My wife and I booked a city break to Szczecin a few weeks back and stayed at the Park Hotel for two nights.

Firstly, it’s in a great location right next to the Zeromskiego Park, so, perfect if you want to go for a run. It’s also close to the Galaxy Shopping Centre and is a 15 minute walk to the riverside.

The hotel itself is a boutique style hotel with not too many rooms. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are modern although a minor gripe was that they are quite small. We had the room cleaned everyday which was a nice touch. We didn’t bother with the WiFi but it was available if we needed to use it.

The breakfast was a standard European buffet style and COVID rules were maintained. I would advise getting breakfast earlier if you can as some elements can run out if you eat later. The breakfast is in the main restaurant which was very clean.

Another added bonus is the free parking available on site should you need it.

We had a tastefully decorated room with a huge bathroom and the best shower cabin I've seen.Room had plenty of reading lamps which usually are lacking in hotels. But this hotel is more than 150 years old and was a meeting place for successful Danzigers. The hotel restaurant is one of the best in the city.Breakfast is abundant but müsli is missing and coffee is doled out by the cup.
Plenty of fruit and excellent home-made jams. For dinner try the roast duck which is a specialty.

Our room was tastefully decorated, with very comfortable beds and a huge modern bathroom. Plenty of lamps to read by, which are often missing in chain hotels. This is a cosy little hotel which has a fine heated pool.

I stayed here for 2 nights on the 24th and 25th January. I booked a double room about 2 weeks before my trip by telephoning the hotel direct. I got the room for the rate advertised on the hotel's website.

I agree entirely with Mcferran of Ireland with his review; it's a good reflection of my experience.

The hotel is decorated to a high standard. The finish is exceptional with no obvious signs of wear and tear. The hotel room was spotless, although the room was not as big as I imagined. The bed was large and firm. The window had good blackout curtains and I had two nights of peaceful sleep, with no noise from inside or outside the hotel. The hotel room has a flat-screen TV which has a mixture of Polish and German channels. It also has CNN and Sky News.

The bathroom had the usual complimentaries and a hairdryer. The bathroom had a shower but no bath. There was a mini-bar and room service was available, which extended to serving breakfast in bed from a menu card outlining the breakfast options. There was WiFi internet access (54.0 Mbps download rate) throughout this hotel with 3 connection points covering all areas (no blind spots), and it was free!

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the spa - I didn't see a soul down there during my time by the pool and in the sauna. I also had a massage for an hour, which cost 75PLN (20 EUR) - how can you beat that?!

Staff were friendly and polite but not overbearing. I dined in the hotel's restaurant on my second night. The food was exceptional, the service was first class and the price incredibly good value. Breakfast was continental in style, with a selection of fruits, cereals, cooked meats and fish, and cheeses. Cooked breakfast was available 'on request'.

My only gripe about the hotel is that after returning from a few hours of sightseeing one afternoon I couldn't find a quiet spot in the hotel in which to put my feet up with a pot of hot tea and watch the snow come down; the consevatory was full of 'suits' (businessmen) having a meeting and the library was out-of-bounds for the same reason. I had to retire to my room for an hour or so. The hotel is clearly very popular during the week as a venue for business meetings and lunches.

I recommend this hotel. It provides a high standard of comfort and care. The food and spa services are excellent and the hotel is located centrally to Szczecin in a peaceful, wooded location.

What a pleasent surprise, we found this hotel at the last minute and instead of staying at the Radisson SAS we stayed at the Park Hotel. Set inside a small Park the hotel is;ass than 2 mins walk from the main shopping mall, bus station and tram stop. The Spa is probably the nicest I have ever enjoyed and includes a relaxation pool, aromotherapy showers, healing pool and because the hotel has only 32 bedrooms it is never busy. An excellent 1 hour massage can be had for €20. The rooms are 5* standard with mini bar, room service, wifi and even chocolates on the pillow, the standard of furnishings is very high. The only slightly negative thing is the bathroom has a very large walk in shower, this is no problem for me but my wife really likes a bathtub. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very international with lots of fresh fruit, breads, eggs, teas from all over the world and traditional boiled sausages. The staff we're excellent from our first contact with them by email, when we checked in they remembered our questions and answered them again. This is one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world and would recommend it to anyone. We emailed the hotel direct and got a rate of €77 weekend and €94 mid week.

