It took a while to find this place because we were looking in Szczecin, but the Boncza is actually about 6Km away in a very small town called Dabie. It is close to a large church, but there is little else other than houses. The hotel itself is family owned and operated and is fine but slightly off the wall and the new part, although new seemed to be a throwback to the 1970´s. The food was good, although there is little choice as there is nowhere else to eat. Wifi was good, but there is little else to do and all TV channels are in Polish or German.

Just a night spent here. The hotel looks like it is set in a time warp. It looks quite grand and classy but like it belongs in the 50s. The internal decor is a little bizarre, overpowering green patterned wallpaper. It does fit the style of the hotel however. The restaurant was impressive with that old imperial look and full waiter service. Now for the negative comments. When we booked into this hotel it was like being booked into a military establishment. Not a smile from any of the staff. On visiting the restaurant, the waiter looked annoyed and reluctantly gave us menus to look at. He was helpful though in getting the chef to come and discuss a vegetarian option and the chef was very friendly and helpful. I have to say that the food was amazing and would have no complaints about the evening meal of the mighty breakfast we had. The waiter though went back to his miserable way when raising his eyes at our asking for another beer. In comparison with other hotels we visited, I feel that this was a little less value. Would we stay there again..... I very much doubt it.

Lovely purpose built hotel with a quality feel.welcoming friendly staff and all modern facilities made for a lovely stay. Contrary to photographs hotel is in the middle of town amongst blocks of flats this was a surprise on arrival. Hotel was built on the site of the towns power station and has been extended making for a bit of a rabbit warren. 2 lifts a bar and poolroom that we didn't,t find until morning of departure. Real luxury restaurant on glass floor over old millrace with main restaurant next door. Owner onsite speaks excellent English and only to happy to oblige and provide all info on hotel you might want. All rooms are subject to noise either road at the front or in our case occasional train noise and a couple of barking dogs. Hotel would benefit from aircon and then no need to have windows open. A real good find.

What a nice hotel! and the owner is a gem :) polite and inviting, making sure you are happy with everything. Breakfast was AMAZING! different meats, variety of coffees an teas, even a lady who is dong scrambled eggs for you! whatever you wish for - they have it on that breakfast table. Rooms were very clean and cleaners would be happy to help with all your needs as well. I needed some scissor and they lent them to me for whole day! We went there for a friends wedding and the whole set up was absolutely fantastic! Trip to town - bus near by on by taxi (approx 5.00euros), cash point near by, even church one street away. I would definitely stay there again!

From the outside the hotel looks quite modern, but once you get inside you get the feeling of the old world charm. The decor is early 19th century and it has a certain charm about it. I stayed one night and had a nice meal at the hotel restaurant which I enjoyed. However the waitress and most of the other staff did not speak good English, but the manager was very nice and his English was good. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, as it's close to the airport, if you have a early flight.
