Same for restaurant staff. You might end up waiting in front of the main bar in the lobby without anybody around who clearly sees you, being at least helpful in minimum to ask what you need (becuase they dont work in this department). Often Issues with cash payments as they dont have change at the start of the shift, missing stock so you cannot order what you want from the menu. Housekeeping ladies on the other hand were very polite, helpful and friendly and doing the hardest work of them all. Some pros: sauna facility, outdoor jacuzzis, kids entertainment, food in terms of quality and choice, however the pm dinner time shall be slightly extended as compare to breakfast (7:30-11am) was simply too short (5-7:30pm). The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, however the glass-walled bathrooms were in our case some kind of a disadvantage, even when you can cover them with courtains (one room was missing a courtain), its simply annoying to do so around the door evert time you want to stay private inside 😉 a big plus, as for me, was the fact of allowing dogs inside, but again sth to consider if you're not a fan and or allergic. Despite so many pets around the hotel was still impressively clean. But you'd expect that for the price as its not a cheap one. 4 stars BUT most of staff needs a proper training and get their attitude corrected as they dont match the level of hotel*, but without a proper manager around that's how it works..…
Everything was 🔝. Delicious food breakfast and dinner too , clean rooms with comfortable beds, great pool with lovely sauna and outdoor jacuzzi . Very friendly atmosphere hotel with sea view! Highly recommend this place !
We booked the Gwiazda Morza Resort Spa & Sport for a few days of our holidays and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is located next to the harbour and the only hotel at the beach side of the street. Also it is not far from the very touristic centre but just far enough to not be bothered with all the noise of that area. The hotel has 2 ways of parking, in the parking garage (PLN 50/day) or the open parking (PLN 35/day). Street parking in Wladyslawowo is paid as well. The hotel looks very new and has a pretty nice and warm atmosphere. Straight behind the reception is the bar with some nice seating spaces as well as direct access to a large balcony with very nice seating arrangements. When a bit chilly blankets are available to cover yourself. Everywhere we went the hotel looks very clean. Also the hotel has its own direct access to the beach with an own beach bar (which we did not visit so cannot judge this part of the hotel however from the outside it looks very nice). The room we had was at the forest/park side of the hotel which was comfortable as one hears the sounds of the waves and the wind through the trees, very relaxing. Room was spacious with everything one needs, incl. a free safe. The bathroom is big enough with a pretty big and good shower. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. The bathroom is fully of glass however for more private moments one can pull a curtain in front of all sides so give one the required privacy. Maybe a few more hangers would be welcome to hang clothing but we had enough as we only were there a few days. Please note that with rooms at the street side one may be bothered by the regular trains passing by, not that much the noise of the trains themselves but rather the noise of their horns which they frequently use while passing through the city. The breakfast is extensive with enough choice for everyone, really a very nice choice. We enjoyed our breakfasts. One small remark would be that when there are a lot of guests there tends to be a queue for the only coffee machine, in our opinion they should think of installing a second one, especially in busy periods. Tables and chairs were immediately cleaned/disinfected after people left their tables. We also used the restaurant of the hotel and after the first meal there we decided to simply eat there all the time. Very nice and interesting menu, good (local) beers, wines and lemonades besides all other stronger alcohols and cocktails on their menu. The food we got served every time we went there was simply very tasty and nicely presented. Wait staff very friendly and attentive, it was a pleasure spending time there. In relation to the staff we have to say that all staff from the breakfast, bar, reception, spa and sport areas were very friendly, attentive and willing to help when needed as were the cleaning staff. There is a clear understanding of what customer satisfaction means! SPOT ON! My partner followed some sport activities and was happy with the trainers and how the trainings were performed. I used the gym twice, it is rather small (almost as usual in hotels) and mainly consists of cardio equipment, one multi-functional weight machine, weights and some other small equipment/tools . I missed leg training equipment. I would advise them to remove some cardio machines and replace these with other equipment (like leg machines) to make the gym more multi-functional. The swimming pool is large with 2 smaller side pools and the water has a nice temperature. I enjoyed making use of the pool. Outside there are 2 Jacuzzi’s, available when the weather is good enough. Towels are available when going to the pool or gym. The dressing room looked very nice and clean with good showers for before/after the pool. Shampoo/soap is available in the showers. My partner made use of the spa for several treatments and was happy with the service, atmosphere, interior and cleanliness of the spa area. Overall we were very happy with our choice for this hotel and we can only highly recommended it! For sure we will keep it on our list for pre or post season trips.…
I booked two treatments. However, since I wasn't a hotel guest, I was refused to use the facilities. If I wanted to go to the beauty salon, I would. Expected from guest to pay 500zl and to be refused to use the swimming facilities was very dissapointing. Very low standards and poor customer care. I don't recommend.