What a wonderful surprise to find a hotel like this in the middle of a big city!!
Situated IN THE park and walking distace from all historical sights. It really is situated in the heart of Szczecin and yet it is so quiet and so lovely to be surrounded by the trees - specially now when they are in their autumn colours.
From the moment we entered the service was impeccable and during our stay - 2 nights - ALL staff members were extremely polite and helpful. on our 1st night we stayed in a small room as it was a Saturday and there was a wedding function taking place, but, the next day, we were moved to a wonderful big room. It is good to know that a small number of rooms are larger than the others.
Our stay coincided with a gourmet weekend in Szczecin. Restaurants offer certain dishes at half price and guests are asked to judge the meal. From the reviews, one of the restaurants will get chosen as the best in town. All the meals we had at the hotel restaurant were delicious and with the special offer, amazing value for money! The waiters were very polite and spoke perfect english.
Breakfast was great and sitting outside on the patio amongst the trees was also a delight.
In the decor of the hotel they have kept alot of old photos from when Szczecin must have been one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This and the warmness of the wood finishing gives the hotel a very cosy ambience.
We loved staying at Park Hotel. It was the highlght of our 2 days in Szczecin.
ps I always like to read Tripadvisor reviews before booking a hotel. After reading what one reviewer wrote about this hotel, I am not sure we should depend so much on these reviews! What we experienced was totally different to what I had read and, by the way, breakfast was always more than enough!!

We went to Szczecinin October 2007 and we had very nice time. The hotelis verynice and if You looking for a nice and quiet stay You should stay in the Park Hotel, amazin views, park and lots of bars and restaurant You can go to even late late night. We had a meal around 11 pm in amazin restaurant called Calumbus or Colorado there are located 5 min walk fromthe hotel and for a full dinner and deser we paid around £15.The weather was ok around 11 deegres, lot of sun. In the hotel You can really relax and have great time, swimming pool and saunas are the top ones!!! I had some beauty treatment like facial and waxing done, the beauty therapist was very pleasnt ,speak fluent in english and did the treatment very well. Booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary trip through Poland because of good reviews, an apparently excellent restaurant and the quiet and city centre near location. Why wouldn’t we recommend it:

1. Room
Quiet small and very old fashioned furniture, bathroom almost bigger than the rest of the room. Very few accessable electricity sockets.

2. Restaurant
We didn’t make it to the restaurant as we were not allowed to enter with our very small dog. No service attitude at all, not even a table on the terrace being offered. Ended up ordering to the room from the restaurant menu and were thoroughly disappointed (we had Fried shrimps with Miso paste, coconut milk and pineapple, Tortellini with beef cheeks, the rack of lamb with Yam puree & lime and the grilled chicken with citrus filets, raisins, honey & piripiri sauce): Food was overall rather tasteless, the chicken too dry, the same side dishes used as “copy paste” in all dishes...
So in comparison to other restaurants we visited in Poland and Pomerania so far I’d say overrated!

I stayed at Park Hotel from April 15 until 20, 2019, and was very happy. Beforehand, I was a little bit concerned that it was too far away from downtown. Not so. Only 5-10 minutes. It is also 25 minutes walk from the railway station. The room (117) was nice. Silent atmosphere in the park. Excellent swimming pool. Nice staff. One little point for improvement: the breakfast was very ok, but when the guests want more coffee, we should be able to serve ourselves in the restaurant. I had to go to the kitchen every time I wanted another cup of coffee. That was a little bit inconvenient.

Difficult to find a more central location than this hotel in the middle of a small park right in the center of the town, a few hundred meters away from the "old town" and the castle!
Location is simply perfect and quiet.
The staff members are very professional and welcoming.
The bedroom was well furnished.
The spa area was REALLY good, plenty of space, jacuzzi, hammam, pool, etc.
The whole place was very tidy and clean.
The breakfast is good with a great choice as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Service was very efficient.
I'm not granting the 5th star because I found the drinks at the bar a little pricey.
But I would definitely come back there if I happened to visit the city again.
