The hotel is situated on the edge of a large park, thought a long distance away from hustle and bustle of the Old Town and river Oder. It is certainly NOT good value for money!!! Our so-called premium room overlooked the large, dirty roof of the restaurant and a children’s playground. In fact, contrary to the hotel's website, there would appear to be only one room in the whole hotel that has a decent lake view. The double bed was far too small for two adults. The bathroom was modern but sadly it did not have any storage whatsoever, not even a shelf, so if you risk a stay, be prepared to store your toiletries (including your toothbrush) on the bathroom floor. Room service was very poor (the chambermaids did not even seem to know how to make beds!). The breakfast spread was very poor and food was seldom replenished. Often by 9 o'clock, there was almost nothing left, not even bread on the buffet nor milk in the coffee machine. Not sure if the staff were just lazy and hiding but it seemed to us that this is a completely under-resourced hotel both in terms of numbers and staff abilities. When we complained about the service and quality, we were told the Chef didn’t work weekends and there was no Maitre D or management responsible for training or supervising staff (don’t even get me started on the shambolic wedding breakfast we were unfortunate enough to attend). The waiting staff which occasionally appeared were inept. Even simple requests such as for hard-boiled eggs or omelettes proved a lottery and entailed a wait of up to 45 minutes one morning. During the day you considered yourself lucky to catch a waiter to place an order of a glass of beer or cup of coffee in the patio and even luckier to have it within 30 mins. The receptionist was not very helpful either: when asked for recommendations for a good restaurant we were directed to one that wasn’t even open (in fact it had closed down some considerable time ago) but thankfully our taxi driver found us an alternative. Can you believe it took an hour to check out? There was an error with the bill and after half an hour of fumbling with here computer the receptionist ‘phoned the manager who had to come from home to sort out the bill which we eventually agreed. For the inconvenience, we were offered a bowl of soup! All in all, we could not possibly recommend this hotel and we are left wondering whether other reviewers had actually even stayed there. It certainly isn’t a four-star hotel, even by Polish standards. The hotels main business would appear to be conferences and business meetings. If you value comfort and value for money, do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague – there is a brand new 5-star hotel opening just down the road but unfortunately it wasn’t ready for occupation whilst we were there, otherwise, we would have moved.

Zaciszny hotel w centrum miasta, z dużym parkingiem, w koło bardzo dużo zieleni i staw. Przytulne pokoje, z dobrej klasy wystrojem. Doskonała obsługa. Spokojne miejsce na wypoczynek po intensywnym dniu. W hotelu znajduje się spa. Niestety nie korzystałem. Bardzo dobra kuchnia. Smaczne śniadania, część potraw przygotowywana na bieżąco. W pokojach możliwość przygotowania kawy, herbaty. Dostępny barek. Pokoje klimatyzowane.