Great place to spent holiday. Perfect place with perfect location, super tasty food, high quality serwis. Hotel has many amenities for children for adults, so even with children You can rest well .We cant wait to be back there .
What makes this hotel extra special is the pine forest that separates the sea from the hotel. Its trees' branches almost reach some of the balconies and their fragrance is enchanting. The sea is a 2mins walk from the spa which is on the ground floor and world-class. Another offer that I took was the free pilates lesson in the morning before I had breakfast and found plenty of options even as a vegan. The personnel is very friendly everywhere and the best thing are the rooms! They are stunning! The choice of materials is sublime! I will definitely return to this hotel as soon as possible and can totally recommend to anyone this place, as it is stunning! And for the prices off-season you should not even hesitate a second to book there!
Apart from excellent location, the stay in the hotel as a whole experience is far away from what we're used to understand as "SPA RESORT". The personnel is either not experienced and lost in between their duties (parking places mistaken, rooms cleande only 3 times over 5 night stay, ...) or very impolite: you dont get a change at the bar (but you are offered to pay 20zł instead of 13zl for prosecco); the lifeguard at the rooftop pool tells your kid "jump to the water and you will be out of here", when after 15 min waiting for espresso you ask politely the bar personel about your coffee you receive a blast of arrogant remarks... Well, all these behaviours of personnel just make your stay unpleasant in a location where the nature gives everything you may need to relax.
I booked a 2 bedroom apartment with forest view. It was clean, modern, comfortable. But it was very noisy until 5am; I think there's a rave party every night in the port. The reception was friendly but a bit chaotic. The location is great but I think it's overpriced considering the toiletries are basic, no dressing gowns, poor quality pillows, rave party, construction work nearby; parking + breakfast are charged on top. Beware they will not accept a credit card booking over the phone.
Professional and helpful staff, modern complex with apartments' standard as good as shown on photos online, secure underground garage, great location- less than min.away from the beach. Highly recommended!
July- trip with parents- was looking for a nice comfortable hotel with beautiful view and relaxing sound of the Sea behind the windows... Well I chose definitely wrong hotel! Check in suppose to be at 4pm - we got phone call on the way if we can arrive a bit later cause room is still not ready. Hmm..nice beginning but ok no problem we 'll be later. We reached around 6:30 pm - imagine we were told to wait another 30 min cause room was not prepared. Finally when I entered the room with a hope that I 'll relax after long trip unfortunately it was just impossible! Balcony was facing construction ( for the rest of my holidays since early morning till late night hours labours working there were making terrible noise) but it's nothing comparing to the passing each hour trains - well I know schedule wladyslawowo- hel by heart after holodays in this hotel. I was requesting suit with a nice view, quite- room where with my parents we can spend nice time in case of rain such common in Poland! I got view for the cranes and railroad tracks!!! It's not possible to sleep there at all!!! I went to talk with 'manager' of the hotel... Well I don't know why this lady is working on this position cause her attitude, behaviour towards guests is terribly rude. I believe that such term as customer service was never introduced to her.She didn't bother herself to be at least a bit understanding, she didn't even apologise for the situation which we were facing. Instead she proudly pronounced sentence that as a hotel they wrote information on their website according to ongoing construction work near the hotel. Well I was booking hotel by booking.com and such information was not mentioned there for Sure! But who cares- it's July- plenty of naive people looking for an available room! I regret that I lost pictures and video which I took from this 'lovely' suit...i don't wish anyone to have such holidays as mine. Waste of my money and health - next time I would not stay there even for free.…
